"The environment here is lovely, with beautiful views right by Swan Lake and the mountains. It's also conveniently located within walking distance of Chayu Hot Spring and Baojing Palace Caves. The hotel has several swimming pools, which my kids absolutely loved. It's really great, I highly recommend staying here."
"While the overall environment was decent, my ground-floor room was damp and musty. The soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear conversations from the next room. The air conditioning even on the lowest setting was incredibly loud, which significantly affected my sleep. The toothbrush quality was also poor, with bristles falling out.
Before arriving, I inquired about the mahjong room charge, and was quoted 42 yuan per hour. However, upon arrival, the staff said it was 218 yuan for four hours. Although they honored the 42 yuan rate after I questioned it, I still felt quite annoyed by the whole situation.
Today, during check-out, my charging cable got stuck. A kind staff member in a white shirt and an engineer eventually helped me resolve the issue. I'm very grateful for their excellent attitude and assistance. Five stars for them!"
"Amazing overall! Style, taste, and service were all top-notch! Excellent value for money!
1. We brought our dog, and they provided a high-quality dog bed, toys, deodorant, wet wipes, and even poop bags – so thoughtful!
2. They decorated the room for our dog's birthday for free, which was incredibly heartwarming!
3. They gave us an extra breakfast, both generous and attentive!
4. They personally guided us to our room, explaining the hotel layout and functional areas along the way – truly dedicated service!
5. KTV room, billiards room, kids' play area, private hot spring, meditation room, in-room projector – all available for free on demand… Such great value…
6. The common areas looked exactly like the photos, perfect for pictures, and even had a free Nintendo Switch to play.
7. They have collaborations with local cultural and creative brands, and intangible heritage experiences, offering many discounts…
Highly recommend, I'd definitely go back again!!!"

"The balcony of the room has a direct view of the lake, which is particularly beautiful. The room was clean and spacious. I stayed here and then drove to various attractions by myself. It was comfortable and cost-effective. The hotel staff had a very good service attitude and were soft-spoken. They gave me fruit, biscuits and yogurt in the evening, and also gave them as gifts when I checked out. Our Yinghong No. 9 black tea and Nongfu Spring water."
"This trip to Quanlidu was perfect, and Quanlidu Hotel was the icing on the cake for this journey.
From the moment I arrived at the hotel, it was as if I had stepped into a peaceful paradise. The hotel's unique appearance complements the surrounding natural scenery, and the wooden building structure exudes a rustic and warm atmosphere. The staff greeted us warmly, and the check-in procedures were quick and thoughtful, instantly dispelling the fatigue of the journey.
Walking into the room, I was impressed by its exquisite layout. In the spacious space, the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery outside, like a scroll in front of you. The bedding is made of high-quality pure cotton material, which is soft and skin-friendly, and you don't want to get up after lying down. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, equipped with a smart toilet and high-end toiletries, and the details are luxurious.
The hotel's catering is also memorable. The breakfast is rich and varied, with both local snacks, fresh fruits and vegetables, and exquisite pastries, starting a day full of vitality. At dinner time, the restaurant offers dishes that blend local flavors. The ingredients are all locally sourced and extremely fresh. The chef's superb cooking skills make every dish a treat on the tip of your tongue.
In your spare time, stroll along the hotel's carefully maintained garden path. In addition, the hotel's hot springs are not to be missed. Soaking in the private hot springs, the pores of the whole body are relaxed, and you can enjoy this natural gift to the fullest. It drizzles in the evening, and soaking in the hot springs is another experience.
Quanlidu Hotel truly combines comfort, enjoyment and nature perfectly. It is highly recommended to every traveler who pursues quality life. I believe you will fall in love with it like me!"

"I stayed at the Chocolate Kingdom Hotel in mid-October. At that time, some facilities were already showing their age and seemed a bit neglected, and there were fewer staff members. However, I truly felt their dedication in every service they provided; their excellent service more than made up for any shortcomings in the hardware. We had a hot spring package. The hot springs were less crowded during the day and more so at night, so it was good to go at off-peak times. The package also included two-day tickets to Chocolate Wonderland, and at that time, there was a shuttle cart service. When I went back in December, the shuttle was gone, so I want to warn fellow travelers that if you're not driving yourself, think very carefully before booking, as it's a 20-minute walk from the park to the hotel. But since there was a shuttle service in October, and I genuinely felt their dedication in every service, I'm giving a good review for that stay. For December, I'd give a bad review."

