"I travelled with my parents to Nyon at the end of August. We stayed in Ambassador Boutique Hotel. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff and stayed in the spectacular Castle suite on the top floor. The suite is very spacious for 3 people. The view from the room is stunning, with Nyon castle & old town in the forefront and Geneva lake & Alps in the background. If you are lucky, you could even see Mt Blanc and sunrise from the balcony is very nice. The hotel is very well located, 5 minutes from train station and in the old town surrounded by good restaurants. I highly recommend staying in Nyon, when you plan to visit Geneva lake, and definitely stay in Ambassador. I will definitely be coming back."

"I've been to Nyon hostel many times and am consistently impressed by their easy-to-use website, swift follow-up to bookings and excellent service once you arrive there. The hostel is a 15 minute walk from Nyon station but there is a very frequent bus service (the 204 Chantemerle) from the station to the hostel. Being close to Nyon station means you have fantastic access to all the tourist or business sites along La Côte, whether you want to go in the Geneva direction (20 minutes by train) or the Lausanne direction (30 mins). The hostel itself has great private rooms with en suites and sunny balconies, as well as the usual hostel shared rooms. These private rooms are about half the price of hotels in the Nyon area...they are spotless and spacious. Sometimes there's a bit of noise from adjoining rooms but nothing to offset the advantages. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay in the canton of Vaud. The staff are very friendly too!"

"Wonderful Hotel just 10 meters from the lake and the boat station for historical boat trips. Very kind staff. Clean rooms, nice bed and a wonderful view on the lake of Geneva (if room to the lake sided). Some rooms with big balconies to the lake. Food in the hotel restaurant is really good. Breakfast is really generous and very yummy. Will come again!"

"We stayed 3 nights here whist visiting our friend who lives nearby. The hotel is lovely, super clean and comfortable and the staff are so friendly. The lady in charge at breakfast and in the mornings was absolutely brilliant. Breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice from a juicer, great coffee and lots of choice on food and amazing home made yoghurt. We had a suite at the back with a terrace so you could see the lake. Gin bar wasn’t open in the hotel as they have a bar opposite, outside at the park in the summer which had the amazing choice of gins and cocktails (only issue that shut earlier on Sunday and I didn’t get my margarita!) All was perfect. Would definitely recommend."

"Stayed here for a week. Location was ideal. Staff were friendly and room facilities ok. Situated near a supermarket and restaurants. Can get Uber delivery as well. Even though it’s a bowling alley you cannot hear anything within the rooms. Would stay again."
