Breakfast was abundant and varied, featuring many local specialties, and the 'Lao You Fen' (local noodle dish) is a must-try. Although I haven't been to Nanning many times, it often serves as a transit point. When traveling with kids, staying overnight for a rest is a given. Nanning Hotel is located in the city center, which is incredibly convenient for families with children. You have access to food, drinks, and entertainment, all within walking distance, and the subway is very accessible! Most importantly, the service was excellent! Big thumbs up! 👍"

"Our stay at Nanning Marriott was excellent! The location is superb, right above a shopping mall with plenty of dining options. The suite's sofa and bed were both huge, and the two sofas could easily double as beds. The breakfast spread was extensive and definitely five-star standard. This trip involved a large family, and we booked six rooms. We were given great room types and views. Even though two or three rooms were on different floors, we were provided with extra key cards, which made visiting each other's rooms very convenient. A special thanks to Rita and Arthur at the front desk for their genuine thoughtfulness towards guests. We had booked a suite for one day and two executive twin rooms for the following days, but they upgraded us directly to suites for the entire duration, saving us the hassle of changing rooms. We were extremely satisfied with their service. Sally and the housekeeping staff also provided fantastic service."

Although there was a slight wait initially, the hotel's attentive service and the manager's proactive and responsible handling completely made up for the minor hiccup. "For the price of 220, I shouldn't have expected a 4-star hotel, but my overall experience was still profoundly disappointing. While the room had been renovated, it still didn't feel like a true 4-star establishment. The TV screen would flicker every ten minutes or so – a new 'eye-care' mode, perhaps? However, it was clean and hygienic. Although the surroundings were quiet, I found the overall experience quite uncomfortable. After checking in at the main lobby, there were no signs guiding us. We had to navigate through a parking lot and down some steps just to find Building 2. It felt particularly eerie and creepy at night. Adding to this, despite the quiet surroundings, the room's soundproofing was terrible. If children spoke even slightly loudly, everyone on the entire floor could hear. Finally, the service was so poor, I wouldn't even give it a single star. Shortly after checking in, an elder in our group couldn't figure out the AC, so they called the front desk. I was then asked to help. While I was still adjusting it, a staff member came over and asked if the AC was problematic. I told them I had fixed it. The staff member then rudely retorted, 'Even if it's fixed, you should still call the front desk to inform us,' before turning around and walking off. Their ungracious attitude was truly baffling. Is this their idea of a 'four-star standard' – to annoy guests? This is likely the most detailed review I've ever penned, not for objectivity, but because every aspect of this stay deserves nothing more than half a star."

"I think it's pretty good. For a hotel near a train station, it's quite clean, better than I expected. If you have an average budget, this place is perfectly fine. I remember the staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, were very enthusiastic. Staying here as my first stop after landing gave me a good first impression of the city."
