Exceeded all expectations, given the affordable price point. Very attentive team, great inter-connecting room that was clean and spacious. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Stayed at Angsana again after our last stay 10 years ago. Although certain aspects, such has the TV, air conditioner control, kids room decor and certain parts of the interconnected pool feels a bit dated, the spacious environment and excellent and friendly staff make Angsana one of our most memorable hotel resort. We stayed in a room with a king bed and added an extra bed for our family of 4 (would be even better if the rooms actually had such extra bed as a permanent room option as the room was definitely big enough). Great restaurant food choices at reasonable prices. Our mini fridge had an issue of freezing and shattering the hotel provided glass water bottle everyday, but the staff came to clean up and replaced the bottle everyday. Saw some other rooms have a clothing drying rack on their balcony, which could have been useful if we had it in our room as well. The sand at the beach was very nice and would have been better if life jackets for both adults and children were easily available. There were also for washing stations in the shape of frog statues at locations where you may be returning to the building after going into sand, but it would be better if these had better signage and fixed alignment as it would get shifted and not spray out water properly as other guests may move the frog throughout the day. The hotel beach can easily access the neighboring local restaurant/bar with even more affordable pricing. The short ride by Grab/taxi to Boat Avenue is well worth it with a proper supermarket (Canal Village only has a small essentials-only mini mart) and lots of restaurants and spa/massage places. Another note, as the entire hotel has breakfast buffet at the Marketplace restaurant, it gets crowded fast from around 9am (and the egg station would have a long wait). Definitely recommend staying at Angsana for overall experience/quality/value for money/pricing.

Our stay at Cassia Phuket was absolutely amazing! We stayed in the Loft Room, and the view of the lagoon and the beach from our room was simply breathtaking — it felt like waking up in a postcard every morning.
The hotel’s location is perfect, with direct access to both the lagoon and the beach. One of our favorite parts was the complimentary ferry that takes guests across the lagoon to the beach every 20 minutes — such a fun and convenient touch that made getting around effortless.
The atmosphere at Cassia is vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to help. The modern design of the rooms, the lively community spaces, and the stunning natural surroundings made our stay unforgettable not to forget mentioning pet friendly hotel.
Cassia Phuket truly captures the best of relaxation, style, and island charm!

The hotel is located near Boat Avenue, with a 7-Eleven right on the corner, making its location excellent. It's divided into three buildings (A, B, and C). Our room was upgraded upon check-in, and the apartment was spacious, allowing us to cook our own meals. Breakfast is a set menu, not a buffet. Watching the sunrise in the morning was beautiful. Highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay here at 6th Ave. Roof top pool we could take our granddaughter to, restaurant upstairs (ordered room serv a few times and no.complaints). Also enjoyed the buffet breakfast a few days.
2 elevators, 7 floors, plenty of parking.
We stayed in two different rooms (5th floor and 6th). Both had a balcony you were allowed to smoke on. Bedroom with door, bathroom in the bedroom, fold out couch (kind of old, and no idea if comfortable), coffee table, kitchen table (2 chairs), big fridge w/ sep freezer, elec cook top, sink, toaster, kettle, microwave, and small selection of cooking stuff, utensils, plates, bowls, cups and glasses.
My wife has stayed here before, and iwould come back to stay again myself.

Check in time was 2pm, reached hotel at 340pm and was given a room that was not cleaned. Offered complimentary room upgrade to the one bedroom suite but the room was facing the construction site, so the bathtub cannot be used (no curtain and very dusty). The soundproofing wasn't that good, could hear other rooms closing the doors. However, the level 7 amenities were good, welcome drink, rooftop pool, rooftop seating area (for stargazing) and breakfast buffet.

This hotel is located right by Bangtao Beach. Across the street, there's a Tops supermarket for all your basic shopping needs, plus plenty of restaurants, massage parlors, and a night market, all at reasonable prices.
Each building in the hotel is a three-story structure with no elevator, only stairs. The rooms seem to have been renovated; they're a good size and kept very clean, with no broken facilities. There are a limited number of power outlets. The bathroom had no strange odors, but the showerhead is fixed, and the tap water quality isn't great – it sometimes runs yellow. Rooms come with an electric kettle and a small fridge that can even make ice, which is handy.
The breakfast selection is quite varied, with different dishes offered daily, and the food tastes good.
