Hotel Cokkinis

Hotel Cokkinis

📍 50km Old National Road, Kineta, Megara
★★★ 8.8 (55 reviews)

"The room was laid out like a typical three-star hotel, but the overall experience was extremely comfortable and elegant, comparable to a five-star hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the balcony offered stunning views. There was a restaurant with delicious food; enjoying drinks and conversation with fellow travelers in the evenings made for wonderful memories. Highly recommended!"

Comer Kinetta Beach

★★★★ 7.7 (68 reviews)

"Perfectly clean sea!!!! If you book one of the four bungalows near the sea, your holiday will be very good. It's strange why we didn't find the national Greek pie tiropita at breakfast"

Megara Hotel

Megara Hotel

📍 Agiou Ioannou Theologou 84, Megara
★★★ 8.7 (15 reviews)

"Used this hotel as a base in Megara whilst attending a family wedding. The rooms were clean and functional and the staff extremely helpful and attentive. Ideally, we would have liked to have had a kettle in the room and some way of controlling the lights from the bed, but these are minor niggles. Would make a great place to stop over between Athens and the Peloponnese."

Sun Hotel Kineta Beach Front

📍 Paralia Kinetas Terma, Nireos, Megara
★★ 7.3 (13 reviews)

"This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. The only good thing is that it’s right on the beach however there is no Wi-Fi but that’s not the worst of it the worst is how dirty it is they don’t give you amenities like towels and toiletries. The food is horrible. The lady charges whatever she wants for the day. The doors are old and almost broken. My children’s bed broke the second night we were there the rooms are not renovated the pictures online are not true in the bathrooms had mildew and mold. There were flies all over even at the restaurant when you want to eat. Beware the lady in the front desk is a scam artist. Horrible experience totally regretted it oh and by the way you’re blocked in by the buses. Spend your money elsewhere wish I did. "

"Visited this resort with the Senior Discovery Tours. The hotel was just opened for the upcoming season, much work and various repairs were being done therefore the grounds and rooms could have been a bit better. The food was ok but because it was a buffet for all meals it became very tiring after three days . The food needed to be hot and most of it was cold. The staff were pleasant and very helpful at all times."

Megara Hotel ★★★
"Until about 2016 Megara had no hotel, so this newly built, modern hotel on the edge of town is very welcome. Our room was of a reasonable size, and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was adequate. There was ample parking space. The staff were exceptionally friendly, even by Greek standards. There were several minor points which, when taken together, mean I can't give five stars:. 1. Lighting in the bathroom was inadquate for anyone trying to put their makeup on properly. 2. There was not a single glass (or cup or similar) for drinking in the bedroom. If you are thirsty, and need some water, you will have to cup your hands and drink that way. 3. The plug in the sink uses a ridiculous, non intuitive system if you want to actually drain the sink. You must put your hand into the water and then press DOWN on the sink to lift the plug up. It took me a while to figure that one out - and I worked for years as a Chartered Engineer. A hotel that choose to us a silly and unfamiliar system should at least put up a notice telling guests how to use it. 4. It was not possible to escape the canned music in the public areas, not even at breakfast time. Surely we can be spared that kind of assault on our senses at least first thing in the morning."

"We stayed here in June it was a beautiful location right on the beach the hotel it’s self was old school but it is run by a lovely family. It was clean and all the linen and towels were fresh. Would definitely recommend renting a car as it is not very close to any big towns or supermarkets. The breakfast was basic ham, cheese, eggs, cereal, and bread. It’s not very touristy so it was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend!"
