"This is my go-to hotel every time I visit Changsha! The location is absolutely fantastic! The hotel staff are incredibly warm and attentive, and they're quick to resolve any issues. The room facilities are complete, clean, and hygienic, and the large screen projection is amazing for watching content. Many popular local snacks and delicacies can even be delivered right to your room – super convenient and fast!

"We, two adults and two children, opted for a standard room. The two beds were combined into a large one, which was perfect for sleeping. Downstairs, there's a noodle soup place and also small eateries. The Wuyi Square Metro Station is right outside, making the location incredibly convenient. The hotel staff were very attentive and meticulous, offering recommendations for attractions and travel tips. You could genuinely feel their dedicated service. The only area for improvement would be to kindly remind other guests not to smoke in public areas 🚬, helping to maintain a shared pleasant environment. I wish the hotel thriving business!"

"Overall, it was good for me. The room type that we chose is just standard for us. The lady from the front office actually recommended that we can upgrade the room as we brought 4 big pieces of luggage, but we were okay with the one we booked. If you arrived earlier, you can actually store your luggage in the hotel earlier.
I don’t have the picture of the place and my room, but I guess this is a refurbished apartment that has been turned into a hotel/inn. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes right below the apartment.
The food and drinks here are delicious and nice. The lady from the front office was friendly too!"

"I'd say this is the best value-for-money hotel I've experienced at this price point. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a stunning river view. The place was spotless, and it even came with a spacious balcony. In the evenings, the balcony caught a wonderful breeze, making it incredibly refreshing to sit out and enjoy the night view with a drink in hand – truly relaxing. We brought our little one along, and they absolutely loved it too! I'll definitely be choosing this place again for my next visit."

"Our room was on the second floor, accessible only by stairs. As a mom traveling with a baby, this was quite challenging as I had to carry luggage up first, then go back down for my child. The trash bags provided in the room were of very poor quality; they kept slipping down into the bin every time I put trash in, which was quite annoying. The projector was also problematic; the image was always crooked when turned on, and I had to manually adjust it every time. Both the projector and the Wi-Fi router were positioned directly above the bed. At night, the Wi-Fi's indicator light was constantly flashing above my head, which really disturbed my sleep. I hope the hotel can address these issues in the future. The view from the room was exactly as shown in the picture, and it was quite beautiful, especially at sunset 🌇 in the evening."

"Staying at the Ramada by Wyndham Changsha South was truly a delightful experience during my trip to Changsha! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed had just the right firmness, ensuring I slept really well. The biggest surprise was having a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) right downstairs – super convenient for a quick visit. The surrounding transportation was also excellent, with the metro station just a few minutes' walk away, making getting around a breeze. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Changsha! Highly recommend!"

"The night before, I booked the Hilton Changsha Shimao through the Hilton platform, and the experience was utterly terrible. The soundproofing was awful. I was woken up at 3 AM by noise from the hallway and didn't sleep a wink all night, ending up with a pounding headache.
First thing in the morning, I rebooked at the InterContinental via Trip.com. Miss Anna Jiang at the front desk was incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely warm. I was so touched! She walked me to the elevator, introduced me to the hotel facilities and restaurants. She even pre-warned me that the river view rooms are near the elevators and to let them know if I experienced any noise so I could switch rooms. The concierge staff were also very proactive and helpful; I really appreciate their assistance.
Although the hotel's hardware facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained and clean. The room view was lovely, overlooking the delta where the Liuyang River and Xiang River converge. There's a direct passage to the adjacent shopping malls (Beichenhui/Joy City), making dining and shopping very convenient.
Breakfast here has the best Western pastries among all the international brand hotels I've stayed at in the past few months. It really suited my preferences, and the coffee was made with an espresso machine. There were also plenty of Chinese options, including rice noodles, but the texture wasn't quite to my liking; they were a bit too thick.
Before checking out, I realized I'd left a ring in the room. I called, and they informed me it had already been found and sent to the concierge. It was perfect timing as I was just returning from visiting the Changsha Museum and picked it up on my way back. Oh, and right across from the hotel are the 'Three Museums and One Hall,' which are within walking distance.
For food deliveries, you have to pick them up from external lockers, which is understandable and acceptable to me."