There are multiple swimming pools, including a kids' pool with slides and other facilities. The indoor kids' play area is small and has age restrictions. It’s just a few minutes' walk to the beach, where the hotel offers free sun loungers and sofas, though they tend to be occupied mostly by Caucasians. The beach is great for swimming, with fine sand and clear water. You'll find many restaurants and massage shops along the beach, but they are a bit pricier than those outside the resort.
Overall, it's a good place for a pure resort-style vacation.

The apartment was freshly renovated. The bedrooms are upstairs, and the soundproofing is good. One of the bedrooms has no windows, which is perfect for those who love complete silence and darkness. If needed, you could also accommodate someone on the ground floor. We were disappointed that the stove we were expecting wasn't working. It's in the hotel's photos, but there's a sign on it saying it can't be used as the apartment is for sale, and it's just there for demonstration. Dining utensils are provided. Cleaning is every two days with towel changes, and water is replenished.
The hotel is a 10-15 minute drive from Bang Tao Beach, or about 45 minutes on foot. We specifically wanted to walk a lot each day, so we often walked. About a third of the walk is along the roadside, which is dusty and narrow. The rest of the walk to the beach is through the pleasant Laguna area. Bang Tao Beach is excellent, one of the best in Phuket. It wouldn't be convenient to walk the entire way with small children. The hotel offers a one-way transfer to Boat Avenue or Bang Tao Beach from 9 AM to 3 PM. It might be possible to arrange for them to pick you up from the beach if you arrive precisely at their scheduled pickup time. Taxis cost 200-240 baht one way, but you can order motorbikes, which are cheaper for 1-2 people.
A downside is the construction next to the hotel, which you can see in the attached photos. It definitely detracts from the overall impression. However, it bothered us very little as our windows faced entirely the other side, towards the golf course. The view from the room was beautiful. The pool is small, but it was still pleasant to use sometimes.
There are no shops right next to the hotel, so you need to buy groceries in advance. The nearest shop is a 10-15 minute walk along the roadside (or a few minutes by car). It mainly sells Russian food (ready meals, prepared dishes, groceries, drinks – a small but good selection). Nearby, there's an area with a playground, kindergarten, cafes, restaurants, and beauty salons, but we preferred those further away, in the Villa Market and Boat Avenue area. The nearest supermarkets are Villa Market, Tops, and 7-Eleven. Among the restaurants nearby, I recommend Tawai – it offers more refined Thai cuisine with restaurant-style presentation and a mid-range price. A much cheaper option nearby for locals is La Ong Dao Restaurant – it’s simpler, much more affordable, like a canteen, but tasty and safe. In the same area, there are, in my opinion, two of the best Night Markets: on Fridays near Villa Market and on Saturdays near Saii hotel. At the night markets, you can eat delicious food and buy fruits and souvenirs. You can also stroll in the park with lakes and monitor lizards – entry is through Opened Kitchen. Overall, the Bang Tao area is quiet, considered more expensive than others, but it depends on where you stay and eat. You can easily find everything there, even on a moderate budget. On the beach itself, we liked Smigo and Yuuhi beach clubs the most. Enjoy your stay!

Set in one of Phuket's most vibrant areas, the hotel invites curious travelers to explore, relax and connect. A wonderful hotel, nothing but positive experiences. Clean, beautiful, bright, and the breakfasts were delicious. The beach is just steps away, and it wasn't crowded (it was late April). The only issue I had was that upon check-in, I was told breakfast wasn't included, but I showed my reservation and the issue was resolved promptly.

The facilities are unbelievably outdated, haha. I initially didn't believe the reviews about the worn-out decor, and now I'm just speechless. This room would go for 200-300 RMB domestically, but I paid 1400 RMB for one night. The hot water didn't work and needed repairs, the phone was out of order, and even the card reader for the door was rusted, so only I could get the door open. My elderly family members couldn't even manage it, it was ridiculous. When I told the front desk about the hot water, they said they'd sent someone, offering a very insincere 'sorry.' And the air conditioning noise at night was just… wow. The hotel's only selling point is the pool, but the water probably hadn't been changed in a while because my child had an allergic reaction. Maybe our kid is just delicate; other foreign children seemed to play in the water fine. The front desk staff were all very nice, always smiling, but completely helpless. Breakfast was okay, not great, not terrible, but definitely not worth the price. For fruit, they only had watermelon, cantaloupe, and dragon fruit – no other tropical fruits, not even a banana or pineapple. You had to make your own noodles, which… I understand prices are higher during peak season, but this experience was really bad. I originally booked based on the IHG brand reputation, but now I feel it's a huge letdown. My advice to everyone is to check the real-life guest photos, haha.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is a bit too remote. At night, the road outside the hotel is completely dark, so you're pretty much limited to dining at the hotel restaurant. However, you need reservations for dinner, and during Chinese New Year, it was impossible to get one. We ended up ordering takeout (though options were limited, and you had to pick it up yourself from the front desk). While there's a beach, the waves were too strong to really swim. The service, however, was excellent. We only booked this hotel because we were going to Similan the next day. P.S. Similan isn't worth it unless you're deep diving; snorkeling and a day trip are definitely not worth it.
