"Wasn't actually able to stay at the hotel sdue to an error in their system. The hotel were accommodating to try and get is booked in on 3 extra dates but unsuccessful. Refused a refund on the issue. Can't say alot more other than a shame we were unstable to stay."

"Invincible satisfaction, this is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in the UK, although it is very convenient to eat in the restaurant on the first floor near the manor. The front desk of the hotel is also warm and the dinner tastes good. There is also a RV base next to the hotel. If you get off from Sheffield and take 218 back to Darcy Manor and then transfer to 6.1 Bus for seven minutes, follow the navigation positioning positioning. Remember to continue to walk forward for a few minutes and cross a small bridge. Navigation is not accurate. The local bus is no different from the taxi. I originally took a taxi to the hotel and found that Uber 138 pounds was not cost-effective and it was OK to take the car directly. The scenery along the way is particularly beautiful, and it is also a good journey experience ～"

"We stayed for one night in December and really like this hotel. Our room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was very good (I recommend booking in advance, as it was busy on a Saturday night), and breakfast in the morning, also very good. We will be happy to return some time!"

The accommodation comprises two circa 18c cottages with many original features a short distance from the centre of the picturesque village of Crich with all the key amenities you might need a short walk away. The cottage looks onto a cottage garden with off the road parking, seating and BBQ.
Crich is an historic village famous for it community activities and the tram museum. This 4 room property has an additional toilet on the first floor and toilet and shower room on the ground floor. As you can see from the pictures it has many historic features and the under floor heating very effectively keeps it warm complimented by the log burner. The South facing cottage garden provides a great place to relax in the sun..
The community is great and although the village is small it has retained its heart with a wide range of amenities close by. These include a mini supermarket, post office, butcher and a great baker (the loaf cafe), but I must admit the candle stick maker has had to close! There is also a wide range near by places to eat including the Black Swan, a fish and chip takeaway and an Indian restaurant. A short walk from the cottage takes you to views over the Derwent valley world heritage site and many walk options including the Cromford canal (which you can also cycle) taking you to the historic Arkwright mills and the tourist scene of Matlock Bath.

Now a holiday home the cottage sleeps three people: a good sized double, and a spacious single. There is a fully equipped kitchen, oven and microwave, washing machine, towels, bed linen, fireplace, central heating, hair dryer, all-you-can-eat Wi-Fi, a DVD player (with a selection of DVDs), a selection of books, maps and local guides, a 42-inch full HD smart TV with Freesat and Freeview, a smaller TV in the single bedroom, and more.
The bathroom (toilet and shower) is downstairs.
Parking for one car is right outside the front door. A second car can park on the village main road.
A small garden with clothes line is behind the house.
Guests have the whole property to themselves. Keys will be handed over on arrival.
Please treat Clover as you would your home and take care of the local environment. Derbyshire is a beautiful, rural county, and we take a lot of pride in it. The Old Mill and Cottage which dated from around the 18th century has full of character, quirky with old beamed ceilings, an old spiral staircase and a unique tower with a magnificent view of the Derwent Valley. The Old Mill has four bedrooms; a double bedroom in the tower, a twin bedroom, an adult bunk bedroom and a family room with 2 double beds and a single bed. It has two bathrooms, a large lounge with 4 settees, a large dining room with a large table that can seat10/12 easily, plus a small table that can seat 4 and a large patio garden with a gas BBQ. It is a perfect venue for a family holiday, a get-together party and a quiet hen and stag night. The adjacent cozy Cottage with an en-suite double bedroom and a sofa bed is the 5th bedroom. The properties can sleep 14/15. The properties have been sympathetically restored to a high standard and are very well equipped kitchen as well as having a large patio garden with BBQ and 2 tables for al fresco dining.
