The location is great, the front entrance can lead to the water taxi and river, whereas other side entrance is the shopping area where the patrons can go shopping and a great variety of cafe and restaurant, though the supermarket is about 10-15 minutes walking distance. I enjoyed my stay at Tru by Hilton in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The location was great. Downtown, easy access to everywhere, without feeling like you’re in the middle of a busy city. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Over all, the vibe of the place is very much like college dorm or summer camp for grown adults. I’d definitely stay here again. The free breakfast every morning was also a very nice addition.

Traveling business is very suitable! The facilities are very new, the service staff is very good, the breakfast is very satisfying! Awesome! Hope to stay again! ! !

Call the hotel for airport pick up. After a short wait, it took no time to get to the lobby. There is a free shuttle service to the cruise port. It is the best organizated way of loading the passengers to the bus in the order of drop off. Two thumbs up.

Clean and convenient, easy to eat out

This is the worst experience I have ever had when booking a hotel on Ctrip.com. Stay one night in Fort Lauderdale and board the cruise the next day. I didn't get a good rest at all that night. I was woken up by a knock on the door at around 1 a.m., and it became quiet after that. I thought someone might be having fun over the weekend and knocked on the wrong door. Half an hour later, I was frightened by the overwhelming knocks on the door. I felt that the hotel was on fire. I jumped up and opened the door while thinking about what to bring with me to escape... When I opened the door, I saw a man and a woman who claimed to be hotel security guards and wanted to check our passports. At about this time, The residents next door and across the door opened their doors and poked their heads in the door. During check-in, our passports have been shown to the counter and copied. Why do we need to check again in the middle of the night? We explained the situation, and the man called the intercom and talked to the hotel for a while, and then said it was okay. I asked what are you doing? He said it was a system problem that had nothing to do with him and left without saying sorry. She was so frightened that she lost all sleep. She went downstairs to the counter to ask what happened. It turned out that someone with the same name also checked in that day. Even so, the middle name was different and the order number was also different. She got the door password on her mobile phone. Fortunately our door was locked and she arrived at night; she could come in when we were out. The hotel was so arrogant and harassed in the middle of the night without even a word of apology. I will never visit this hotel again!

The location is better, the cruise will take a taxi for ten minutes. If you walk to the las olas beach, it will take about 40 minutes, but it is very dry. The hotel is clean and tidy, and breakfast can be packed away. I brought my own tea and I can also use the coffee machine to boil hot water.

The location is good if you know the area to Uber or if you have a rental. Not much around except for the small strip mall across the street. Room was nice and clean, the bed and pillows were very nice. Amenities were also nice and clean. Free breakfast, free shuttle to and from airport which was great. The pool and the gym were also clean. Cons: I chose a double queen bed but it was unavailable when I checked in so I was given a King with a sleeper sofa that didn’t work. I was told that this is the issue when booking through a third party service like ******* etc., I was traveling with my little boy so this wasn’t an issue but if I was with the whole family this would have been a major problem. At the end I was offered a refund and a new hotel elsewhere but I declined.