"Overall, I was quite happy with this hotel for my short trip with my best friend. The room had excellent natural light, so it was bright even without turning on the lights during the day. The sofa in the room was really comfortable; it was lovely to curl up on it and watch a movie with my friend. The front desk staff were very welcoming and patiently answered all our questions. The breakfast restaurant offered really fresh and tasty bread. "No exaggeration! Stay once and you'll want to move in permanently 🏠 This place deserves 18 photos, but I can only post a few. The kids seem to really love staying in hotels, it's like a trip in itself. After comparing several options, we chose Huanzhi S this time.
🌴 **Ambiance**: A standalone building with tropical greenery and rock walls, it feels like a secret garden in the city. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, making you instantly relax! There's also a communal sun terrace and gym on the 8th floor.
🌃 **Room**: We opted for the family suite, with two king-sized beds perfect for our two families. The room is split over two levels, allowing for separate sleeping and washing areas without disturbing each other. The TV supports screen mirroring, a robot delivers takeout, and there are kids' slippers and toiletries. The only **bug** was that the downstairs tatami area had no window, and the entrance was a bit close to the stairs, which was a slight safety concern.
🥪 **Food**: I was pleasantly surprised that breakfast runs until 1 PM, and the variety is quite good. You can even get noodles, and the overall taste is great. Afternoon tea and a late-night porridge are also thoughtful touches.

AAnonymous UserI booked this hotel because of its advertised location 50 meters from the subway station, but it turned out to be over 500 meters from the station, all along construction-affected roads, and it was incredibly hot and sunny. There was a large construction site behind the hotel, and the windows couldn't be closed. It's just too new and nothing is fully completed yet. None of my Ctrip benefits were recognized – no breakfast, room upgrade, late check-out, fruit, or snacks. It felt like I couldn't stay there unless I booked through Huazhu. The problem is, even the early booking discount for gold members wasn't as good as the Ctrip price.

The front desk attendant, a lovely young lady at station #2, proactively pointed out nearby attractions and even advised on avoiding peak hours. The smart assistant in the room, 'Xiao Du,' controlled all the lights and AC – a true godsend for anyone a bit lazy! The room's AC kept it nice and warm, and the hot shower was incredibly refreshing after a long day. The laundry room with a dryer and the well-equipped gym were definite bonuses. Excellent value for money!

Tucked away on Sujia Alley's ancient stone-paved streets, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, it's just steps from the bustling Wuyi Square and IFS. Yet, once you step inside, the tranquility of its Zen-inspired courtyard with black brick and grey tiles instantly creates a peaceful escape from the city's noise – truly a gem of quiet luxury.
The room's dark aesthetic perfectly matched my taste, and the goose down bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. They've got all the premium amenities: Dyson hairdryer, smart toilet, LELABO toiletries, and even fresh Baisha Ancient Well water delivered daily for drinking. Enjoying tea with the kung fu tea set really brought out the charm of Changsha.
The 24-hour butler service was incredibly thoughtful, handling everything from luggage to ordering Tea'sa Tea for me and even planning my itinerary. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks were all delivered directly to my room; the abalone breakfast and custom sparkling water were a delightful treat.
What surprised me most was the complimentary travel photoshoot. The photographer guided me through poses, and I received 9 retouched photos plus all the original shots, making for some truly high-end pictures! It's also within walking distance of popular spots like Tianbao Brothers and Tea'sa Tea. After a long day of exploring, returning to the hotel to relax on the terrace, watching the old city's grey tiles reflect the modern high-rises, made the experience absolutely perfect. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Changsha!

