"The hotel environment is fantastic and very suitable for families with children. All the staff are incredibly friendly, and the breakfast spread is rich and varied. It's a Chinese-style villa with its own pool, which I personally really enjoyed. The beachfront is expansive, and the photos taken there turned out beautifully. This hotel offers great value for money.
The photo shoot service at Haibao was excellent. The photographer's skills were top-notch, and everything from shooting to photo selection went smoothly. The day before the shoot, the shop added me on WeChat to arrange the time. On the day of the shoot, they called beforehand as a reminder. The shop was easy to find, just opposite the breakfast restaurant. They had various outfits and accessories to choose from. Our child wore their own clothes but picked out a headband at the shop. The photographer helped us choose great locations that made for stunning pictures and guided our child on posing. Initially, our child wasn't very cooperative, but the photographer patiently guided them. The entire shoot went smoothly, lasting about half an hour. We only had to wait twenty to thirty minutes to select photos, and all pictures were professionally retouched. We could decide how many photos to keep ourselves, and the service was superb!

The commercial street is convenient, but prices at some shops are even noticeably higher than in Haitang Bay. For example, a classic McDonald's trio that usually costs 30 is sold for 54 here. McDonald's and Starbucks are usually good benchmark brands for comparison. In this regard, even though staying in Lingshui might offer better value for money generally, it's worth considering the daily expenses if you opt for a high-value regular hotel. "The room was surprisingly good, and my whole family loved it. The front desk staff was warm and attentive. The young man who helped us was also excellent—quiet but very handsome! He patiently guided us through check-in, helped with our luggage, and even told us which floor the parking was on and where the 'L' level was, which was super convenient for food deliveries. The beach was just a few minutes' walk away, and the complex itself was lovely with great privacy. They even covered our parking fees. I'd feel bad not giving them a five-star rating! "I stayed here three years ago and loved how quiet and wonderful it was, so I decided to come back. Some areas are showing a bit of age, especially that utility pole on the hill – the paint looks like it's peeling off! 😂
The room itself was great, but booking through Ctrip meant I couldn't earn points. 😅 The bed was super comfy, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly. There were hardly any lights shining in, so when I woke up in the middle of the night, I honestly thought I'd gone blind! 🤣🤣
The breakfast offered a good variety, and the taste was decent with good quality, including several local specialties. My only minor complaint is that the cutlery was too small and felt a bit cheap, being plastic.
The hot spring pool was quite deep, which might not be ideal for elderly guests with mobility issues. I really enjoyed the swimming pool, and it was great that they provided free kickboards and back floats for use."

You can catch both sunrise and sunset, and it only takes about two hours to walk around the entire island without getting tired. It's quiet at night, and the scenery is genuinely beautiful. Cons: The room facilities definitely have issues. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the shower leaked, and the sheets and bedding felt a bit damp.
P.S. I wouldn't recommend any of the recommended activities on the island."

Service: On the first day, one room card didn't work. I called housekeeping, and they replaced it. On the second day, my friend and I left separately, and the other room card didn't work either. This is my first time experiencing such service at an InterContinental property 😂😂"

GGuest UserCome on, Lingshui, I advise you not to stay at a seaside hotel... because staying at this guesthouse is just too amazing! I saw videos of beachcombing in Lingzai Village online and came straight here. There's no accommodation there, but this place had good reviews, so I decided to stay. Opening the room door, I was blown away by the aroma! This stay was incredibly satisfying! The room was spotless, and the bathroom had no odor whatsoever. As someone with OCD, I found it extremely comfortable; you can tell the owner put a lot of effort into cleanliness. The room was spacious and well-laid out, without the cramped feeling of a hotel, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner even provided beachcombing equipment for free; you can go beachcombing just 50 meters away and caught lots of starfish and crabs. I'll definitely choose this place again without hesitation! The guesthouse has a refrigerator and a kitchen, and the owner thoughtfully provided seasonings and oil, making cooking very convenient. If I didn't have to go back to work, I would have loved to stay forever.

GGuest UserDisadvantages: 1. The geographical location is extremely remote. Apart from being close to Bianjiezhou Island, which is about 8km away, it is far away from anywhere. You can’t take a taxi or order takeout, and none of the restaurants that can pick you up are willing to pick you up. It’s basically impossible to travel without a self-driving car. To eat seafood, we have to go to Xincun Pier. It takes nearly 2 hours to drive there and back. We have dinner and go out at 6 o’clock, and come back at 10 o’clock.

GGuest UserThe B&B is a pleasant surprise. The environment is very good. The rooms are large and the equipment is new. The seafood porridge for breakfast is also delicious. The most praiseworthy thing is that the boss is really nice. He recommended us to feed the monkeys about 150 meters away from the hotel and catch the sea about 200 meters away. We were going to the pier to take a boat. The boss also picked us up and dropped us off. Go to the entrance of Daidai Island to watch the sunset. LLinglewushuangThe room was pretty good. Although not huge, it easily accommodated both adults and kids without feeling cramped. The balcony sea view was absolutely amazing – sitting there, enjoying the sea breeze and watching the waves was incredibly relaxing. Getting to the beach was super quick, the sand was lovely, and even though the waves were a bit big, my two kids had a blast playing in them. Breakfast was also decent and filling. I'd definitely recommend it; it felt like great value for money. There's a local street not far away with plenty of food options; I'd suggest trying the Northeast BBQ and iron pot stew.

The room was also very comfortable, with a soft mattress and good soundproofing, ensuring a quiet sleep. The room amenities were a major highlight, offering everything imaginable: disposable toilet seat covers, disposable paper cups, soap, disposable razors, and more. This was beyond my expectations for a room at around 100 yuan. The surrounding area is conveniently located with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. My parents had a wonderful trip and a great stay here. They said they'd stay here again next time they travel.

The Haijiao Yihao food stall is highly recommended! To the south lies Gangshanling Scenic Area, featuring a crystal-clear inner sea and a stunning outer sea.
The guesthouse facilities are all new, and the rooms are very clean. The back of the courtyard overlooks the sea, a perfect spot for beachcombing and enjoying the sunset.
The guesthouse service is excellent; they provide beachcombing tools, beach shoes, and bottled water free of charge. When a child accidentally broke a glass, the owner was concerned about whether the child was hurt and didn't ask for compensation.

You can watch the sea and the sunrise from the room, but if you tend to wake up easily, you'll have to be careful, as you can hear the sound of boat motors at 4 a.m. However, the sea view is nice. It's very close to the Tanka fishing raft and surrounding scenic spots, so it's very convenient.

But after coming here, I found that it is actually okay, quite clean, only 20 meters away from the beach, and the sea is outside the window. The children are very comfortable doing their homework on the balcony. The breakfast is simple but filling. For meals, you can go to the pier and take the bus boat to the new village opposite. There is a free shuttle to the pier. The most important thing is that you can avoid the entrance fee to Monkey Island by staying here. You can stop anytime and anywhere to feed the monkeys along the way. The children like it very much. Daidai Island is right next to it. It is very beautiful and suitable for self-driving!
