"this hotel is by far the most excellent places located for a Gdansk trip in the old town. I had a couple of recommandations for food and I kid you not, eerything was 3 minutes away The check-in was smooth, we had the nist important amenities, the umbrella. While it's july the weather is quite bipolar. We didn't try the breakfast option as specialty coffee places are a dime a dozen. I can go on about the good things for this hotel, alas, nothing is perfect. First room in the hotel smelled like a whole regiment had a running marathon and left the stinky shoes and socks in the locker for two days. I hope it paints a good picture, however reception wad kind enough to change the room. While the room change helped, the smell still persisted, as such we made use of tbe windows (the room probably never smelled so good after we left). By openning the windows, we exposed ourselves to the bane of everyone's existence, the bell's of hell that ring at all hours of the night and day, enough times to raise the dead and make them want to die again. Again, an issue most people might not have if they keep the windows closed, alas, there is a choice, old socks and trainers smell vs the reigning champion bell's of hell. The choice is yours my dear reader. Bonus points for the picture of Malbork castle that is an absolute must"

"Unfortunately, our experience at Radisson Suites Gdańsk was disappointing. The staff felt quite unfriendly and even rude at times. Any request or small issue we asked for was met with zero willingness to help or find a solution. It honestly felt like there was no sense of hospitality at all, which was surprising for Poland, where people are usually much warmer. The hotel itself is very standard, nothing special for a Radisson property. Since our room didn’t have a water view either, there was really nothing memorable or enjoyable about the stay. Overall, not a place I would choose again"

"The location is excellent, about a ten-minute walk to the old town, passing a large supermarket along the way. Yet, the price is half that of hotels in the old town, making it incredibly good value. The hotel is very new and clean, and the surrounding area is quiet. There's also a bus stop right outside. The only minor downsides were a slight drain smell in the room, and the air conditioning (or perhaps a ventilation fan?) couldn't be completely turned off. The vent blew a gentle breeze directly onto the bed, so I ended up sleeping with my head at the foot of the bed. The room comes with a full set of kitchenware and cutlery, though I didn't use them during my two-day stay. Oh, and for some reason, there were no bedside tables, but that wasn't a big issue. Hand soap and shower gel were provided, but remember to bring your own other disposable toiletries."

"Each time I come to Gdansk I stay at PURO. Great service, hotel rooms spacious and clean with all amenities. They are very helpful and accommodating with all the requests. And they have a sauna and great bar at the top floor."

"Perfect and inexpensive place to spend a few days in beautiful Gdansk. The small kitchenette is very useful (microwave, refrigerator, kettle). There are cups, glasses, plates, spoons, etc... everything you need. It was very helpful that they had coffee, sugar, and tea in the cupboard... just buying milk at the supermarket is enough to make a ”café con leche” for breakfast or an afternoon snack. There's a small cloth, a sponge, and soap for cleaning the utensils (though you have to use the bathroom sink since there isn't a proper sink). Bathroom... large and very clean. Perfect Wi-Fi. TV with plenty of channels. Perfect location... just 2 minutes from the City Hall and practically on the canal. Spotless. Beautiful building."

"The gym is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views through the glass. It's also convenient for visiting nearby attractions, as they are within walking distance. Parking is in the adjacent building, as the hotel's parking is a bit pricey."

"The hotel is very conveniently located, which is definitely a plus. However, there are several issues that prevent it from truly living up to its five-star rating. At check-in, we were not informed that parking was paid. As a result, after three days of stay, we were required to pay a rather significant amount at check-out, which came as an unpleasant surprise. The rooms are generally comfortable and well equipped, but in the bathroom there were noticeable uncleaned areas and fingerprints on the faucets, indicating that housekeeping was not done thoroughly. I would also like to specifically mention the breakfasts, which were a complete disappointment. From a five-star hotel belonging to an international chain, a very different standard is expected. The food was not fresh and appeared dried out (see photos), the selection did not change from day to day, there was almost no pastry, desserts were limited to just two items, and there were no vegetarian options at all, which seems strange for a hotel of this level."

"I thought the balcony room had a river view as it was shown in the pictures of the trip.com listing but it wasn't. One of the girls at reception changed me after insisting for quite a bit. The other girl that managed the WhatsApp completely ignored me on multiple occasions. Furthermore, the terrace was dirty and hadn't been cleaned, and my chair leg went through the crack of the terrace and I nearly thought I was gone for a second. Would not repeat my experience here tbh."

"The hotel offers a wonderful view of the carrantor and the old town. There are only a few steps there, and you are a little away from the trubble. The room was beautifully furnished. However, a manko was that it was not good in the room. Since the room was out of the street, you could look into the room from the street, unless the garden was preferred. The reception service was very friendly and very effort."
