The Library Hotel Wellness Retreat ★★★★

📍 Anexartisias 3, Kalavasos

"Our ten days at the Library Hotel in Kalavasos, Cyprus, were absolutely wonderful. It was a nice change from the hustle of city life. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home. The sound of the water in the pool and the chirping of the birds made the atmosphere extra relaxing, something we really enjoyed. After a busy day of exploring the island, it was lovely to come back to our hotel. We were especially charmed by Mary, the cleaning lady, whose smile brightened our day, and Ariadna, who treated us like old friends. Ariadna's kindness and helpfulness were truly appreciated, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making our stay special. The village of Kalavasos was also a pleasant surprise. With its cute shop, cozy cafe, and traditional taverns, it felt like a place full of peace and charm. Cats were everywhere, making it even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful getaway.""

"Had an amazing holiday. The hotel is lovely. All staff are very polite and work very hard. The hotel is spotless. Pool is huge, bit cold as you walk in but then it's fine. Rooms are lovely we had a sea/pool view room.. Waiters constantly coming round the sunbeds to see if you want drinks. The food is stunning. The best All inclusive food I've ever had. The freshly made omelets for breakfast are delicious. We went to al a carte which was very nice. There's nothing really in the area just a supermarket, but if you want a relaxing holiday this is the hotel to come to. We will definitely return."

"The hotel is in a good location, the stuff is friendly. The outdoor pool is still a little too cold. Food is ok, I wish full board would be as all inclusive and not only meals. Spa is nice. Food on lunch at the restaurant (not buffet) was great!"

"Typical hotel to host foreigners for whom parties, music, games are prepared... It's good because it doesn't affect the rooms"

Atlantica Miramare Beach

Atlantica Miramare Beach ★★★★

📍 Potamos Yermasoyias, 11, Amerikanas Str, Germasogeia

"The hotel is located on the promenade in Limassol although not very close to the marina area near which all the activity centers in the evening are located. At the same time, there is a convenient bus line No. 30 that travels along the entire boardwalk and is easy to get to the marina and reaches the final stop at the mall in the port area a little outside the city. Back on the same route. There is no reality in this mall and in Cyprus in general. The hotel is located right on the waterfront, there is a pool for adults, a pool for children and a pool for toddlers and an indoor pool where the water is too cold and there is also an air conditioner. At the entrance to the sea there are small and large stones and for those who are not used to it, it hurts and you can get injured. Therefore, it is recommended to wear rubber shoes or enter the water on top of the plastic dock that reaches deep. Arriving at the hotel in Larnaca is possible by taxi which costs about 50 euros. The most economical way is to take the shuttle bus which costs 10 euros per person, less for a child. Buyer's card in the archway near the exit of the terminal on the left. Get off at its first stop in Limassol called St. Raphael and from there take bus line 30 with a journey of at least 10 stops. Costs 1.5 euros, pay the driver. Get off in front of the entrance to the restaurant called "The Garden" in English, ask the driver. Continue walking about 40 meters and turn left in the alley leading to the hotel, there is a sign. The hotel looks nice mainly in the public areas, lobby. The rooms are smaller, simple and understated furniture, nothing fancy. The safe could not be opened, maybe for a fee. There is a kettle with coffee. small fridge. Wired internet computer connection, for a fee. The breakfast is fine, no changes. There is what is needed for the Israeli menu, I was missing white Greek cheeses and types of pastries. The hotel is suitable for adults, couples and those who want peace because there is not much to do in it and in the area, apart from relaxing and swimming in the sea or the pool. The hotel has breakfast and it is also possible to pay lunch for 23 euros and dinner for 28 euros, not including drinks. free water Returning to the field in Larnaca is possible by the same route, line 30 to St. Rafael and from there the shuttle to the airport. There is no reality in duty free there, the price is the same as abroad and in Israel."

Lazaros Stonehouse ★★★
"I chose to stay at Lazaros Stonehouse based on the photos and descriptions on their website, which gave the impression of a charming and peaceful accommodation with a warm atmosphere. After a business trip in Limassol, I decided to spend a few days in early September 2025 in Pano Lefkara to experience the traditional culture of Cyprus. I had selected an upstairs room through the website. Upon arrival, there was no personal reception — instead, I was instructed to call a phone number. While this worked fine, it didn’t feel very welcoming or personal. The owner remotely unlocked the front door via an electronic system, and I was told to pick up my room key from behind the reception desk, which remained completely unmanned throughout my stay. I noticed all the room keys were still hanging there, suggesting I was the only guest — not the most comforting feeling when traveling alone. I proceeded to my room upstairs. The entrance consisted of two wooden shutter doors with glass behind them. While the wooden shutters could be locked, the locking mechanism didn’t feel very secure. The glass doors provided little to no privacy, as anyone could easily look into the room. Contrary to what I had hoped, there was no private balcony — only a shared rooftop terrace. Unfortunately, the view was quite unpleasant: a large construction ruin right next door, with some parts boarded up due to potential structural danger. The room itself was underwhelming. There was a single wardrobe without shelves, no surface to place or open a suitcase, and a fridge that turned off whenever you left the room — not very practical. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, though the size of the bed left very little room to move around in the small space. The bathroom was in poor condition. The toilet seat was loose, the tank took about five minutes to refill after flushing, and the silicone sealant in the shower area was worn out. It also took a long time for the water to heat up. Additionally, the sink was clogged upon arrival, though I must say the owners responded quickly and resolved that issue the same day. In short, while the location is quite good and responses to issues are prompt, the room itself left much to be desired — especially for anyone considering staying with more than one person. I found myself leaving early in the morning and returning late at night just to avoid spending time in the accommodation. After two days, I had seen enough of the area and decided to check out a day earlier than planned and continued my trip to Ayia Napa."

The Library Hotel Wellness Retreat ★★★★
"The location is fabulous, in a very picturesque village & opposite the church. There is a restaurant on site, but also a great taverna literally 1 minute walk away. The hotel restaurant did a set menu, the soup & dessert was very nice, the main course was ok & the breakfast was good. The room was lovely & comfortable. Fridge, coffee/tea provided & kettle, but no milk. There is a unique feature to this room, whereby the lift opens with access directly to the room. There is a lovely courtyard & a plunge pool, which would be great to use through summer. All staff were very polite & helpful. We tried to book spa treatments over a week in advance & were informed on numerous occasions someone would call to confirm. Only to be told a day before arriving, they could not accommodate our request. This is the only thing we were disappointed by."