"I was immediately struck by the stunning scenery upon arrival. I could admire the camel-shaped mountain peaks from my bed, and the environment was tranquil and peaceful. The guesthouse was well-equipped, with convenient parking. Nearby attractions included cycling, hiking, and fruit and vegetable picking, offering a genuine rural experience – excellent value for money. The host was incredibly thoughtful, proactively providing information on the best viewpoints and hiking routes for Camel Peak. They also recommended the Camel Peak Station viewing platform, just a few minutes' walk from the guesthouse. Within a 10-minute drive, attractions such as Xiaozhaozhou Bridge, Heshun Karst Cave, and Hongcha Valley are all within easy reach, making travel extremely convenient. I would definitely choose this place again for a summer vacation."

GGuest UserThe ultimate vacation spot near Guangzhou and Shenzhen! This standalone villa boasts its own pool and private hot spring, with three floors spacious enough for a whole family. The butler was incredibly attentive, calling us right after we booked to discuss our needs. Upon arrival, he gave us a tour and introduced all the activities. When we checked out, he even helped us load our luggage into the car. Waking up to the view of lush green rice paddies and falling asleep to the sound of rain was incredibly therapeutic. The infinity pool on the fourth floor offers direct views of the sunset over the peaks – it was so beautiful I didn't want to get out. You can pet the two adorable cats at the hotel as much as you like. The complimentary tickets to the tea garden and campsite were really useful; the campsite also has a few very 'banned' looking but playful dogs! Two days here was just perfect. I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThis famous hotel is the best inn I have ever stayed in. Because the traffic jam came late, I didn’t expect the boss to wait for us at the front desk. I also upgraded our room for free. The most surprising thing is that there are moon cakes and sugar water for us. The lobby manager and the boss are very friendly. I gave my baby a lot of food and balloons, the whole feeling is very good, really worth recommending! (Thank you the innkeeper and staff for waiting for us so late ~)

The overall experience of staying at Yingde Cliff Mountain Residence this time was very comfortable. The ant cave room type is indeed special, the rounded cave design is eye-catching, and the space is much more spacious than expected. The housekeeper service is very thoughtful, and he took the initiative to help carry the luggage, saving some trouble. Breakfast and afternoon tea are also very rich, with texture and grade. Art decorations can be seen everywhere in the hotel, with a sense of design. It's like visiting a small exhibition. It's suitable for people who like taking pictures. I took a lot of life photos~ I can't wait to share them, hahahaha, the castle view with lights on at night is a plus, sitting on the balcony and blowing the wind is very comfortable. The souvenirs given at check-out are also a small surprise, and the packaging is very attentive. It is suitable for people who want a quiet vacation and like design hotels to stay for a day or two.

GGuest UserWhat an amazing place with amazing staff who made the experience that much better. The rooms were everything we could ask for, modern and very clean with great amenities. The private hot spring alone is absolutely worth visiting too. The surrounding area is beautiful too with lots to see and do but would definitely need to rent a car as some things are far away. The staff were incredible in every way. Before our stay I asked one of the staff members called Min if she could order flowers for a special occasion and she did so without hesitation and placed them in the room upon our arrival. She was so helpful and kind throughout the whole stay, telling us the best places to visit and restaurant to go out. She even went as far as helping us order dinner at the local restaurant when we were struggling too due to our lack of speaking Chinese. The breakfast was also delicious as well and the coffee shop where it is served has great coffee and lovely pastries. I couldn’t recommend this place more for a nice weekend away in nature.
MMeiyouyingtaoshimumuExtremely satisfied! The service was exceptional from start to finish. Even before arriving, they answered all my questions thoughtfully. During my stay, they were incredibly responsive to every request, and I even received a parting gift when I checked out. The room facilities were fantastic, and because there weren't many guests, they proactively upgraded my room. The room was well-equipped, and the guesthouse's scenery was absolutely beautiful – it felt like I was living right inside a picturesque landscape. They also provided complimentary tickets to the tea plantation, which is very close by, though I'd say it's an optional visit. It's also not far from the Heshun Karst Cave, so you can easily stop by if you're in the area. Plus, there's passion fruit picking right outside, and the breakfast was delicious!

