"This hotel represents exceptional value for money, with quality rooms and exceptional services. I stayed 3 nights in April 2026, and i have wonderful view on the 8 floor. This trip was combination of business and pleasure. The breakfast had a range of options, catering for western and Indonesian tastes. However, it would be nice if milk was refrigerated, as with other Marriot group properties in Bal. There is a supermarket across the street and very large hypermarket about 5 minute walk from the hotel. An excellent bakery is 2 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel is not near major shopping malls, but they can be easily reaching via a grab taxi for about $2 in 10 mins. The bed was super comfy and arm chair was great. However, the desk height was not really appropriate and do not sufficient for business work. However, I completed most work in the armchair with pillows for the laptop. Excellent range of TV channels including BBC and CNN. An ice bucket costs 50,000 IDR. ($4 Aus dollars) I used the pool which was great on 2nd floor with city views. Unfortunately, the hotel is situated on extremely busy road and be careful when walking on the sidewalks (footpaths), it can be easy to fall. Still, I would highly recommended this hotel for the price paid and outstanding service and room quality for 4 star establishment. ."

"Don’t judge the hotel based on how it looks from outside as it might look like a run down building! The room is good, you get what you pay. Breakfast is good, local indonesian breakfast. The best part about this hotel is the staff. They might not be a 5 star hotel (I think) but the hospitality is 5 star! (From the staffs in the entrance area, to the reception counter, restaurants to the cleaning staff!) Kudos to the whole team! The location outside the hotel might be a bit creepy after 10pm to walk around because it’s dark. But don’t worry there’s always at least 2 staffs at the door and if you’re taking e-hailing service you’ll be fine, just don’t walk outside alone."

"As a 5-star hotel, our expectations were quite high, but unfortunately, the experience was somewhat disappointing. While the room was spacious, the overall condition felt dated and in need of refurbishment. The towels provided appeared yellowish, and the mattress was extremely soft, causing it to sink significantly, which affected our sleeping comfort. Communication was also challenging as many of the staff had limited English proficiency. In addition, the breakfast buffet did not meet our expectations in terms of variety and quality. One particularly concerning issue was that the milk served at breakfast tasted sour, suggesting it may have spoiled. We informed the staff, but the feedback did not seem to be taken seriously and no immediate action was observed. Although we only stayed for one night, we believe there are several areas where the hotel could improve, especially considering its 5-star positioning. With upgrades to the facilities, service standards, and food quality, the guest experience could be significantly enhanced."
