The staff is absolutely lovely, they’ll make reservations at the baths (the peel and wrap is a trip) and have spa bags (robe & towel) for rent, and I really like their single rooms (#209) - the balcony and hallway make it seem much larger. And the bedding is wonderful."

"Villa Eden is perfectly located just 20 min drive from Bolzano airport. It’s a 2 hrs direct flight from London Gatwick with Skyalps which makes it a very convenient journey. The ambience truly envisions heaven on Earth with the Lily Pond being my favourite place in the entire hotel, whether it was for a sauna with a view, a morning workout with a personal tutor or just chilling. My Suite was spacious with a walk-in wardrobe and all brand-new state of the art furnishings and facilities. The food quality was top of the top as it all came from their own garden or from local farmers. The service and presentation was like a theatre which made every dinner a fancy experience. SPA treatments surpassed all my expectations as they lasted for 2hrs and included a full body massage with experienced therapists. I came back home with a comprehensive balanced day by day diet by Dr Emanuele di Nobili who did all his best to ensure I keep on eating healthy at home adding all the missing micro-nutrients to my menu. I’m looking forward to come back to Villa Eden next year."

"We wanted to do some wellness, but unfortunately there was only a whirlpool and a few loungers, as well as a sauna and a steam bath. It wasn't what we had imagined. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is new, and it's obvious it's lacking some flair. Free parking is available. Wi-Fi reception is very poor in the rooms. It's a shame."

"Quaint and beautiful old hotel in a residential area 15 mins from Merano centre. The rooms are a good size and clean and hotel facilities are very good. The staff were excellent, and a special mention for housekeeping who were very thorough and efficient. Breakfasts were superb, with everything you could imagine for a fresh continental, including fizz! The one downside was, that because the rooms do not have air conditioning, we needed to keep the windows open as it was so hot. This meant that noise was an issue quite late into the night, and early morning (particularly from the many motorbikes using the nearby road)."
