"Facilities: Standard hotel facilities, well-equipped and convenient. They have their own parking lot with an attendant to help you park.
Environment: Although it's in a busy area, it's very quiet, and the surroundings are very convenient. Taxis, in particular, are very accessible and inexpensive, so you don't need to drive to attractions. Attraction parking lots are often too small and inconvenient for self-driving.
Service: Very attentive, any issues were resolved immediately. The hotel restaurant, especially, has great food; we ate all three nights at the restaurant on the fourth floor. Breakfast was also very rich and varied."

"The hotel has taken in stray cats at the entrance to its backyard, and the staff are warm and caring, which alone deserves full marks. The rooms and public areas are well-decorated, new, and exactly as pictured. The bed is very comfortable, and I personally think the quality of the decor far exceeds that of 7 Days Inn. The location is also excellent, making it convenient for ordering takeout or going out to eat and shop. There is parking and charging stations in the backyard, which is perfect for those driving. The only downside is the smell of smoke and sewer odor in the room (but you can mention it, and the staff will actively help you change rooms). If they could improve the sewer odor and differentiate between non-smoking floors, it would be perfect."

"We arrived quite late, around 11 PM, but the lady at the hotel still came to pick us up from the parking lot. The next day, after visiting the Mountain Resort, it was incredibly hot. Even though it was past check-out time, she still let us go back to shower, so we could continue our journey feeling refreshed. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a two-minute walk from the hotel exit to the ticket office."

"The environment is beautiful, a true feast for the eyes and a perfect place to relax. It's wonderful for some alone time. There's a pool on the third floor where you can swim while enjoying the lush green mountains and trees, as well as the stars in the sky. Outside the courtyard, you can barbecue and fish. Downstairs, there's a mahjong room and a cozy reading nook. I stayed for two days and didn't encounter any mosquitoes. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a wet/dry separation. Looking out the window at the vibrant green trees instantly lifted my mood. You can even see the sky through the roof! There's a bar area where you can enjoy afternoon tea. The noodles made by the owner were delicious, and the afternoon tea was great too. The cleaning lady was very friendly; she even offered to take me on her e-bike to explore the nearby scenic spots if I visit again. When I checked in, it was raining, and the owner drove me to the station. My first impression of Chengde was fantastic, and I'm already looking forward to my next relaxing trip here."

Bright and clean, the corridors display exquisite red furniture, antique clocks, and Chinese and Western art, making it feel like an exhibition center. The hotel service is excellent; you can always find staff to assist you with any requests. The rooms feature mahogany beds and various tables and chairs, reflecting the hotel's high-end status. "This hotel deserves a five-star rating for its front desk service, which was far superior to the treatment I received at the Yage Huanju Hotel in Beidaihe. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, thoughtful, and anticipated all our needs. Although the parking lot is small, the attendants proactively helped us park the car. The restaurant staff were patient and provided timely service. All the hotel staff made us feel well taken care of and right at home. The only drawbacks were that the room was a bit small, and the ceiling height was low, which felt a little cramped. The outer pane of the double-glazed window was quite dirty, likely due to the difficulty of cleaning it."

"This time I came to Chengde to see the ”Dingsheng Dynasty Kangxi Grand Ceremony”, and chose to stay at the Dingsheng Dynasty Store in Yuanman. The experience exceeded expectations and it is highly recommended!
The location is particularly excellent, very close to the Kangxi Grand Ceremony performance venue, it is very convenient to go back to the hotel after watching the night performance, no long-distance running. The room was clean and tidy, the layout was simple and comfortable, the bedding was soft, the sound insulation was good, and the day was running, and I slept very peacefully at night. The bathroom facilities are complete, the hot water supply is stable, and the cleaning is meticulous.
The front desk service is warm and intimate, the check-in and check-out efficiency is very high, and the practical suggestions for travel and play will be intimate. Self-driving parking is convenient and friendly to self-driving tourists. A family of three has ample space and the overall price is very high. After watching the live performance, go back to the residence to rest, and the itinerary is worry-free. Come to Chengde to see the Dingsheng Dynasty performance. This is a very good accommodation choice. I will consider staying next time. I also recommend it to friends who travel to Chengde."

"The environment here is fantastic, especially since it's right next to the scenic area, and being a new hotel, the facilities and rooms are all pristine. It's also very quiet and secluded. The on-site restaurant is excellent too, with spacious private rooms and delicious food, all at a reasonable price. Overall, it's a great place. My only minor complaint is the limited recreational facilities, such as the small soft play area and reading corner. Given the generous space, they could really enhance these areas with some better design."

The B&B is located within the Great Wall Cultural Park, boasting beautiful surroundings and a spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated courtyard. We spent two full days hiking Jinshanling Great Wall, and my child also learned about many plants and animals here. Staying here is perfect for a leisurely exploration of Jinshanling; one night is simply too short.

The owner is very kind; they specially drove us to the Jinshanling Great Wall entrance in the morning, even though it's only a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel. I've been to several sections of the Great Wall, and I've always wished to stay in a hotel where I could see it! Today, that wish finally came true. You can see the Great Wall from the third floor of the B&B! Very comfortable.

