It was upsetting that they didnt' clean it on my first day and I had to ask it to be cleaned every day. There was a little bit of inconsistency with the service but nothing major. "DO NOT BOOK HERE. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life in hotel. We booked at this location through UNITED to visit our family in Ostrava and there was no disclosure at the time of booking that this location is under construction. We arrived with suitcases and saw the dust and the mess; we had to carry them down stairs ( like 50 stairs). We couldn’t cancel and book somewhere else and thought it may not be that bad. Well we were wrong. The inside of the hotel is completely rundown and dingy. The hallways smell like mold and dust. 2 days in, we leave the hotel for car-drive and when we come back the only side entrance to the hotel was closed and there was no direction on how to enter the hotel. We are left to wonder around the building and couldn’t find our way for a good 30 minutes. We saw a construction worker who was “working onsite” and asked him about the situation, he pointed at the underground garage as the “ new entrance”. I went to the reception to tell the manager about how inconvenient the situation is and she didn’t offer an apology or anything. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I will try to contact UNITED and request a refund."

"I stayed in transit as part of a bus tour. Room 705. It was a typical student dorm. It was winter, so the room was comfortable. The bed linens were clean. There was a hairdryer. The electric kettle didn't work, so I had to use the one in the shared kitchen on the floor. Toiletries were provided, towels were adequate, and the WiFi was good. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, two sausages, bread, sliced ​​ham and cheese, natural yogurt with muesli, tea or coffee with a slice of cake, and apples and pears."

"The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the city of Ostrava but it is well connected to the center via trams or an hour long walk. The rooms are clean and tidy but definitely on the small side, not ideal if people arrive for a long time or with a lot of luggage. The breakfast has all the international staples but also local favorites and the room is tended by some lovely waitresses. The real downside is the gym which is located in a hidden part of the huge wellness area and it is also rather poorly equipped. If a gym fanatic, probably better to consider one of the local gyms for the daily workouts."

"This hotel was located in the center of Ostrava, just a short distance from Masaryk Square. My room had a window facing the backyard, so there was no noise from the street (on the day I stayed here, the Christmas market started, so there were a lot of people around the hotel, and there was an ice rink right in front of the hotel, where loud music played). Check in and check out were quick and without any problems. The equipment of my room seemed a bit older, it seemed to me like a hotel room from the nineties, the kind you can see in movies from that time. The furniture was older and very simple, the bathroom small, the bed quite soft for my taste. It was clean here. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The offer was wide and everything I had was tasty. The ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant. Hotel and restaurant staff were nice and helpful."

"The stay was good. The location is quite away from main train/bus station and from Masarykovo náměstí. With tram 13, you can come quite close to the hotel. The room was quite good, but building a bit old. Area surrounding the hotel: not that many supermarkets and restaurants in close vicinity, but if you walk a bit you can find some restaurants cheap and with good food. Surrounding area mainly Czech speaking, but friendly with foreigners and communication possible with Google translate. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cleanliness: good."
