Amazing
GGrogu on the roadYesterda I stayed at Ace Capsule Hostel in Osaka, and it was a fantastic experience for anyone looking to try capsule-style accommodation, very good. First and foremost, the entire place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The capsule beds themselves were surprisingly comfortable, providing a cozy, private space that made it easy to get a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. What really stood out to me were the excellent amenities. The hostel truly thinks of everything to make your stay hassle-free. A major bonus was that they provide both a small towel and a big towel for guests, which is incredibly convenient and saved me from having to pack my own. The shower facilities and common areas were also spotless and fully stocked. Between the comfort, the cleanliness, and the thoughtful perks, this hostel offers incredible value for budget travelers and solo backpackers in Osaka. The location was perfect ! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and classic Japanese capsule experience. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Osaka!

Amazing
HhetomyThe room was very quiet, and housekeeping cleaned it daily. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Shinsaibashi, and the subway station is right outside the door. Although breakfast was Japanese style, there were many options, and I thought it was even better than the breakfast at the hotel in Kyobashi.

AAimidebaobaozhijiaThe room was pretty good, a spacious family room. What truly made it worth it was its proximity to Universal Studios – so convenient! Especially after a whole day of playing, being able to get back to the hotel in a second almost justified 99% of the room fee. Plus, there's shopping, food, and everything you need downstairs, super handy.

XXige1993Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel's location is super convenient, and the room was spacious, bright, and very clean. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby all night. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The facilities are excellent, offering great value for money, and I truly felt at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it!

ちなみI've stayed at various Koko hotels many times, and they generally offer good value for money. Hotels around Namba Station in a similar price range are either too old or too far from the subway. This Sennichimae location is excellent! Coming from Kobe on the Hanshin Electric Railway, exit at the west exit. You'll come up into the 'Walk' underground mall. Walk along the right side of the underground mall and look for exit B30 (pictured in photo five). Next to it is a small cafe with a bear painted on the wall 🐻. After climbing the stairs, you'll see a 7-Eleven, and right next door is the hotel. (Be aware that several exits in this area are all stairs, I didn't see any with elevators, so if you have large luggage, it might be a bit strenuous). The room size is relatively small. You can open one 26-inch suitcase, but two would probably be difficult! The hotel is quite new, and toiletries can be picked up from the lobby on the first floor. The hairdryer is still not very good, unfortunately. Check-in was very convenient with a Chinese-speaking staff member. There are plenty of dining options in the shopping street downstairs, as well as general stores and cosmetics shops. Plus, you can walk directly to Namba Station underground, which is really convenient.

SSquiddlydiddlySuch a cool hotel! Very well thought through services - breakfast was a ten, the items to rent show a lot of thought has gone in to guest experience. The room was huge and super clean. Free beer and a DJ set in the evening was a nice extra touch.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located right in front of Dotonbori Street, but it's not a noisy area. There are convenience stores like Lawson and 7-Eleven nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk (1km) from Namba Station, which is manageable when coming from the airport. The bathroom was clean. Free breakfast includes bread, drinks, and coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious! Amenities are self-service on the first floor. You need to request new towels daily. Room cleaning is done once every three nights. The room itself is small, but having experienced even smaller rooms before, this size was acceptable.

GGuest UserWas a great trip. Perfect location, right where all the best food is and perfect distance to train stations. The only thing I would say is DO NOT do your laundry here. They have the prices on the sheet that’s in your bedroom, but charged us almost 3x the number it should have been. We only realised and complained about it which meant we got our refund. If we hadn’t of said anything we would have been ripped off!

RRRB869⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Cafe & Hostel Kimi to Ichigo I had a wonderful stay at Cafe & Hostel Kimi to Ichigo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They made the check-in process smooth and were always available whenever I had questions throughout my stay. The hostel offers check-in from 3:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM. One feature I especially appreciated was that guests are still welcome to use the spacious common area until 8:00 PM after check-out. This is incredibly convenient if you have a late departure, need a place to rest after shopping, or simply want to relax before heading to the airport or station. The facility itself is clean, modern, and very well-maintained. One of my favorite features was the large common area, which provided a comfortable space to relax, work, eat, or socialize with other guests. The common area also offers complimentary hot and cold water, as well as tea, which was a thoughtful touch and a nice way to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The bathrooms and toilets were spotless throughout my stay. The shower rooms were equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the sinks and vanity area were spacious, making it easy to get ready without feeling crowded. I stayed in the all-female dormitory, which felt very safe and secure since it remained locked at all times. The bunk beds were surprisingly spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room for a good night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable throughout the hostel, making it easy to stay connected. For those looking for an affordable breakfast option, the hostel offers breakfast for around ¥500, which is both practical and reasonably priced. The hostel also provides convenient luggage storage services. Guests can leave their luggage before check-in and after check-out, making it easy to continue exploring the city without carrying heavy bags around. Long-term travelers will appreciate the laundry facilities. A washing machine is available for ¥200 per cycle (30 minutes), and detergent can be purchased for ¥50 per packet. I personally recommend using two packets of detergent if you have a larger load and want your clothes to smell fresher. A dryer is available for ¥100 per 30 minutes, but if you’re washing several days’ worth of clothes like I did during my four-night stay, I would suggest allowing around two hours of drying time. One thing future guests should note is that towels are not provided free of charge, so it’s a good idea to bring your own. However, towels can be rented at the hostel for ¥200 if needed. The location is another major advantage. The hostel is only about a 7-minute walk from Namba Station and other nearby train stations. Dotonbori, countless shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and entertainment spots are all within easy walking distance, making it an excellent base for exploring Osaka. Overall, Cafe & Hostel Kimi to Ichigo offers excellent value for money, outstanding cleanliness, great facilities, and warm hospitality. Whether you’re a solo traveler or visiting with friends, it’s a comfortable, safe, and welcoming place to stay. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Osaka.

HHeiressjloThe room itself is well maintained and the facilities are common basic ones that I need as a solo female traveler. It a 5 minute walk to Juso Station and a lot of convenience store around. They have a coin laundry machine as well so it was easier to wash clothes when I needed it. All additional things that you need such as toiletries are also readily available at the lobby area. And the best part was the free breakfast!
