"The first image shows the entrance. It was a bit hard to find at first, but you open it by turning the handle. The doorknob is right where the person is standing. The room was relatively clean, but as you can see in the fifth photo, there's a gap under the door, so bugs were quite common. I'm not sure if they were mosquitoes or bed bugs, but I got bitten in three places in the room on the first night. I didn't get bitten after the second day, so maybe they weren't bed bugs...? There was a power outage from late on the first night (the lights worked, but plug-in items like phone chargers and fans stopped working). Since there was no air conditioning, the fan stopped, and it was hot and humid due to the rain. There were no power outages on the second day onwards. For breakfast, you could choose from about four different side dishes. The menu varied slightly each day. Milk tea and coffee were available, as well as bread, yogurt, and fruit. While the bugs and power outages were a bit of a bummer at times, we got fresh water every day, and most importantly, there were super friendly cats, which alone made it a fantastic stay. They were seriously adorable and often meowed near the room."

"The distance from Pashupatinath Temple makes it the unique place to stay. The entrance of the temple is in front of this hotel. It took just 15 minutes to get Darshan from this hotel. We walked barefoot directly from the hotel to the temple as the entrance of the temple is just few steps from the hotel. Additionally ambience is quite positive and spiritual. Breakfast menu was rich and fulfilling. If you’re coming to visit Pashupatinath Temple, this property is worth staying with family. Har Har Mahadev 🙏🏻"

"This isn't my first time staying at this hotel. The service is simply unparalleled – every time, you feel like the MOST important guest, especially in the restaurant. The chef personally asks how you enjoyed the food and is ready to accommodate any guest requests. The food is DIVINE. The only thing missing is more meat options besides chicken and lamb. The room is spotless; there isn't even a trace of water spots on the bathroom fixtures or glass. The internet is excellent and FAST. Complimentary airport transfer is a great perk. You can also turn on the AC for heating in the room. After the spartan conditions in Lukla, this feels like the Metropol!"

"Extremely wonderful hotel 15 minutes walk from the airport. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable, and I always felt well taken care of. The gym is well stocked and has a great view of the city. Breakfast was another highlight and included many delicious Nepalese, Indian, and Western foods. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind, helping me call taxis for a cheaper fare than the tourist rip off price, and they also helped me store my luggage overnight while I went on a yoga retreat. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!!"

"The service is really nice, with this kind of price I think it’s truly worth it, especially, I enjoy the food a lot! But for a family, the space is slightly small, also, not a bother for me but I just a reminder ,not much but you can still smell the cigarette in the room"

"There were a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops around, and there was nothing to worry about. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, and the free water server and coffee service were also very good. I was a little worried about the smell of the water and the towels were not rented, but overall it is a very good hostel!"

"Stayed here before my flight out of KTM. Free airport pickup and drop-off is a nice perk. The downside: I requested late checkout due to an evening flight, but it was refused and I had to pay half-day rate. That was frustrating. Positives: Housekeeping staff were helpful (quick with fresh towels and trash), restaurant food was tasty, and the front desk gave a warm farewell. Good for a transit stay if you don't need flexible checkout."

"Pashupatinath Boutique hotel is located a little in the interior tucked away from the main road traffic and not so easy to find .. it is amidst a middle class residential area . Once you enter the compound you are transported to a well maintained homely atmosphere where every staff member makes you feel at home . The front office & Operations managers - Cyrus & Suraksha were very helpful and besides supporting in booking transport for local visits , they were flexible to accommodate our needs when plans changed because of flight cancellations. Their breakfast is wholesome and tasty and lot more suited to Indian vegetarian needs , restaurant staff are kind and though the menu has limited offerings , all the Indian stuff from menu we ordered was tastefully presented and well prepared . Rooms are compact , clean and well maintained . Housekeeping is excellent and wall decors make Hindus very comfortable . Only sore part is the water available for bath is comfortably warm and not as hot as some would prefer to relieve body pain 😀."

"I stayed at Kusum Airport Hotel, Kathmandu 🇳🇵 for 3 nights (April 1st – April 4th), and overall it was a really good experience. The location is very convenient, especially for travelers since it’s close to the airport ✈️. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect to relax after a long day. What I enjoyed the most was the food — very tasty and satisfying, definitely something I looked forward to every day. A very special thanks to Sachin Thapa 👏 He was honestly one of the best parts of my stay. Always welcoming with a smile, very respectful, and gave excellent service every time. He made sure everything was smooth and comfortable, and his positive attitude really stood out. Staff like him make a place feel more than just a hotel. The only thing that needs improvement is the bathroom, which wasn’t up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel. Other than that, everything else was great — good service, nice atmosphere, and a comfortable stay overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu, especially if you want a convenient location and good food 👍"
