Family Hotel Pagus - All Inclusive ★★★★

"We were there during the May Day holidays because there is a good cycling destination. The room is solid, the cleanliness is OK. The room is too warm and it is difficult to regulate the temperature. The outdoor air conditioners are loud. The staff at the reception are friendly. The problem is for cyclists because they do not have a specially designated place to store bicycles. They did accommodate us and found an empty space, but it is busy in the summer. This is a big minus for the current times and for such a destination. We had the all-inclusive option. The afternoon snack is quite poor, the buffet selection of food for main meals is not even close to the level of a 4-star hotel. The dishes are served only on ceramic trays that are not exactly heated to 60°C (if at all) and the food gets cold very quickly. Most of the time we had to eat cold meat and side dishes (potatoes). It is inconceivable that such a hotel does not serve dishes in dishes that are in hot water. The food is mostly quite tasty, but this is not enough for a good rating. The kindness of the staff in the dining room below the level. The beach is very beautiful but it is unclear why some trees are not planted for natural shade. There is more than enough space."

"The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a beautiful location. Breakfast is simple but perfectly fine. The pool is small but boasts a stunning location. The room was basic but adequate, featuring a lovely balcony and a fantastic sea view."

"This is a small local hotel but what makes it special is the staff. From arrival to departure, all of the team are engaged in ensuring guests have a lovely stay- from letting us check in early as the room was ready, to local restaurant recommendations, sightseeing tips and even proudly explaining all the local specialities to try at the breakfast buffet. Breakfast was delicious! Easy stroll to the main square. Oh and the entire place is spotlessly clean. One of the nicest hotel stays we have had. "

"Dined with family of 5 2 of us ordered burgers. 1 burger came cooked and one was pink inside. I told the waiter that my burger was still raw and i will not be eating undercooked pork as well pretty obvious its dangerous and i wouldnt want to spend my holiday with food poisoning. He then tried to tell me “no its fine to eat, everyone serves their burgers like this around here”. My question is how come 1 burger came out cooked and 1 is raw when everyone serves it the same? Then i sent it back obviously when i saw the chef try to re-heat a already cut and built burger to cook it more and the waiter brought it back like he just done a great job. For my suprise the burger was still pink all inside… kitchen laughing, server had no idea where he was at, and they didnt understand why i dont want to eat a raw burger. Obviously they never heard of e. Coli or how food poisoning happens. Being a chef for 10 years definitely makes eating out difficult. Specially when you have chefs that more likely to kill someone than to feed them. Of course no compensation was given even tho the food was taken back as it was brought out as the chef said it was perfectly made. Great job hotel!"
