"The service here is excellent, and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. Although some rooms are a bit small, they promptly helped us switch to a larger, more comfortable room after we spoke with customer service. When we mentioned the shower water temperature wasn't quite right, they immediately adjusted it for us and even proactively arranged an additional room, showing great efficiency in problem-solving. Given the price, the facilities are practical rather than luxurious, but the rooms are clean and tidy, making for a very pleasant stay overall. Any issues we had were resolved quickly, and the hotel's location is fantastic for easy travel. I'm very satisfied and would definitely recommend it!"

"I booked this hotel for a friend's wedding in Chengde. The location is excellent, close to everything. The night view from the room was beautiful, and the most comfortable part was the mattress – it was just the right balance of soft and firm. The front desk service was absolutely amazing! They helped me with a late check-out the next day and even offered to drop me off at the South Station. Such thoughtful service! I left in a bit of a hurry and forgot something at the hotel, but the front desk even helped me mail it. "

"New hotel, with spotless facilities and friendly staff. It's very close to the Chengde South Station, which is handy for high speed trains - though is a bus ride or taxi ride away from downtown Chengde and the Mountain Resort area. (Bus 29 takes you down there, but takes a while). Breakfast was good, and there are snacks in reception wheel you come back. The restaurant is only open in the morning - no bar/other facilities, but there are places to eat/shop nearby, though the area feels very new and developing. It was a great choice for me as I came in and out of Chengde South Station and I used the hotel as my base."

"The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. They contacted us in advance and provided concierge service throughout our stay. The room was spacious, breakfast was varied and plentiful, and there was a free tea room. Both above-ground and underground parking were available, and the hotel was very close to the Chengde Mountain Resort. Drinking water and other amenities were well-stocked, and there was a wide selection of pillows to meet different preferences. They even left handwritten notes and a small souvenir when we checked out, which showed great attention to detail. Overall, highly recommended and excellent value for money!"

"Very satisfied. Because it was the off-season, the price was very cheap, making it excellent value for money.
The hotel opened in October 2025. The lobby smelled wonderful as soon as you entered. The rooms were large and clean, and the bedding was very comfortable.
I ran into the same female staff member several times; she was always smiling, which made me feel happy.
The breakfast was also quite delicious.
There is a large private parking lot, suitable for those driving. Just remember, the road outside the hotel is a one-way street, friends! There's a sign at the parking lot entrance, but I didn't notice and drove the wrong way (⩌ - ⩌ )."

"The room facilities are quite old and business-style. The bathroom is old and not very clean. The hotel's soundproofing is poor, which is a significant minus. The front desk service was okay. Upon arrival, there were no rooms available, so they adjusted the room and let me move in directly. The room had a bathtub, but I didn't use it. I had to stand in the tub to shower, which was not very convenient. For the price, I don't think the value is good.

The surroundings are also very convenient, with a supermarket and several eateries located right next to the hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the practical amenities provided. The availability of a washer and dryer was especially useful for travellers.
Overall, a well-located and comfortable hotel with excellent convenience for both leisure and family travellers. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chengde."

The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. GGuest UserWe hiked the Great Wall of China from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and chose this hotel to rest after the day. The accommodation is ideally located, right next to the entrance gate to the Wall. The host was very welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the beautiful photos you see of his establishment were taken by the host himself! Since we were there during the off-season and most shops were closed, the host offered to cook dinner and breakfast for us. He is a delicious cook. He also offers taxi services and was able to take us to Gubeikou train station the next morning for our return trip to Beijing. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful stay in Jinshanling and would gladly return!

XXimaokevinThe restaurant boasts vibrant, healthy potted plants, with no dead leaves or debris at the base, and they're on wheels, making it easy to move them for sunlight without leaving marks. The courtyard offers four slow-charging stations for electric vehicles. The parasols have three settings and a temperature display for convenient use and adjustment. The most amusing part was watching their plump geese waddling around the patio after a good meal, looking very proud. The proprietress is an excellent cook; the breakfast noodles are handmade. The owner mentioned that his mother and wife are constantly busy, very diligent, and almost have a slight obsession with cleanliness. It was truly harmonious to stay here briefly. Jinshanling Great Wall is also a place I'd love to hike again.

The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and they offered a selection of pillows to suit individual preferences. The room was generously stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks, which were replenished whenever we ran out. The provided tea selection was excellent, and in the evening, we had a complimentary matcha experience delivered to our room, which we could prepare ourselves. The service was exceptional; a dedicated butler was always on hand to assist with any needs. The bathroom amenities were also high-quality and very pleasant to use. All these thoughtful touches created a truly special and refined experience. They provided comfortable pajamas in the room, perfect for wearing directly to the hot spring baths – a truly considerate detail. Overall, my child absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. We definitely want to visit again.

GGuest UserI've been here many times. There's free afternoon tea in the afternoon. The little girl at the front desk is very efficient and there are free drinks. The room service is also very responsible and clean. It's very close to the Summer Resort. There are also shopping malls nearby. Every time I come here, the experience is good. I will always come to this hotel. It's a chain hotel, so I feel very relieved. There is also a lounge, which is great.

GGuest UserWe stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters.

The staff was really helpful and friendly as well. As for the room it was spotless and even though we got given a smoking room it didn't smell. All in all pleasant experience.

GGuest UserLocation: Relatively superior. There is a river in front of the hotel, which is said to be the mother river of Chengde. It is very beautiful to take a walk at night and enjoy the night view. It's easy to walk to the summer resort. There is a supermarket next to it and a restaurant in the hotel. I eat three meals a day in the hotel. The dishes are rich and the prices are acceptable. I highly recommend it.
Service: The smiling service at the front desk was very friendly and enthusiastic. The Chengde travel guide was clearly explained. If you don’t know the guide, just ask them directly. I told them the wifi password and phone number, and if I have anything to talk to the front desk.
Room: Very clean, the quilt smells like sunshine, the bed is comfortable, I slept until dawn
Parking: There is a parking lot and a responsible security guard.
Environment: The hall is very elegant, beautiful, quiet and comfortable. It is really good to listen to piano music in the lounge hall.
Overall: I am very satisfied with my stay. I will stay here again next time. I recommend it.

GGary Ong Wei KiatAbsolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

GGuest UserTraveling with my parents and kid, staying at the foot of the mountain was super convenient for climbing the Great Wall, and we could park our car right in the hotel courtyard. The room was quite clean, though some of the facilities were a bit old. However, you could tell it was built with high-end hotel standards in mind. The ladies who helped with our luggage after check-in were all very welcoming, and the restaurant food was quite good (chef, your cooking is delicious, just a little less salt next time please!). Breakfast was decent. For families with kids, I think this is an excellent, hassle-free choice.
