However, the Nikko in Nagano far exceeded my expectations. The variety of amenities in both the room and bathroom was excellent. The breakfast on the 16th floor, in particular, offered a great selection, fresh ingredients, and delicious, well-prepared food that felt very high-quality – truly a big thumbs up! The hotel's location is also superb. Downstairs is Nagano's dining street; there's even a fantastic seafood restaurant just a 3-minute walk away on that street. It's also only 5 minutes to Nagano Station and 6 minutes to Zenkoji Temple."

The cleaning service wasn't included in the price, which we learned only at the hotel and it was a bad surprise for us. You have to pay extra to get the cleaning service, or leave the trash bag outside your room in order to take it out. I think such information should be added to the hotel/room description in order to make it clear to other guests."
