"It wasn't easy to find the Hotel as it was around the back from the road. Even I am deaf, I can hear a funny noises going on from the hallaway. Cold water tap by the basin is leaking when turn on. Apart of above, everything else was good, staff being helpful because of my deafness and provided me a flashy light and vibrating thing under the pillow ! Breakfast were excellent"

"Sadly the hotel is dated and that’s ok but the room was dirty cobwebs and dirt the curtains are very dirty and the edges of the carpet haven’t seen a hoover in so long there was red blood looking stains on the pillow and the sofa in the room was very dirty .The changing room was so cold after our swim  very unpleasant. this hotel was our favourite so we wanted to go back .but there was so many things that were a simple fix"

"Very clean, shared but extremely clean bathrooms. Next to road, but I ended up sleeping fine as quiet other than this. 2 bottles of water and biscuits snacks, tea and coffee v generous and price excellent. A wonderful Namaste Indian restaurant next door with discount for hotel guests. Great hanging space in wardrobe, comfortable bed, great room temperature. Only thing was I requested hairdryer. Man offsite and said it could be put outside door by morning. I didn't get it, and was slightly concerned about what to do if locked out of room/or if there had been card issue without someone present."

"Beautiful hotel not far from city centre. Staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was large, with twin beds put together, which was unexpected with one duvet over both. I did expect separate twin beds, but it was ok. The hotel itself is full of history, including a knight. I called him Gerald. I would love to have been there longer than the one night so I could fully explore the hotel. We did not use the spa, and again, I would have loved to. We are likely to go back to fully experience what the hotel offers. Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces. Breakfast is buffet style plenty to choose from. No one shows you around just go and help yourself. We look forward to going back."

"The hotel has a history of hundreds of years. When you go to have breakfast, you will find it has a sense of history. You can go for a stroll in the church opposite, which has hundreds of years of history. The entire city is full of hundreds of years old buildings, so you can go out and walk around when you have time. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby, a ten-minute walk away."

"Our stay was wonderful the staff where really helpful considering we arrived at 1.30am after a long 6hrs drive. On the 2 days of our stay staff where accommodating. The only down side is there is only 2 disabled parking space and they are at the rear of the hotel and down a long lane if you require a chair its not ideal and my mother would have struggled with the walk. That is the only thing I can complain about."
