"The hotel is a bit dated but clean and the staff are friendly. The hotel offers a complimentary ramen which was a surprise and delicious. The onsen is very nice and located on the 5th floor. One thing to point out is that the hotel does not have noise restriction hours. While I’m not a light sleeper, Japanese walls are thin. My room was on the 5th floor so between traffic to onsen, loud speaking Japanese tourists and children running around, the noise level did not subside until after midnight and started again around 5:30am. Bear in mind, I stayed over a holiday weekend so guests visiting on regular weekends may have a different experience."
"Booked a Japanese-style room, only to find that the room has no bathroom, a bit inconvenient, book a Japanese-style room to pay attention.
In addition, I feel that the sound is average, and the room must be very quiet and slowly enter and exit and feel a bit unsafe.
Stay on the 2nd floor, outside is a smoking area.
The room was large and air-conditioned enough.
At night, there are no shops nearby, but the hotel sends free coupons to eat curry rice or beef rice, which solves the dinner problem.
I love the hair dryer in the bath."
"This very homestay style accommodation started some 48 years ago by the grandma. Two of her daugthers, Kaori and Katura now runs this cosy place with about 10 rooms. The stars are the two Akita inu, Haru-chan (father), 7 years old. And his daughter, Hana-chan (6 years old). it will take some time to warm up with them, similar to Shiba inu. We got to spend sometime with both of them during our stay, including giving them some treats, watched Haru-chan drinks ice cream with ice (it was a hot day). Chatted with Kaori and grandma to find out more about them. We had dinner and breakfast which was home cooked style. It has been a pleasant stay. Very friendly and down to earth family. This is highly recommended if you are into Akita Inu and enjoy homestay."
"My husband and I stayed in a twin room, and the bed was big, the room was spacious and bright, and there was a large public bath in the hotel, so it was comfortable. There was a convenience store right in front of the hotel, so it was very convenient and good value for money. If I come here again, I would like to stay here again."
"Hotel is pretty far away from Odate Station about 30 mins by foot. There are buses from the Station to the Hotel if you do not want to walk. Overall the price is reasonable and it is a decent hotel to stay in Odate."
"The counter staff are very good! Very enthusiastic to help! Hotel facilities are also good! The location is a little farther from the station! The food is also very good! The breakfast meal is also delicious! I will come back next time!"
"Hotel room is clean and comfortable. They even give one free entrance to the onsen next door. Staff are courteous and welcoming. Only shortcoming is it is located next to a railway crossing and sound proofing is not perfect. So be prepared to be awaken at 2am in the morning due to train crossing."
