Hotels with Parking in Nanning

"This hotel needs an update. The triple/family room is actually a twin with an extra bed. As such this extra bed does not have conveniently located power points or USB ports that the other two beds have access to. The elevators are placed on two ends of the A and B building, with the lobby being more closely and easily accessed via building A, whereas the building B access to the main lobby (and indeed anywhere, except the back carpark), requires going down stairs. The property is advertised with a ”hello” icon as having experience with English speaking tourists, however, I found this to be inaccurate but the employees were patient and tolerated my half-assed Mandarin. Dining options are all located in Fortune Tower located near the Building B elevators (requiring use of stairs). We opted to try the buffet breakfast. While there is variety, considering the quality of cooking, I find the price of the buffet high. The dim sum restaurant on the 4th floor is quite good, but may perhaps be deemed crude if you compare it to the finesse of some Hong Kong dim sum places. However, for the price/quality ratio, we found it quite good. At the time we visited, they offered a Zhuang tea free, but it was also offered at the buffet hall with even more topping options. There is also some sort of food court on level 2, but we didn't have time to check it out. Even though it is near the hustle and bustle of big shopping malls, once you enter the vicinity of the hotel, the noise of the crowd melts away. One is likely to turn right or go straight from the property to the shiny malls, but we found heading out to the street on the left via the back carpark was a bit more localised. Loads of mobile phone repair shops, a camping store, and eateries that cater more to locals. A twenty minute walk takes you to the riverside. At 7pm, the lights on buildings and bridges come on. The park offers a pleasant wak, but not all the lights work and it can get quite dark. The other streets eg 3 streets. 2 alleys, were too touristy for my liking. Did not even bother with Zhongshan. The biggest plus is the property's location. I would only recommend Nanning Hotel for the convenience. If other factors are important to you, then you'd probably be better somewhere else. As there was nothing remarkable about the room or the hotel, I attach a photo of the nearby river at sunset."

Plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, super friendly for tourists and business travelers alike.” Attentive service: ”The lady at the front desk proactively guided me to the elevator and even saw me into it. The front desk also gave me a complimentary room upgrade and a local wellness herbal tea set as a souvenir.” Comfortable room: ”The bed is huge, and the bedding is so soft it feels like sleeping on clouds. The bathroom is clean and odor-free, ~” ”The price was cheaper than expected, and the parking lot is free and easy to use.” ”Excellent soundproofing, quiet and peaceful at night.”"

"The room was quite spacious, and they thoughtfully provided a separate sofa bed, toothbrushes, and slippers specifically for the children. The hotel's service was excellent; the front desk offered complimentary small bottles of pulpy orange juice or Fanta. In the evenings, there were jelly desserts, and during the May Day holiday, they even arranged morning craft activities for kids to enjoy. Overall, the service was truly impressive."

"Facilities: Overall pretty good. It was around 10 degrees Celsius in Nanning in January, and the AC in the room could only cool, not heat. After I reported it, they explained it was due to the central air conditioning system and quickly sent a space heater (since it's a hardware issue, I suggest making them standard instead of waiting for guests to ask, as it affects the experience). The light and exhaust fan switches for the bathroom are outside the bathroom and around a corner, which is hard to understand... Cleanliness: Good Environment: Good Service: Arrogance was evident everywhere. We arrived at the hotel around 1 PM after getting off the high-speed rail, but the room wasn't ready, and they couldn't give us an estimated time. OK, we waited. They gave us two drink vouchers for welcome drinks at the beverage bar (the tea was teabags, and the juice was made from concentrate). Since it was past 1 PM and we hadn't eaten lunch and didn't have a room, we ordered takeout while waiting for the drinks. A server saw us and aggressively said no outside food was allowed, literally saying, ”This Old Friend Noodle soup smells too strong, but if it were something else, we could *make an exception*!” What? Are guests paying to be disciplined by you? Do we need your 'exception' just to eat? Because they couldn't provide a room or another place at that moment, they eventually dropped the issue. We waited until past 3 PM, and the room still wasn't ready, so we went out to explore. It wasn't until past 5 PM that we received a call saying the room was ready. Good thing we didn't just wait foolishly at the hotel."

"This Holiday Inn Express has a really unique concept! It's conveniently located right next to Nanning's Jiangnan Wanda Plaza, not far from the Yong River. Strolling along the riverside and checking out the Pavilion Wharf in the evening was incredibly pleasant. The breakfast's mini wontons are absolutely amazing – thin skin, generous filling, paired with an iced Americano, it's simply the best! A huge thanks to the front desk staff, Xiao Guan, for arranging a room with a great view for me, allowing me to enjoy the river scenery from my room. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Nanning, haha."

"The room's location is decent. It's not too far from Shuangzi Jing Market, Jianzheng Road (?), and some long-standing noodle shops, but also not right next door. It's about a 15-to-30-minute walk to these places, and similar for the subway station. So, an electric scooter is still pretty essential. It's also a similar distance to Nanning Station and the airport shuttle bus stop, making an electric scooter quite convenient. The room itself isn't small and has all the necessary amenities. Although it's a bit old, it's clean. The bathroom was cleaned regularly, the drainage was smooth, and the hot water was excellent – I used it at 1, 2, 3, and 4 AM on different nights during my stay, and it always worked perfectly. Room cleaning was also timely and thorough. After all, it's an established star-rated hotel, so its foundation is still up to standard and quite grand. The 'Xiao Du' smart assistant was quite useful, and combined with the huge projection screen, it added a lot of vibrancy to the room. Considering it was a National Day holiday, the room rate was reasonable, offering great value for money."

"Friends had recommended Nanning Nanhu Mingdu Hotel to me before, so I decided to stay there for a night during my trip to Nanning. First off, I was very impressed with the service. From check-in at the front desk, to room service, the restaurant, and the pool and gym – everyone was friendly and smiling. The front desk staff, in particular, were professional and efficient. The room itself was very comfortable and clean, with a well-designed layout. The view of Nanhu Lake from the window was fantastic, and the bedding was high-quality, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast selection was extensive, featuring many local specialties like Laoyou Noodles, Luosifen (snail noodles), Youcha (oil tea), and Jianzong (fried sticky rice dumplings)… I recommend trying them all. Additionally, the swimming pool water was excellent – crystal clear, and the temperature was just right, neither too hot nor too cold. It was a real pleasure to swim a few laps. Next time I'm in Nanning, I will definitely choose Nanhu Mingdu Hotel again."

"The high-altitude Shangri-La definitely lives up to its name, located on the 88th floor with unparalleled views. The sky lobby is on the 68th floor. Shangri-La's quality has always been reliable. Room amenities: The room size is generous, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views both day and night. The bathtub is also large, making for a very comfortable soak. Breakfast: The selection is rich, and there are plenty of seats, so it never feels too crowded. The waitstaff provides excellent service. The hotel is connected to MixC on the first floor, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Taxis are also readily available. The BBQ downstairs in the evening is delicious. The only minor drawback was the quality of the bath towels, which could be improved."

"The Marriott hotel is super conveniently located right above a large shopping mall that has everything you need. It's also very easy to get to museums, Chaoyang Square, the train station, and the high-speed rail station via Metro Line 1. The hotel itself seems to have been recently renovated; it feels very new."
