"Staying at this hotel for my trip to Chengde was a great choice. The location is excellent, and the large parking lot is a huge convenience, plus it's very close to Wanda Plaza. The hotel itself is quite new, with an impressive lobby, and the complimentary warm tea was a nice touch. My room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and bright, with spotless bedding. The staff were incredibly attentive, caring, and made me feel very welcome."

"Great location just almost across Chengde South railway station. Quiet location as most buildings in front of the station are newly built and are not yet fully occupied. Diagonally across the street are small local eateries. And just beyond those eateries, you can take the local bus no.29 all the way to the final stop(火神庙）and walk to 避暑山庄."

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also fantastic; the food was wonderfully cooked and delicious. Even as a Southerner, I found the flavors perfectly to my liking! The cleanliness was also impeccable. This hotel is undoubtedly the top choice when visiting Chengde, and its number one ranking is absolutely justified!"

"The hotel's facade is a little understated, but once you step inside, the reception area boasts a European-inspired decor. An elevator provides direct access to the rooms, which is very convenient. The rooms themselves were perfectly adequate for our needs. A major highlight is the location: it's incredibly close to the Chengde Mountain Resort, probably just a 5-10 minute walk away. We arrived quite late after a long journey that evening, but the staff were still on hand to help guide us to parking and proactively offered to assist with our luggage. Their service was exceptionally warm and attentive – a big thumbs up! 👍 The only drawback is the lack of breakfast. We had to find our own food, and I personally didn't manage to find any suitable options nearby – though I'm not sure if I was just looking in the wrong places. However, a leisurely stroll around the park directly opposite was genuinely relaxing!"

"Love this place ! Stayed 3 separate times. Once last year and twice this year. Nicest hotel so far in china I’ve been to. Honestly can’t beat this hotel for the price. I went before the 7 day holiday and during it. Was way more expensive during it but still amazing Modern, friendly, great bathrooms, customer service and an insane breakfast Wife mentioned we are repeat customers and they gave us free spa coupon which was great."

"The staff automatically upgraded our room. They allowed us for late check up till 4pm the next day which helped us a lot because our high speed train back to Beijing was at 6:40pm. The hotel is located at the back lane of the commercial street 二仙居。we can get taxi easily in front of the hotel. We stayed there during low peak season, we had good service in the hotel. We loved the free supper served at 9:30pm."

"The Chengde Hotel boasts an excellent location, being close to all major attractions and making taxi rides very convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants, fast food options, supermarkets, and a night market nearby. The front desk kindly upgraded our room from a 1.2-meter bed to two 1.5-meter beds. While the room felt a bit snug with the larger beds, the improved sleep quality was definitely worth it. Much appreciated! We were offered complimentary almond tea on our first night, which was delicious! On the fourth floor is 'Chengde Feast,' the hotel's restaurant, which offers a good selection of dishes. Their renowned lamb soup and 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Lung Meatballs' are even available at breakfast, so you can save space when ordering dinner and try other specialties. The staff at Chengde Feast were incredibly welcoming and considerate, offering helpful dish recommendations. We enjoyed dinner there on both evenings and were very satisfied! When we returned from sightseeing on the second day, our room had already been promptly cleaned. The unlimited mineral water was a fantastic perk! Upon check-in, I connected with the front desk via WeChat, and they immediately sent useful local information and sightseeing route suggestions. As I didn't require further assistance, I didn't get to experience more of their personalized one-on-one service. If I had to point out a minor drawback, the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was good, but the shower stall was too small to hang clothes or towels. We had to place them outside the shower, which was quite inconvenient for a twin room. I would likely choose Chengde Hotel again on my next visit to Chengde. I hope the hotel's service truly prioritizes guest satisfaction rather than simply aiming for good reviews. The 'Weng Yuda mailbox' in every room already reflects their commitment to service, so simply maintaining their high standards would be perfect."

"Hotel located very good spot close to the resort. Also close to many shopping malls. Room is clean spacious. We had two rooms and two bathroom very comfortable service. Also very good breakfast also have many varieties. The only complaint is smoking. There’s no way you can avoid smoking smells come into the room And the Chinese seems like All smokes."
