"The location is very good. It is just about 300 metres from the train station. From my apartment (217), I had a view of moving trains as the property is located close to the rail lines. It is just in the centre of Metz City, close to supermarkets such as Carrefour, Match and the rest. The facilities worked very well throughout my stay with the exception of the heater in my room. I improvised with the heater in the rest room. The interior is very neat though the exterior can be better. The staff mind their business but assisted when approached. I asked for an extension of 2 hours beyond the checkout time to relax before the scheduled time of my train to Paris and it was approved without stress."

"This is a budget hotel, so our expectations were already very low. But this hotel was at a level I didn't even know was possible below. We had booked two rooms. Both smelled of cigarettes. The rooms were hotter than the sun itself. I have nothing against shared toilets/showers, but these were extremely dirty. The bedding hadn't been washed since the last time, and when I tried to fall asleep, I felt something on me. I turned on the light and saw several insects crawling on the mattress. We had booked this as a stopover for a longer journey. By then it was night, and we just left without sleeping. I am not exaggerating when I say these are scenes from a nightmare. And all this in an extremely seedy neighborhood where we didn't feel safe."
