"The public areas of the hotel are very beautiful, with a perfect combination of history and modernity. The hotel has a tennis court, a swimming pool and a free sauna, which are much larger than I thought. I recommend that you book a suite above the basic room type, which will be much better than the basic room type. There are not many breakfast options and the taste is average, but there is a very cute kitten near the kitchen. The key point is that the room is completely dark after the curtains are drawn, which is very friendly to people who have high requirements for the sleeping environment. The basic food in the hotel tastes average and needs to be improved, but there is a Michelin restaurant, which we did not have time to taste and should be good."

"We spent three wonderful days at Son Julia Country House, and everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and maintained to the highest standards. Our room was exceptional, and the facilities, including the pools, sauna, and jacuzzi, were excellent. The food was outstanding throughout our stay, especially a fantastic three-course dinner that was truly memorable. A special thank you to Hotel Manager Fernando Bibiloni de Oleza and the reception team, particularly Maria, for their warm hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail. Having spent many years in the travel industry, including serving as CEO of Ving Group, I have experienced hotels all over the world. I can wholeheartedly recommend Son Julia Country House to anyone looking for a first-class hotel experience. We look forward to returning! Olle Tönnervik ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended."

"Didn’t go for the food package so would have been nice to have some sort of tea and coffee making facilities and possibly a small fridge already in the room. I did notice a poster at reception for a fridge with €40. Not sure if this is a deposit or a charge. Location is good with access to both EMT and TIB busses, EMT is cash only and TIB allows you to tap on and off with a regular bank card. Prepare for your bathroom to become a slippy wet room, as the cleaners never replace wet towels or floor mats. The shower quickly overflows. Also to fit on the toilet the right way you’d have to be 4”2 so you have to sit on it sideways as the wall is right in front of it."

"Critical, but with a touch of understanding. Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was not satisfactory. The management seemed overwhelmed, resulting in chaotic operations. The environment was dirty and poorly maintained, making the stay unpleasant. Dinner was very basic and not particularly good, and breakfast required a lot of self-service, significantly reducing comfort. Overall, the hotel feels poorly maintained and is better suited to guests who accept low standards and enjoy being active. Maria, the hotel manager, seemed friendly, but she also appeared overwhelmed. The esoteric atmosphere might be interesting to some, but for me, it was rather confusing. This hotel might be suitable for a short, inexpensive stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for a relaxing holiday."

"Opinions about this hotel vary widely. If you're looking for a place to stay and eat without any expectations, willing to help out a lot, and prepared to accept numerous shortcomings (which you wouldn't find in well-run hotels), then this is the place for you. However, inadequate cleaning, poor food, and breakfasts with long waits and a limited selection clearly demonstrate that the manager is overwhelmed. Some might appreciate the "family" atmosphere, the opportunity to tidy up themselves, the simple rural retreat, the close contact with the manager, and the pseudo-Mallorcan charm. But if you're truly seeking quality, good food, and relaxation, this isn't the place for you. There are many beautiful, affordable, and high-quality fincas (country houses) in the surrounding area."
