"This is an older five-star hotel, and while the decor is about a decade old, the bed was super comfortable and it was quiet at night, which made for a great sleep. The best part is its fantastic location right in the central business district. Metro Line 2's Exit G is right outside, and it's just a few minutes walk to Sanjie Liangxiang, Zhongshan Road Night Market, and the Yongjiang River. It was incredibly convenient for evening strolls! The breakfast definitely lived up to the standard of an established hotel, even featuring local specialties from Guangdong and Guangxi. They also offer a special morning tea (available for an extra charge, and the hotel provides coupons). Unfortunately, I missed it because I had an early train to catch, but I'd love to try it next time!"

"It’s alright. There is hot water in the shower, and the room is as clean as it can - considering that it’s quite an old hotel, and the furniture (and carpets especially) is showing its age. The biggest problem was the Internet - the wifi barely works (and only in some devices), and if your room is deep inside the building, you won’t be even able to use the cellular data. The only big problem - sound proofing. If there are people in neighbouring rooms, prepare to hear every whisper. Make sure you’ve got ear plugs ready."

"We loved our stay at this hotel. It’s very welcoming, the staff are lovely and helpful. We don’t speak Chinese but the staff confidently helped us using translation tools. The room is beautiful. Very comfortable large bed and great pillows. The bathroom was good. Plenty of storage. Everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good, with a good range of food. The location was convenient to the metro, walking distance to two shopping malls and parks. Beautiful shared spaces in the lobby, nice decor. We appreciated the 1pm checkout time. We would stay again!"

"First time in Nanning, and there were so many hotels and guesthouses in the tourist area, it was hard to choose. In the end, I decided to go with Marriott, which felt more reliable. The price was incredibly good compared to other cities. The breakfast was especially authentic. Fraya Qin at the front desk provided excellent service. Plus, it's directly connected to the mall next door (the Black Tide Tea at that place is delicious!), and you can get straight to the subway station. Vientiane City is in the other direction, and you can take the subway directly from Nanning East High-Speed Rail Station. I highly recommend it to all tourists!"

"I was given an upgrade at check-in, but the shower in the bathroom didn't have hot water for two consecutive nights. I had to call a staff member who would turn on the hot water tap in the bathtub first, then the sink, before the shower finally had hot water. The room facilities are quite old, but luckily the location is excellent, close to the Yongjiang River and Zhongshan Pedestrian Street."

"The room was a bit dated, but exceptionally clean. For a guesthouse, the facilities were perfectly fine, and the soundproofing was actually quite good. I was pleasantly surprised to find electric curtains! The service was standard, and check-out was very convenient. Breakfast options were limited, comparable to what you'd find at a budget hotel."

"This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, I'd give it five stars! As soon as we stepped into the lobby, it felt incredibly clean and bright. The front desk staff greeted us with a lovely smile and were so gentle. Our room was big and spotless, and the bed was so soft and comfortable. Outside the window, we had a beautiful view, and the room itself had a pleasant fragrance. The hotel environment was also excellent, very quiet and peaceful, not noisy at all. All the staff were very polite and always greeted us. The facilities here are also very comprehensive, making our stay feel incredibly secure. I was so happy with this hotel experience, and next time I travel, I'd love to stay here again! This was truly an unforgettable and wonderful experience!"

"For the price of 220, I shouldn't have expected a 4-star hotel, but my overall experience was still profoundly disappointing. While the room had been renovated, it still didn't feel like a true 4-star establishment. The TV screen would flicker every ten minutes or so – a new 'eye-care' mode, perhaps? However, it was clean and hygienic. Although the surroundings were quiet, I found the overall experience quite uncomfortable. After checking in at the main lobby, there were no signs guiding us. We had to navigate through a parking lot and down some steps just to find Building 2. It felt particularly eerie and creepy at night. Adding to this, despite the quiet surroundings, the room's soundproofing was terrible. If children spoke even slightly loudly, everyone on the entire floor could hear. Finally, the service was so poor, I wouldn't even give it a single star. Shortly after checking in, an elder in our group couldn't figure out the AC, so they called the front desk. I was then asked to help. While I was still adjusting it, a staff member came over and asked if the AC was problematic. I told them I had fixed it. The staff member then rudely retorted, 'Even if it's fixed, you should still call the front desk to inform us,' before turning around and walking off. Their ungracious attitude was truly baffling. Is this their idea of a 'four-star standard' – to annoy guests? This is likely the most detailed review I've ever penned, not for objectivity, but because every aspect of this stay deserves nothing more than half a star."

"Service : The reception very helpful , They help to store your luggage in the lock up room. Room: Fantastic view from the room. The aircon is powerful. Bathroom hot water very good. Taking didi very easy. Order food from ******* app very easy and fast delivery to hotel room. Airport shuttle bus service just next to the hotel available every 30 mins. ¥20 each trip. I suggest just take didi if you have 2 or more pp. Didi only ¥50 Con : The reception dont speak English. only 1 very flat pillow for 1 single bed. Only 1 card to a room."