Guest UserIt was a hasty decision, but it was a pleasant surprise! Unlike many B&Bs and camping options, this is a hidden gem nestled in a valley, offering a sense of privacy. The entire site seamlessly blends in with the surrounding nature, creating a seamless experience. Speaking of which, a beachfront hotel has a private beach, and here, there's even a private forest! Enjoy the mountain freely, and both adults and children can find their own unique adventure! In just a few days, we enjoyed the convenience of climbing the mountain with our eyes open or closed. And there's a truly amazing barista!
The accommodations were also very comfortable and clean! It was a great place to bring our kids!
Looking forward to the early completion of the private hot spring courtyard!

YangRRThis is my second time visiting Wulingshan, and I chose Lanye Hotel again~ I've been eating breakfast at Shangu (Valley) restaurant, and I'm very satisfied, having eaten there for two consecutive days. I especially love the wild vegetable buns. The hotel was also incredibly thoughtful; knowing I was pregnant, they prepared an air purifier and a pregnancy pillow for me~ They also arranged for a high-floor room, so it wasn't noisy at all. They really put their heart into it!

Guest UserThe room is very clean and new, no smell. All disposable towels and bath towels are provided, which is very good. The only drawback is that the sound insulation is relatively poor. In addition, maybe because the floor is low, the flushing water upstairs seems to make a loud splash in the toilet at night, which is a bit not good. It is recommended to have some clothes hooks in the toilet so that you can put a change of clothes when taking a shower. The overall experience is good and good reviews.

Guest UserI checked into this hotel today, and the environment is absolutely stunning. The garden-style design made me never want to leave. The smart home features throughout the room were incredibly convenient, and I was especially pleased with how clean and tidy everything was. I'd definitely want to stay here again. The service was also excellent; the front desk staff were very warm and attentive. At breakfast, there was a wide variety of dishes, all very distinctive and delicious. Plus, they have both above-ground and underground parking, and even charging stations – so thoughtful! Next time I'm visiting Chengde, I'm definitely choosing Puning Hotel again.

Yanming Lake Hotel gave me the most profound impression during my trip this year. I am very satisfied with the environment and tent room. When we checked in that day, a total of four families stayed in tents. It was very quiet and the scenery was super beautiful. I regretted why I didn’t choose this place on the first day. It was only half an hour away from Ulan Butong. Shortly after checking in that day, it started to rain. There was thunder and lightning, and I even photographed beautiful lightning. You can feel the wind and rain outside in the tent. Then the power went out for ten minutes. Rainwater also began to flow into the house from the cracks in the tent. I was a little panicked at first and asked customer service. The customer service said not to worry, as the rain would be lighter and I could change to another tent. Later I discovered that as long as it wasn’t windy, it wouldn’t matter if it rained (it rained heavily that night, so I slept very soundly). I also encountered a wild deer running wild by the lake. I asked customer service and they said it was not raised by them and it should be wild. You can really reserve a day for Yanming Lake and just stay there. Looking at the endless grassland at the entrance of the tent, you feel so relaxed. The only regret was that it was raining and I couldn't see the stars in the sky. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. The tents here can be said to be the ceiling of the camping industry. Friends who like grasslands and outdoors must come.

It's super close to the train station, with direct underground access right downstairs. The room itself is well-equipped, featuring automatic curtains, a heated toilet seat, a tea set, and an adjustable electric bed.
Breakfast isn't a buffet; it's a fixed set menu. You get a pie, eggs, cold dishes, and you can choose between porridge or noodles.
The underground parking garage is quite narrow.

PablitolocokimI don’t speak Chinese, but the staff there were very friendly and helpful. From checking in to checking out, the front desk staff helped me like a personal assistant. She even scheduled a massage and taxi service. Local guests I met at the hot pools were also very nice and welcoming. This is somewhat old place, but I like places with history. Be aware of the large portion of dishes you get at the restaurant. I couldn’t finish all the dishes as a solo traveler.

Guest UserFirst, the pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Jinshanling Great Wall, which is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The hotel's design is also visually appealing, with individual courtyards forming a small village. The standard rooms are designed in a traditional enclosed style with a courtyard, offering good natural light and ventilation.
Now for the cons: Firstly, some of the staff lack professional ethics (let's not even get into service quality). When we were checking out, we couldn't find a taxi. The concierge told us there was nothing they could do and we'd have to take an unlicensed car. Then, a male staff member offered to drive us for an exorbitant 600 yuan! Keep in mind, ride-sharing apps estimated the fare at just over 300 yuan, and a carpool would have been around 180 yuan! We later found out that there's a convenient tourist bus service at the visitor center near the hotel, which runs daily to Beijing Dongzhimen for only 80 yuan, but the staff deliberately withheld this information! Many international guests stay at this hotel; such responses would be a disgrace to Chinese hospitality! I hope the hotel takes this seriously and rectifies the situation.
Another issue is the hotel restaurant, which is quite a rip-off. The 78-yuan smoked chicken had a thick layer of coriander under it, with very little meat! In short, while the hotel itself is beautiful, the service ruins the experience. I've included photos, both good and bad, so everyone can be aware and avoid potential pitfalls.