GGuest UserThe location of this guesthouse is absolutely perfect! It's enveloped by lush bamboo groves, with a gently flowing river right outside and rolling green hills in the distance. The scenery, with mountains, water, and bamboo, creates a picturesque view at every turn. It's incredibly tranquil, secluded, and offers excellent privacy, completely cut off from the city's hustle and bustle. The abundance of greenery is incredibly healing.
The wooden cabin rooms are clean and tidy. The wooden interior feels warm and cozy, the bedding is soft and dry, and the entire room is meticulously cleaned with great attention to detail, making for a truly comfortable and reassuring stay.
The room layout is well-designed and comfortable, with comprehensive amenities. The riverside balcony is definitely the highlight, featuring comfortable lounge chairs and a scenic bathtub. Sitting here, enjoying the breeze and the view, truly sets the perfect mood and makes for amazing photos.
Overall, the experience was fantastic. The environment is serene and elegant, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. It's the perfect place to immerse yourself in a slow-paced, rustic lifestyle, relax, de-stress, and unwind. It's my top choice for a getaway, and I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserAn incredible gem of a boutique hotel, run by a friendly host who anticipates and caters to your needs. This hotel is nestled between idyllic hills and farms, and a 20min stroll (or rent their bikes at 60rmb/day) to HuangHua where there’re great restaurants and supermarkets. It was exactly what we did not know we were looking for in a short getaway from HK to Yingde.
The hotel itself is clean and modern, and the food was a pleasant surprise. Being foreigners used to western-style breakfast, we were initially apprehensive while booking, but the farm-to-table, home-cooked breakfast turned out to be absolutely delicious, such that we found ourselves looking forward to it on our second morning.
We felt like we lucked out with this accommodation choice, as just within walking distance from the hotel, the host brought us to local hiking trails with quite the view (tip: go at sunrise, and if conditions are right you’ll get to see the “sea of clouds”), a climbing crag and an amazing cave you’ll have to yourself. The host, who turned out to be quite the explorer and adrenaline junkie in her younger years, happily took us to them, also showing us photo spots along the way.
But perhaps the best kept secret of this hotel is hinted in its name itself. From its roof terrace, we saw shooting stars fly by above the glow of the region’s famous karst.

GGuest UserOur two days at T Manor Tent camp were very enjoyable, with lots of peaceful walks through the plantation and some spectacular sunsets seen from our glamping tent and from the viewing area at the top of the hill which looks out over the karst-studded landscape. Our tent was located down below which was less spectacular than the tents on the hill but also less exposed and a good option. We had great service from the T Manor staff, who set up a WeChat thread so my husband could communicate with us easily as most of them didn’t speak English. One exception was Allen, a tour guide from Taiwan who was very friendly and helpful, especially on the last day when he helped organise a car to take us to our next accommodation a few hours drive away. A special mention must also go to the restaurant staff, who served us a range of tea-infused dishes and patiently went along with our many queries (our daughter is coeliac which made eating in China a little complicated). Thank you T Manor for a serene and friendly experience, we particularly loved listening to the sound of the bees pollinating the tea bushes as we eat on the veranda of our tent and looked out over the plantation.

LLiangjianshanGiven its mountain location, it's common to encounter small insects. If you're not bothered by this, it could be a good choice. However, there was an issue with the staff regarding the tickets for the Yingxi Peak Forest T3 Organic Tea Garden. We were short-changed on the complimentary tea garden tickets. For our group of three adults and one child, they only provided three tickets instead of the four we should have received. The staff initially claimed that two children could enter with one adult, but upon reaching the tea garden, we were forced to purchase an additional ticket. This meant we were essentially scammed out of one ticket, which was incredibly frustrating. Everything else was largely fine, so I'm baffled why they would cause such an unpleasant experience just to save the cost of a single ticket.
GGuest UserWe are a group of 5 who stayed at Yunyi for 3days2nights in Dec 2023. The owners (a couple) are super enthusiastic and nice. They cooked meals for us, and even helped us arrange transport to the attractions in the area. The B&B is in a peaceful village near the places of interest. Outside the house, the owners keep chickens and maintain a vegetable garden. The air is fresh and the scenery is beautiful. In fact there's a mountain outside the house that looks great in photos! We stayed on the second floor family suite which was well maintained and also includes a spacious living room. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we would recommend this B&B to anyone who loves the countryside :)
