"The hotel is an ordinary Hilton hotel with some shopping districts around it, which is not bad. But the attitude of the counter staff is average. I forgot a pair of shoes in the hotel, and I called to ask for it at night, but I couldn't reply. If you find it, call me and let me know. If you can't find it, you won't be notified. It's been a day and I haven't received a notification. 🥲🥲🥲"

"Pros: good location close to the MBTA station, free coffee/tea/water, stable Wi-Fi, clean rooms.
Cons: very small and narrow rooms considering the common US hotel standards, no buffet breakfast provided, no gym at the premises (it is located in another hotel nearby though)."

"I only stayed one one night but the stay was a good as you can get. Check-in was fast and easy, the room was clean and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a new digital thermostat which made adjusting the temp much more precise, which has historically been an issue for me as a business traveler. I'll definitely be back for my next trip to Cambridge."

"I stayed here in 2018, and this time I stayed here again. It was still a great experience; the rooms were spacious and the hotel was clean.
The only downside is that there are no shops nearby, except for a small convenience store on the first floor."

"The hotel facilities are very new, the room layout is convenient, and the breakfast is simple. There is a commercial area within walking distance, with many shopping and dining options. The hotel is not far from the subway station and can be walked. It is not far from the city center, and it takes more than ten minutes by taxi. Don't choose a room near the road, because the noise from large trucks and modified cars is very loud. In addition, the hotel quilt is very thin. Boston cooled down during the two-day stay, so it was a bit cold at night."

"Traveling with two adults and two kids, we struggled to find a suitable hotel, so we decided to just make do for a few nights. To our surprise, it was amazing! The layout was practical, the hygiene was impeccable, and it even had a microwave. The beds were comfortable, and it was cleaned daily. The value for money was incredible. After a month of staying in hotels across the US, this felt like hitting the jackpot. The restaurant's steak and burgers were delicious; I initially thought they wouldn't be good and regretted only eating there once. And the cookies 🍪 were absolutely delicious!"

"Great location on the Wharf and very clean, spacious rooms. The two issues: 1) the service at the front desk and with the valet is quite poor, and 2) the amenities are becoming outdated. The spa (Exhale) is nice, but hotel guests need to pay $60 for a pass to use the sauna and steam. It is not included in the room rate."

HHui HangWe love this place so much that you will need to come here to experience yourself. Warm hospitality, cozy vibes, free snacks, fruits, tea and coffee and a well functioning kitchen to cook light meals. Quiet neighborhood and lovely view from the window. Bird singing to wake you up and you can chill all day in the house if you don’t have plans lol.

GGuest UserThe room was of comfortable size and I particularly appreciated that the room was made up daily. Friendly staff and good service in general. The Grab and Go Bistro offered a good selection of breakfast choices, while the quality of dishes served at the Bisuteki (Japanese restaurant) by the lobby has much room for improvement, given the high prices! I also liked that the hotel is sandwiched between Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods Market, with a Blue Bikes dock just a couple mins walk from the lobby, very convenient.

LLamSecond time staying here, quite like the vibe of the hotel. By the river side of Boston river, quite quiet during the day, but also a popular gathering place at night and on weekends. So you get both the quietness and the crowd. The room is decent sizes, nothing to complain about. And the services are also reasonable. Surely would be my choice if I come back to Boston again. Oh forgot to mention, get a river view room, it's surely worth the price difference.

GGuest UserTo add, the hotel is incredibly convenient for visiting MIT, as it's within walking distance. Google Maps' walking directions aren't quite accurate and will take you on a roundabout route to the dome. I recommend navigating directly to MIT Chapel; the visitor center is right across from it. From there, you can easily cut through a building to reach the dome. Getting to Harvard is also easy, just take the Red Line subway. Once you exit the station, you're right at Harvard's red brick wall and main gate. You can also take the #1 bus, which will drop you off on the other side of the red wall and another gate. You could take the bus there and the subway back, avoiding retracing your steps. Overall, the hotel's location is great and very convenient for transport.

I didn't get a chance to try out the reading nook, foosball area, or fitness room in the lobby. The restaurant was excellent; during the World Cup, we watched games while eating, and the staff were friendly and chatted with us.

YYumihuaerkaiI booked two rooms. One was a river-view room with a balcony, offering a great view for photos, though the bed was a bit smaller. The other room also had a river view, but its balcony was enclosed within the hotel, and it had a larger bed. It rained and the temperature dropped, which actually made the enclosed balcony quite useful (haha).

GGal RWe had a lovely stay at the Fairfield Cambridge. From the lovely stuff at reception that allowed us to check in early in the morning. The service throughout our stay was excellent with lovely stuff all around.
The location, and the proximity to the subway station I'd a key asset to the property.

GGuest UserThe room was great. Clean, stocked with all necessary things like shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Would have liked a hairdryer but didn’t see one. The state of the building was a mess though. Major renovations left the first impressions lacking with the “front desk” stuck on the 3rd floor in a conference room. This made dragging my bag through an additional hurdle unhelpful. Renovations are often unavoidable but they should come with informing all guest about them prior to a booking a room. My room looked out onto a huge hole in the ground due to construction on the opposite side of the street. Also not ideal. Views from the lift were nice though.

XXiaoyangmeiAlthough it is not far from MIT, the surrounding area feels quite remote. The front desk service is not good. They refused to provide bottled water. I asked for it twice but they didn't give it to me. They said it was only for members and asked us to buy it at the gift shop, but there was no one in the store. Later, I went to the supermarket next door to buy water. Then I remembered that I had registered as an IHG member, but I was too lazy to go to the front desk to ask for water again. The breakfast was also very simple. I barely ate bread and bread to fill my stomach. After staying for a few days, I concluded that the service of this kind of chain store is average. Slippers are not provided. Everyone remember to bring your own slippers and toothpaste and toothbrush:) The parking fee is very expensive, 50 dollars per night for guests staying in the hotel