GGuest UserI would like to say thank you for Noku for the birthday arrangements and also the kind service from the staff; I do not like complaining but I do have to raise up my issues as I do believe there can be massive improvements in the hotel and how they handle issues ($550USD for two night stay)
- I booked a HILL VILLA KING; I requested prior to arrival that I wanted a certain view and they replied we will try to the best of their availability (which is totally understandable)
- When I arrived the service was good and they were very kind and again I appreciated the birthday setup they did in the room
- After I checked in ROOM H11; which I saw was weird was there was 2 separate bed bases; and using common sense I thought why would a KING bed have 2 bed bases
- After trying to sleep at night I noticed that it was actually a 2 twin beds put together which explains the two separate bed bases; during the night the bed moved in the middle (with obvious two twin beds and the line in the middle) the bed sheets did not fit because it was two twins and they gave me two separate blankets (it was me and my girlfriend) so it is weird having two separate blankets
- I went to explain my situation to duty manager (AM is his name) he was very nice but very inexperienced I must say; I went to the front desk and I said “hi may I know what type of room I booked” then they said “king bed Hill Villa” I said perfect then I said I would like to speak to a manager (they knew what I was going to say)
- When AM came out he did not let me speak he just talked and said sir because you requested for a nicer view we gave you this room and because the king bed broke which is why we put two twins together. I asked if that is the case why did you not inform me at check in? He said oh we did not im so sorry; let me change your room for you and I will send a fruit plate as apology (TBH I don’t want a fruit plate I can easily get one for $2USD anywhere in Thailand) I said please I had lunch yesterday which was around $25USD pls waive that for me as courtesy and everything would be fine. AM replied of course that’s not a problem sir (I THOUGHT everything was resolved) not sure if he did not understand but I spoke slowly in English due to the language barrier
- We went to my new room at night and saw the fruit plate (thought it was a bonus) room was better and was a king bed which is what I wanted. I go to check out the following morning (I DID NOT HAVE TO) they do not take a deposit which is weird because I signed a lunch to my room so I could have just left. I met AM again and he showed me the map of the whole hotel; Pointed at H11 and you can clearly see that the room has two twin beds (So the BED was not broken they just put me in a twin bed combined into a King) He said yes lol not sure why because its not what he said yesterday that the King bed broke. Then he said oh sir you do have a lunch that you had to pay for (Yesterday he just said yes no problem I will take care) now I need to pay for it; I said did you not say you will take care of it he replied “sorry sir because this is another department” To me its one hotel; how you deal with costs internally is not my problem ( I WAS NOT GOING WRITE A REVIEW BUT AFTER THIS I HAD TO)
- Also just to add First day breakfast I asked for (ICE THAI COFFEE) they said they do not have and interesting as im in Thailand all hotels have this but it was fine; BUT the breakfast colleagues said at afternoon session they have so I said no problem! But one of the staff offered “sir tomorrow morning we can offer if you would like” I thought amazing that’s service; next day I went “SIR WE DO NOT HAVE THAI COFFEE” after the disappointments above I gave up and adding to the bill not being waived which is a fraction of the cost of the room I gave up
- All in all this hotel tries to be “high end” but there are many improvements that can be made
Sorry for the long review but I was not too impressed
ZZhubagongzimianThis hotel seems to be less frequented by Chinese tourists. During my three-day stay, I only saw about four Chinese guests, while the Sheraton next door was packed with them. The hotel has an old-school Western resort vibe, with spacious rooms and a large enough pool, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I probably got lucky with the price this time, under 600 a night, which was a real bargain. The only significant drawback was the breakfast; the food options were limited, and the service needed improvement. However, for someone like me who can't wake up early, it wasn't a big deal.
