"Great location! It's right next to the resort, so you can just walk over. Plus, being in the city means easy access to restaurants and places to explore. The service was excellent. The staff were warm, generous, and incredibly attentive. We asked for directions to a restaurant, and they were so worried we might get lost that they actually walked us part of the way! I've never experienced that before, and it was truly touching. One of the main reasons I choose Atour is their pillows – they're just like home, guaranteeing a perfect night's sleep. The room was spotless and well-equipped. And when we checked out, they even gave us a few bottles of water for the road! I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"Our stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to a bus stop, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. The room was spotless and tidy, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable that I slept soundly all night. The front desk staff were warm and efficient; check-in was quick and smooth, and they even kindly gave us tips on local attractions. "So clean! I won't even go into the location or the hotel's views – the scenery, where Emperor Qianlong once studied, is truly picturesque. My parents spent the entire morning just enjoying the courtyard. I think the highlight of this trip was definitely the hotel's scenery. The breakfast isn't as lavish as a standard five-star hotel, but it has everything you need. The vegetables were incredibly fresh and clean, which made me feel very comfortable eating them! Finally, regarding the service, the two ladies at the front desk were so enthusiastic and attentive; it truly felt like a home away from home. My parents even want to go back and stay for a few more days for a vacation!"

"The room facilities are quite old and business-style. The bathroom is old and not very clean. The hotel's soundproofing is poor, which is a significant minus. The front desk service was okay. Upon arrival, there were no rooms available, so they adjusted the room and let me move in directly. The room had a bathtub, but I didn't use it. "I stayed at the Puning Hotel for two nights and three days, and it was an amazing value. The hotel has a traditional Chinese garden style, making you feel like you've stepped into a secluded paradise. On the rooftop, I enjoyed coffee, a gentle breeze, mountain views, and the sight of the Chan Temple – a perfect blend of classical and modern. Traveling solo, I visited museums, paid respects at the Chan Temple, explored the local market, and even fed the hotel's pet deer. It was a beautiful way to enjoy some leisure time away from my busy work life. The front desk, room service, and dining staff were all excellent, and the owner was very kind. "Brilliant location for visiting the Chengde Mountain Resort. The hotel is located just on the other side of the wall of the park and is at a quiet corner 200m from the entrance. Very convenient for an early start to avoid the crowds. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff at hotel. Room is good size and spotlessly clean. Many good local eateries within a short walking distance for excellent food at very reasonable prices"

"I stayed at this hotel again, and the overall value for money is still excellent. The price was just right this time too. The lovely lady at the front desk was so thoughtful and arranged a high-floor river view room for me. The night view along the river with all the lights on was absolutely stunning! The room had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were incredibly good. I asked a staff member and found out they use Peter Thomas Roth from the US – super high-end and effective. The room was just as clean and tidy as before, and the soundproofing was excellent. There's a laundry room on the first floor, and the front desk staff even helped me with my laundry, which was fantastic. I also used the gym on the second floor for a quick run. Since I had an early train to catch the next day, the front desk thoughtfully contacted me and said I could go to the restaurant 20 minutes early. The restaurant staff had everything prepared for me, and it was a very hearty meal. The entire hotel is superb; it truly feels like a home away from home, or like meeting an old friend. They even gave me a bottle of water when I left, just like last time. Five stars, definitely ten out of ten!"

"The hotel has a main building and another annex building behind it. The facilities may be a bit older than the newly renovated hotel. I saw a comment saying that the bathroom inside still has a bathtub, so I specially chose a room type without a bathtub. The room is also clean. The location is very good, just opposite the entrance of the Summer Resort, Lizheng Gate, and next to it is a large shopping mall, Jinlong Plaza. There is a RT-Mart supermarket in the basement of Jinlong Plaza, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. The bus from Chengde Distribution Center to Jinshanling Great Wall is just opposite the Lizheng Gate parking lot. There are various buses at the entrance of the hotel, going to Chengde Museum, Little Potala Palace, and Puning Temple."

"承德皇家园林希尔顿欢朋酒店 We stayed for 2 nights. It located from railway station for 15-mins walk. The hotel was new & everywhere was clean & tidy. Hot showering water was ready all the time. The best things were their breakfast where staff Ms 崔& the site officer were very caring & active serve every guest, eg. offer sweeten fungus dessert to help our thorat comfort etc, . The diversity & taste of breakfast was far beyond expectation. Self laundry was good as it did. The worst thing was smoking smell often caught our nose inside lift even prohibition notice posted up! I would come again next time without second thought."

"Staying for two extra days gave me an even better experience and understanding of the hotel. First off, the bed was incredibly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm. The 1.35-meter wide bed was perfect for a refreshing sleep. If they could swap out the pillows for buckwheat ones, it would be even more considerate for older guests. The toiletries were excellent too. I especially loved the scent of the shower gel – it smelled amazing! They even thoughtfully provided body lotion. Big kudos to the housekeeping staff; they were incredibly prompt with cleaning. I never had to ask. Even with my late departures and early returns, the room was always spotless when I got back – it really won me over. The hotel's location is another highlight. It's super close to all the attractions, making city walks incredibly pleasant and convenient. Next time I visit, I'll definitely choose this place again. It's versatile – offering both proximity and distance, and a great mix of amenities and comfort."
