"The hotel is located on 'Swan Lake' which made for pretty photos from our room balcony. The rooms were clean and spacious, with bottled water replaced every day. There was a fridge, but no mini bar. It was very quiet when we stayed, it seemed like tour groups came for 1 night then left the next The attractions the other side of the lake was fun. We loved the glass bridge and the motorboats as well as the bumper cars and road train. You will need to pay extra for some of the attractions, but at a minimal cost. The cave was amazing, and the lighting helps with the atmosphere. Our guide spoke in Mandarin, but this didn't hinder our enjoyment, plus other tourists were happy to translate 😀. There was lots of choice at breakfast, but it didn't really change from one day to the next. I rekindled my love of boiled peanuts! The hot springs were indeed hot, but they were a little rundown, with some of the spa areas not working. Over all, We had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful."

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, so I slept really well. They also recommended local tours and gave me discount coupons, which was a very thoughtful touch. "This pet-friendly B&B was worth the visit, even on a rainy day (the front desk even gave my little dog a welcome gift – pee pads, poop bags, and protective spray, all very useful!). Before arrival, the front desk attendant contacted me with parking directions, local attraction tips, and restaurant recommendations. Since it was raining, I decided to have dinner at the B&B's restaurant. The steamed sea bass was absolutely delicious! Plus, a friendly cat joined me for dinner, haha. The B&B's pool is quite large and the water is very clean; swimming in it was incredibly relaxing. Our room was in a Japanese tatami style, clean and odor-free. And for the southern climate, having dry and fresh bedding in the room is so important! After dinner, I took a stroll around the B&B. The surrounding green, rolling, misty hills were truly breathtaking. This is definitely a place I'd visit again."

"I had a weekend getaway at this hotel. Even though it was a busy weekend, the cabin area was beautifully enclosed and spacious enough to give a complete sense of privacy and relaxation. The getaway was fantastic! The view from the balcony was simply unforgettable, surrounded by a peaceful and harmonious bamboo forest, making the air feel healing. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was especially delicious, setting a great tone for the whole day. Plus, it's pet-friendly, which made us so happy to bring our furry friends along! Even better, the hotel offers complimentary kayaking, and there's a large outdoor hot tub right by the cabin where we could add hot water ourselves – it was incredibly comfortable, making us never want to leave. As a foreigner who doesn't speak Chinese, I was amazed and pleased by how patient the staff were; they always found a way to communicate with me. There were no language barriers affecting my experience; instead, it made me feel incredibly well-cared for. Overall, the value for money here is outstanding, far exceeding the price. With beautiful surroundings, great service, rich experiences, and being pet-friendly, it's rare to find such an affordable yet luxurious vacation experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!"

"I stayed at the Chocolate Kingdom Hotel in mid-October. At that time, some facilities were already showing their age and seemed a bit neglected, and there were fewer staff members. However, I truly felt their dedication in every service they provided; their excellent service more than made up for any shortcomings in the hardware. We had a hot spring package. The hot springs were less crowded during the day and more so at night, so it was good to go at off-peak times. The package also included two-day tickets to Chocolate Wonderland, and at that time, there was a shuttle cart service. When I went back in December, the shuttle was gone, so I want to warn fellow travelers that if you're not driving yourself, think very carefully before booking, as it's a 20-minute walk from the park to the hotel. But since there was a shuttle service in October, and I genuinely felt their dedication in every service, I'm giving a good review for that stay. For December, I'd give a bad review."

"Thanks to this pet-friendly hotel! We spontaneously decided to visit Yingde and stayed at Xishang. It was quiet and parking was convenient. The breakfast was simple, but they offered dim sum. "The room was fantastic, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. He helped us plan our travel itinerary, and by following his route, we truly saw the highlights of Yingxi Peak Forest without feeling tired or backtracking. He even upgraded our room based on our needs, giving us an unbeatable view of Yingxi Peak Forest. The owner, a graduate of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, has designed the rooms with a simple yet aesthetic touch. I absolutely loved the viewing seat by the window. Staying here truly made our trip to Yingxi Peak Forest even better."

"I paid a hefty 1,610 yuan for this stay during the National Day holiday, but the experience was disappointing. First, the positives: First, the cleanliness was excellent. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with virtually no unhygienic spots. Second, the bedding was very comfortable, and I slept soundly. Third, the rural scenery was beautiful, with lush banana fields surrounding the property. Now for the negatives: First, the service wasn't worth the price. First, the breakfast was too basic. The hostess said the breakfast was excellent the night we checked in. Fearing we'd run out of options if we arrived too late, we went early the next morning. It was rush hour, and the place was a mess. You had to fight for anything you wanted, and the selection was limited: eggs, fried noodles, sweet potatoes, corn, and porridge. My wife asked for pickled mustard greens, which she had to buy right away. The fried noodles were good, but we had to wait in line to order more, and we didn't even finish our meal. I understand a simple B&B breakfast, but it's a bit unfair for guests to pay the price of a five-star luxury hotel in a first-tier city only to get such a simple breakfast. Also, since National Day is peak season, shouldn't the hotel be prepared in advance? Furthermore, the proprietress was stingy when serving breakfast, using the guise of saving money and avoiding waste to refuse extra portions. While avoiding waste is commendable, achieving perfect moderation is impossible. Again, compared to the 1610 yuan room rate, those few ears of corn, sweet potatoes, and fried noodles are only a fraction of the room rate. Secondly, although the restaurant has put effort into its facilities, they still fall short of those of a hotel."

"I have collected this B&B a long time ago but never went there. I just wanted to go out that day so I found it. It takes about two hours to drive from Shunde, which is acceptable. I particularly like the fact that it is surrounded by water in front and back, and the air is particularly good. Although there is no stunning scenery, it is refreshing. I slept very well after staying for two nights. It makes people feel truly relaxed here. I went to see the yellow wind chimes on the first morning. It was the right time. The large areas of them on the mountain can be described as shocking, but it is a pity that the yellow wind chimes are particularly suitable for drone photography and mobile phone photography. I stayed in the B&B in the afternoon, drank the complimentary afternoon tea, and then finished reading a book. There are many books in the restaurant here, and even a book is placed on the small coffee table in the room. It is rare to sit down and read a book, which is particularly satisfying. The B&B also has a nice tea room, a restaurant that can deliver meals to your door, an open-air team-building venue, and a boat ride. If you have time, it is really a good choice to stay for a few days."

"Extremely satisfied! The service was exceptional from start to finish. Even before arriving, they answered all my questions thoughtfully. During my stay, they were incredibly responsive to every request, and I even received a parting gift when I checked out. The room facilities were fantastic, and because there weren't many guests, they proactively upgraded my room. The room was well-equipped, and the guesthouse's scenery was absolutely beautiful – it felt like I was living right inside a picturesque landscape. They also provided complimentary tickets to the tea plantation, which is very close by, though I'd say it's an optional visit. It's also not far from the Heshun Karst Cave, so you can easily stop by if you're in the area. Plus, there's passion fruit picking right outside, and the breakfast was delicious!"
