The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they change the toiletries every day. I stayed in room 201, which was conveniently located near the water dispenser and kitchen counter, just outside the door. It was so convenient for me, as I like to buy my own ingredients and cook simple meals while traveling!"

"I stayed for one night. I was able to relax in a Japanese-style room for the first time in a while, but it was tiring to use my computer for business purposes. There is no elevator, so it may be difficult for those with a lot of luggage. The only meal we had was breakfast, but it was delicious. I regret that I didn't include dinner. The bath was not large, but I was able to warm up."

"Located right in front of Beppu Port, this traditional inn has a dated exterior, but the interior isn't too bad. You can see the port from the veranda. I was able to gaze at the ferries as they arrived and departed while sipping my drink. It was a wonderful experience. It looks like there should be a large public bath, but there's only a unit bath. Also, the toilets aren't heated. There's a restaurant attached to the inn, and if you book dinner you can eat there. It also seems possible to book dinner on the day. I stayed without meals this time, but it seems to have a pretty good reputation, so I recommend booking with meals included."