The hotel's location is excellent. It's right on the beach, with a 7-Eleven and laundry service just a 5-minute walk away. It's also only about a 10-20 minute walk to Jungceylon. It's convenient yet quiet enough at night. I originally booked a garden view room, but the front desk staff upgraded me to a sunset garden view upon check-in. The room was spacious and well-laid out, with a sofa and a desk. The bathroom was large and clean, and the balcony had two lounge chairs, giving it a great vacation feel while staying at the hotel. Overall, I think it's pretty good, a bit like a Wyndham or Shangri-La in China. While it's not overly luxurious, at this price, what more could you ask for? I'd definitely book again if the price is right next time.
**Facilities:** The room facilities are complete. Although a bit old, they are well-maintained. The cushions on the balcony lounge chairs were slightly worn but didn't affect their use.
**Cleanliness:** Clean and tidy, meeting 5-star standards.
**Environment:** The hotel consists of roughly three buildings flanking two pools, making it ideal for a 'staycation.' The beach is right outside, and there's a restaurant near the sea with live band performances in the evenings.
**Service:** It seems a bit understaffed, but generally, the attitude was good. Basic services like luggage assistance and cleaning were all handled well.
GGuest UserWe loved the overall experience as a family of four. It was only a short boat ride from Phuket. Although the beach was small, there was a private pool in our villa which we loved. We swam in the private pool when it was sunset. It was so pretty.
The majority of the staff was also incredibly friendly, with almost every service available 24/7.
Impressed by the friendliness of the staff at Naka Island Hotel. None of them went past us without smiling and greeting us, and almost everyone we met was ready to engage in little conversation to help us settle into the environment. It was so chilled all around, the surroundings and the accommodation, our nerves were rested for a good few days. Beautiful local excursions also available. We went on a little hike to Tad zoo beach which proved to be a little of an adventure because of the 30-min arduous walk for the kids. Once there, not only did we enjoy the beach chilled atmosphere, we got on jet skis with some discounts to the hotel prices too. Upon return to hotel, we jumped into the private pool overlooking the beach at sunset. An amazing experience hard to forget.
Breakfast was exquisite. It had the blend of modern western food and local Thai food. The noodles were delicious, broth was excellent. Got a shoulder and back massage free of charge at the entrance to the veranda restaurant (breakfast restaurant) - knowing how much it would cost, it made my day. Would recommend the Muay Thai to anyone seeking a workout with a touch of Thai culture. The instructor was friendly and funny. He identified my daughter’s talent in the sport. When we go back to HK, I will have another perspective to work on.
DDonドニMy first time staying at a deck dorm style. The manager was willing to come, and did check in for me in the middle of the night. Do the 200 Baht refundable deposit. Give me the towel. Informed me to the rule of no sandal/shoes at 2nd floor to maintain the floor kept clean.
That is all you can see.
Nice room, chill, no noise in the room, and other ”I am sleeping” rules.
If you have an issue of not using sandals in the bathroom, then honestly you just need a hotel with a private room. Yeah, upper deck was scary. I dreamt of falling down 😪
Well, deck dorm style is not just for me. But a good experience here, and with 217 Baht (including tax) I paid, it is worth the money.
This hotel provides breakfast too. Something I don't really expect 😁😁
They also give me a key gift over a checkout. For sure, I get my 200 Baht back.
SsaiudnThe staff were really welcoming upon arrival, with a drink and fresh towel to cool down. I was given a twin room but the staff kindly put the beds together immediately. The mattress and pillows were so soft and I slept comfortably. One small faul is that there was no remote control for the AC, so I did have to get up in the middle of the night to adjust the settings.
Hhellenxiao831Reading other reviews made me a bit nervous at first, but after checking in, I found it to be absolutely wonderful. The hotel was very clean, and the Thai-style gardens and pool were fantastic. Plus, the hotel is right on the beach – just a short walk from our room, which was incredibly convenient. My child loved it so much they didn't want to leave!
The only downside is that there's nothing much outside the hotel; it's a bit isolated. So, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel stay with family fun, this place is perfect. There are a few restaurants by the sea, and the prices are quite reasonable. It's really great! I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.
AAnisurrahmansMy stay at the Andakira Hotel was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient. We were greeted with a cool towel and a refreshing drink, which was a lovely touch after a long journey.
Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and had a breathtaking view of the city skyline. The bed was supremely comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom was modern and well-stocked with high-quality toiletries.
