Hotels near Thong Sala Pier, Koh Phangan

Hi guys. I stayed at the Pier for a few days whilst travelling in Thailand. Loved it! Great location right on the beach and the owners were lovely people. Seemed like a family run business and they really look after the guests. I will 100% be returning again. Would definitely recommend it! Excellent. Fabien Ho

A lovely hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. Its location is great, being very close to the pier, though I personally preferred other areas. The highlights were definitely the beautiful pool and the quiet beach behind the property—both were perfect for relaxation. A couple of things could be improved: the cleanliness of the room wasn't quite up to standard, and there were a lot of mosquitoes. For the price, I felt it was a bit on the high side for what was offered. In a nutshell: Great for the pool and beach, but mind the value and bring mosquito repellent

Stayed with my friends for one night. The location next to the night market is super convenient. We didn't check how far it was to the beach, as that wasn't our focus. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean. Everything looked lovely. We especially loved having direct access from our room to the pool – that was amazing! Big thanks, if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back ❤️ (They even made adorable swans out of towels) 🥹🥹🥹

We always stay here for a couple of nights before finding accommodation at our favorite Haad Chao Phao beach. The hotel is very close to the pier, within walking distance. The room is huge and even has a bathtub, which is rare for hotels in Thailand. We also rent a scooter from them cheaply and book our transportation back. There's a pool, but we didn't use it as the sea here is wonderful. There's a market and a 7/11 next to the hotel. Highly recommend!

Cute, but a little tired, staff were excellent, and lovely and helpful, made up for everything else Our bungalow was on the beach so perfect Very basic accommodation, would recommend

On arrival I was placed in the wrong room and it was noisy next to the pool with music pumping till 12:30 and then at 8am I was woken to loud music again at the pool restaurant and noisy families - it was terrible to lose one night of sleep and to be placed in the wrong room . I had booked the deluxe room and they put me into a small noisy  room at the busy noisy pool restaurant area. I went to reception in the morning and said it was the wrong room and it was too noisy . They said they would put me in the correct room at 12.00. I was out in the correct room but it didn’t have tea or shower gel and I had to ask for it . The restaurant was a disaster and I asked to add on breakfast as the lady said I could pay extra and add on daily breakfast but when I asked to do this at the restaurant they said I couldn’t . It was weird and disappointing. They brought the wrong breakfast and I didn’t get the fruit that should come with my breakfast board. I ordered a cappuccino and it didn’t come . The next day I ordered a cappuccino and they gave me an Americano. The next day they were late bringing my cappuccino so I had to go to the counter and ask twice for it. They also placed someone else’s breakfast on my table . By the time I told them it was cold and they brought it to another table where the poor young boy got a cold late breakfast . In the mornings I was woken early to mass sweeping and chattering loudly outside my room . On checkout they have me another extra bill for 800 baht for a lunch at the restaurant that I never even had as I wasn’t even there that day as I was out the whole day. All in all it was a disaster for the high price that I paid … disappointing to say the least

Pool area is very nice and calm, even have a little library. room is very clean and welcoming, its quiet even in the morning, the bed comfortable, towels smell very good, everyone nice and smiling and very helpful. Perfect location, close by everything u need with walking distance like bars, markets, massage, shops and really everything. Entrance is big so no noise from the road. Only minus is that the curtains are 5 cm too short but i recommend 10 out of 10 and i will come back again.

Eine absolute Empfehlung!!! Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Die Nachtmärkte, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind unter 10 Minuten mit dem Roller erreichbar. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direktem Meerblick aus dem Bett. Die Sauberkeit hat deutschen Standard. Darüber hinaus wurde jeden Tag der Pool, sowie der Hauseigenen Strand gesäubert. Das Bett war auch sehr bequem und groß (ohne Ritze). Es stand kostenlos Trinkwasser zu Verfügung. Das WLAN hat sehr gut funktioniert auch am Strand. Man kann einen sehr guten Roller an der Rezeption für nur 200 Baht/Tag mieten. Am Abreisetag wurden wir auch noch kostenlos vom Hotel zum Hafen gebracht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Beautiful, well- kept resort. Great location, close to the main town area. Decent prices and amazing food at the restaurant. NOT for swim enthusiasts! The water is shallow, with sharp rocks and metal debris here and there , especially at low tide ..

I had such a great experience staying at Bunk House in Koh Phangan! The hostel was spotless – super clean and well-maintained. The staff were absolutely kind and welcoming. They even invited me and my hostel mate to join them for a badminton game, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. It felt like staying with friends! The amenities were all available and easily accessible. The rooms were very comfortable and equipped with air conditioning. They also provided free drinking water, changed our towels daily, and were always quick to help if we needed anything. The service was exactly what you'd hope for – friendly, efficient, and to the point. For the price, it was incredible value. I truly felt like I got more than what I paid for. I’ll definitely book here again the next time I’m in Koh Phangan. Highly recommend!