AAdora WhitneyIf you’re visiting Changsha and looking for a hotel that’s clean, modern, and full of thoughtful details, I honestly can’t recommend OKDAY Hotel (Wuyi Square South Gate Subway Station) enough. This place really surprised me, not because it’s fancy or over-the-top, but because every little detail feels designed with care.
Let’s start with what impressed me the most: the hygiene standards. I’ve stayed in many mid-range hotels across China, but OKDAY stands out. The remote controls were individually wrapped, which instantly made me feel reassured about their cleanliness. The bathroom even comes with a toilet seat cleaner, something I rarely see even in higher-end hotels. It’s these small touches that make a big difference, especially for someone who values hygiene as much as I do.
The room setup is modern, cozy, and smart. There’s a Xiaodu voice control system that lets you adjust lights, curtains, and even the TV with just your voice, a real upgrade for a hotel at this price point. On top of that, they even provide an Aircon remote so you can control the temperature without getting out of bed (lazy travelers like me, you’ll love this 😆).
Another bonus is there’s a mini fridge in the room, perfect for storing drinks, fruits, or late-night snacks. (They send me a dinner dessert to the room upon check in!) And if you’re staying a few days, they’ve got laundry service available right at the front desk. Just hand over your clothes and they’ll take care of the rest, no hassle at all.
The location is also a major win, it’s right next to the Wuyi Square South Gate Subway Station, making it super convenient to explore Changsha’s main attractions, grab local food, or head out shopping.
All in all, OKDAY Hotel has easily become one of my favorite hotels in Changsha. It’s clean, quiet, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Whether you’re here for business, a weekend getaway, or just passing through, this place delivers way more than you’d expect. 🌙✨

The complimentary goodnight dessert in the evening was fantastic, and they even offered room delivery. The location is also very convenient, within walking distance to the subway, making it easy to get anywhere, and there are many authentic local eateries nearby. The hotel is exceptionally clean, peaceful, and comfortable. Despite being located in the city center, the sleep quality was excellent. I especially loved their custom-made pillows, which significantly improved our rest and made every night deeply relaxing.

Third—and the main reason I would return—is the service.
Every staff member was genuinely kind, attentive, and responsive. No matter what we needed, they were always there, making us feel safe and cared for—almost like having a personal butler at home.
Lastly, a very special highlight:
Since we were traveling in winter with lots of luggage, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the hotel offers free luggage delivery to the airport ✈️. Thanks to this, we could fully enjoy our last day in Changsha without worrying about our suitcases at all—such a thoughtful service!

整体非常干净、安静又舒服，虽然身处市区，但睡眠质量却出乎意料地好。特别想提一提他们定制的枕头，真的大大提升了我们的睡眠体验，让人一夜好眠。
第二是细节与温度。
早上的长沙粉至今仍让我们回味无穷，而在寒冷的冬天，能享用一份免费的下午茶，那份温暖真的让人很感动 ☕️。
第三，也是我愿意再回来的最大原因——服务。
这里的每一位服务人员都非常亲切、有耐心。无论任何需求，他们都会及时回应，让人感到安心与被照顾，就像住在一个有管家的家里一样，贴心又温暖。
最后一定要特别提到的一点：
因为这趟是冬季旅行，行李特别多，没想到酒店竟然提供免费运送行李到机场✈️的服务！让我们在最后一天还能轻松逛完长沙，完全不用担心行李的去向，真的太加分了。

BBingyiI highly recommend Joya Hotel to anyone visiting Changsha! It's a chain, much like Home Inns, so you'll find them all over the city. The one we stayed at was newly renovated, and the service was superb. There's a subtle, pleasant scent when you walk into the lobby. Breakfast was quite generous, and they even offered cocktails 🍸 and mung bean porridge in the evenings. Plus, there are tons of great food options nearby. Thumbs up! 👍

AalexJ2019The service was truly excellent, especially a big thank you to the lady who helped decorate my room with a Christmas tree 🎄. She was very thoughtful. The housekeeping auntie was also very kind.
However, the hotel facilities are really poor, especially the soundproofing. On the first night, I barely slept because of the drunk guest next door. On the second night, the air conditioning suddenly started acting up in the middle of the night, making a super loud noise that startled me awake from my sleep.
Also, even though the hotel has dedicated elevators, they share the building with an office complex. The efficiency is incredibly low!
Overall, my 5 stars are genuinely for the service staff. I definitely won't be staying at this hotel a second time.

GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room rates are very reasonable, and the place is clean. They even offer airport drop-off service, which is a huge convenience! On my previous visit, my flight was significantly delayed, and I couldn't confirm my exact arrival time. Yet, the owner kindly waited up for me until 3 AM! This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely be back!