The hotel's amenities are top-notch. We spent an afternoon by the beautiful infinity pool, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The breakfast buffet was extensive, offering a great mix of local and international dishes, all of which were delicious.
Its location is also a major plus, with easy access to public transport and main attractions.
We cannot recommend the Andakira Hotel highly enough. It was the perfect base for our trip, and we will definitely be returning.
Highlights:
· Exceptional, friendly staff
· Beautiful, clean rooms with great views
· Excellent pool and amenities
· Delicious and varied breakfast
XXiaolian2019We actually stayed here for five consecutive days! It was a very pleasant stay, and I really wanted to write more! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hygiene was excellent. The owner is Chinese and has been consistently upgrading the linens. The service was attentive; one night, our Indian neighbors were on a loud call at 2:30 AM, and the owner, contacted via WeChat, promptly resolved the issue! The guesthouse environment is very comfortable, with squirrels, cats 🐱, and other small animals! The sea is right outside the door, as is a local night market! The food stalls at the entrance are also affordable and delicious 😋! I loved it! And for only two to three hundred during peak season, the price is unbeatable!!
MMrV12341234LOVED our stay here and would recommend the place to others. See my below pros and cons.
Pros:
-the staff was very friendly. They all worked very hard to make sure the guests are happy.
-The food was delicious (especially the curry’s). Everything is good except maybe some of the western things like the hamburgers. Stick with the Thai dishes. The breakfast buffet was slightly above average.
-The rooms were very clean. No bugs.
-They provided us a very nice crib for our nine month old
-we never once heard our neighbors, or any guests, through the walls.
-The ac worked great.
-There is a free shuttle to old town Phuket each day (but see cons below on this).
You can use the Bolt or Grab app to call a taxi. This is much cheaper than the on site taxi.
-Free ride to and from the local beach (it’s not realistic to walk there because the road is too steep).
-The beach is very quiet compared to most beaches in Phuket. There is a bar at the beach that serves all kinds of drinks.
There are free beach chairs for you. If they are all taken the staff has large picnic mats for you to use (see below for negatives about the beach)
-beach area has a small children’s playground. One of those plastic castle style climb / slide things. There is also two small football (soccer) goals and a volleyball net.
-the beach is really nice in its own way. The sand and water is not as beautiful as other Phuket beaches, especially those on the west side, but the views of the nearby islands make it very serene and something the west side beaches don’t have. If you’re not coming to snorkel and see fish, it’s a good beach. There is also lots of shade if needed.
-you get one free kayak rental per stay
-The sheets in the room were changed every day and were very clean and comfortable
-The hot water was really hot and never ran out.
-our room had a mini fridge that worked great and had a little freezer section.
-The pool is very clean, cool, and relaxing. You can order drinks right in the pool
-The upper pool has an amazing view of the Thai islands. Make sure to get to the pool early (8-9am) and secure a chair or two if you plan to have a pool day.
-speaking of the view, because you’re on the east side, there are many islands in the distance, making the view’s spectacular. The west side beaches you’re looking out into open ocean. Here you see mountains and hills in the distance.
Cons:
-they give your room 2 water bottles each day, but you’re stuck at the resort unless you hire a taxi. So we had to continually buy water from the desk or restaurant until we went out to the 7-11 (I recommend stopping at a convenience store on your taxi ride to the resort and stock up on water, drinks, snacks etc that you enjoy)
-you have to get a taxi everywhere, even to a convenience store.
-There is a small store on site that sells snacks, drinks, souvenirs, cigarettes, etc. but it was never open. We got really frustrated because our 9 month old uses water for his formula and we simply couldn’t get enough water, so we had to repeatedly ask to use the store and then a worker finally came and let us buy some water.
-Our room did not have electric outlets next to the bed (could be a pro for some?). Actually, there was only one outlet in the room that was reasonably accessible to charge phones. (Plug outlets are multi purpose, had USA & Europe holes)
-The snorkeling is terrible at the Supalai beach. Very murky and cloudy water (The tides are rather extreme here, hundreds of feet of shore line exposed), leaving a muddy/marsh like area at the beach each evening. We even did a day trip over to Naka Yai island and Nahka noi island and the snorkeling was also pointless because the water is so cloudy. If you plan to snorkel don’t stay in the east side. But if you just want to side by the shore, relax, and get in for a quick dip… the beach is ok.
-No cloths line In Room to hang wet clothes / beach towels
-the free shuttle into town only seats 11 people so you need to r
