"I've been to Nyon hostel many times and am consistently impressed by their easy-to-use website, swift follow-up to bookings and excellent service once you arrive there. The hostel is a 15 minute walk from Nyon station but there is a very frequent bus service (the 204 Chantemerle) from the station to the hostel. Being close to Nyon station means you have fantastic access to all the tourist or business sites along La Côte, whether you want to go in the Geneva direction (20 minutes by train) or the Lausanne direction (30 mins). The hostel itself has great private rooms with en suites and sunny balconies, as well as the usual hostel shared rooms. These private rooms are about half the price of hotels in the Nyon area...they are spotless and spacious. Sometimes there's a bit of noise from adjoining rooms but nothing to offset the advantages. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay in the canton of Vaud. The staff are very friendly too!"

"Not the first time and definitely not the last. Being it the location in the center of Nyon, the rooms, the restaurant (unbelievable tasty food) everything was perfect!!! But the jewel of the crown was the personnel of the hotel (our little one fell on the floor in the restaurant and they were all very preoccupied and helped us cure him). A special mention for Beatrice who was very professional, very nice with us and especially with the kids!! To everyone in the hotel THANK YOU!!"

"We stayed 3 nights here whist visiting our friend who lives nearby. The hotel is lovely, super clean and comfortable and the staff are so friendly. The lady in charge at breakfast and in the mornings was absolutely brilliant. Breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice from a juicer, great coffee and lots of choice on food and amazing home made yoghurt. We had a suite at the back with a terrace so you could see the lake. Gin bar wasn’t open in the hotel as they have a bar opposite, outside at the park in the summer which had the amazing choice of gins and cocktails (only issue that shut earlier on Sunday and I didn’t get my margarita!) All was perfect. Would definitely recommend."

"Absolutely wonderful hotel, lovely clean and comfortable with the most amazing staff. We happened to find this hotel last minute due to my husband booking a hotel on the French boarder on the wrong date. The hotel we booked was extremely unhelp and so I needed to locate somewhere to stay fast. We had travelled from UK leeds area and so it was late close to 9pm. We found hotel le Rive in Nyon and was lucky enough to get a room Craig got our belongings up from car and we were so hungry Unfortunately by this time the kitchen was closing but the wonderful manager made us the most amazing burgers washed down with the best Rosè. Everything was perfect. We went off to bed had a comfortable sleep with stunning views across the lake. Waking up was bliss I could have stayed in that room and never left. Sat out on the balcony looking at the lake and mountains was the highlight of my holiday and it was all by chance. Breakfast was wondering we sat on the terrace looking across the lake watching the little birds sit at the tables hoping for crumbs. I also left a bag of medicines in my room which they posted to me just going above and beyond Will hopefully return one day soon so we can explore the area as we headed to Zermatt after Nyon and after discussing with the manager we found valuable information out which helped us on our travels. "Stayed here for a week. Location was ideal. Staff were friendly and room facilities ok. Situated near a supermarket and restaurants. Can get Uber delivery as well. Even though it’s a bowling alley you cannot hear anything within the rooms. Would stay again."
