"This is a hostel, and I thought it was a mix of hostel and hotel, but it turned out to be all hostel rooms. The facilities are basic and limited. The four-person room I booked wasn't available, so I got a free upgrade to a six-person room, which just meant an extra bunk bed. It's not bad, just not what I expected. If you're okay with hostels, then it's fine.
The location is excellent, very convenient for transport. It's close to Venezia Mestre train station, just a ten-minute walk to get inside."

"Although there is only a gas station across the hotel. But the location is still excellent. The bus stop to Venice and the airport is right outside the hotel. The bus takes 8 mins into Plazza di Roma. The hotel sells the bus tickets. And there are two buses and the timetable is very regular. We never had to wait more than 10 mins for a bus. So so convenient. The swimming pool also very good, not very busy. Breakfast was ok. Staff were extremely helpful with info, in particularly getting to venice and the airport."

"Excellent hotel. Comfortable room, everything you need is there, cleaning was done every day.
The location is close to bus stops and trains, you can get to the center of Venice.
I was there in July, when the weather was very hot, so I really liked the air conditioning in the room, it was nice to come back to.

After a tasty dinner in our restaurant, the spacious and soundproofed rooms, with unbeatable WiFi connection, ensure you can relax in peace.
"The room is clean and spacious and the staff are very friendly. However, the breakfast is very disappointing and the amenities are lacking, like a 2-3 star hotel.
(1) They seem to have cut back significantly on the amenities. For example, past reviewers mentioned slippers, but there are no slippers provided. Past reviewers also mentioned an in-room coffee maker with capsules. Now, only instant coffee is provided. But, there is a big bottle of water in the refrigerator, free of charge for guests.
(2) The biggest disappointment is the breakfast. Coffee does not taste good, in particular in a coffee-loving country. Italian breakfast usually comes with a lot of bread/cakes. The pastries are horrible, not fresh at all and even taste worse than those we bought at local grocery stores. I saw many guests at neighboring tables cannot finish the pastry (a really waste of food) since they really taste horrible. Greek yogurt is lacking. Bacon is very difficult to chew. Overall, on the surface, it looks like there are many items, but most of them have poor quality."

"Room was small but clean no teas or coffee ın room just bed and towels very basic but clean . Clean bath towels and changing beds every day . Breakfast very basic . Location is good buses and trams front of the hotel , buses from ,to airport infront of the hotel . Price is good too you get what you pay for. I was happy with it cheap and cheerfull . I recomend to ones that they just want clean hotel and visit Venice ."

"New hotel in the Tronchetto area of main Venice. It's very close to the water bus stop and there's also a bus stop that goes to the main bus terminal a few times a day which is also close. Although the hotel is very new, the hotel rooms feel like they could have a bit more decorating inside as they feel a bit lacking in decorations"

GGuest UserMy wife and I checked in on a Tuesday after getting off a 9 day cruise. We arrived earlier than we had expected and earlier than check in time. They jumped right on getting our room ready, that same night my wife started getting very sick. I went to the mall, that is just down the street from the hotel, and picked up some covid test kit and found out that she had covid. The staff jumped through hoops to meet our needs, Called me cab to take my wife to the hospital, furnished bus route and schedule, extended our stay by 2 days helped with finding a drug store where i could get meds for the wife then called me a cab to get me there. There is much more that they assisted me with while there and showing concern for the wife's health.
The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever seen and service there was great.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a parking facility available for 15 euros per day. Unfortunately, I mistakenly parked in an off-site car park. I had assumed it would be a flat 24-hour rate, but to my dismay, I was charged for two days. When I left at 8:30 AM, it ended up costing a whopping 37 euros – quite steep! The place was clean, but very basic, and the facilities were just average. However, with a Chinese restaurant and a bubble tea shop right across the street, it offers good value for money.

GGuest UserFor three people, including city tax, and costing just over 1000 (units not specified), the value for money here in Venice is truly unbeatable. The hotel's main drawback is its distance from the train station, which makes it more ideal for those arriving by car. However, if you plan your trip and use the People Mover, the journey is significantly shorter. There's a Vaporetto (water bus) stop conveniently located just a few hundred meters from the hotel entrance. Be aware that walking from the train station would take at least 35 minutes.
The breakfast, for an Italian hotel, was exceptionally generous and definitely met the standards of a large hotel group. Occupancy seemed quite high too. While the rooms are on the smaller side, for a short stay of one or two nights—really, just a place to sleep—they are perfectly adequate; what more could you possibly need? If you're looking for bigger rooms or more amenities, you'd naturally expect to pay more.
In summary, if you figure out the public transport route from the train station to the hotel beforehand, your stay will be absolutely perfect. For travelers who aren't overly particular about minor details, this place comes highly recommended.

My grate stay at the Hu Venezia Camping Hotel. It offers incredible value and fantastic facilities, making it a great choice for travelers on a budget.
The Accommodation: Think of the rooms as clean, modern wooden cabins. They are compact and very basic – essentially a ”wooden box” as described, but they have the essential: a comfortable bed, a roof, and a powerful air conditioner. The cleaning is provided once a week, which is perfect for longer stays.
The Resort & USP: The Amazing Pool Complex This is where the hotel truly shines. The property is massive and feels like a resort. The centrepiece is the huge, fantastic swimming pool, which is easily the hotel's Unique Selling Point (USP). It’s a major plus for families, as there's a dedicated area for children, and for adults looking to cool off and relax after a long day of sightseeing in crowded Venice.
The overall atmosphere and interior landscaping of the hotel are really beautiful. It's green, well-maintained, and has a great vibe that makes you forget you're just outside a major city.
Food & Drink There is an on-site restaurant where you can buy affordable meals, snacks, and drinks. A key point to note: there is no room service. The practical approach is to grab your food and take it back to enjoy on your patio or in your room. Also, be aware that coffee sachets are not provided in the room. If you're a coffee lover, I highly recommend bringing your own or buying some at the reception/restaurant.
Location & Connectivity The location is practical for accessing Venice without paying premium prices.
· Shuttle Service: The hotel offers a very convenient shuttle bus to Tronchetto (the gateway to Venice's water transport) every 30 minutes for a reasonable €5 return trip.
· Walking to Venice Mestre: A major discovery was that the Venezia Mestre train station is absolutely within walking distance (about 1.9km or 20-25 minutes). The walk is very safe, even early in the morning (we walked at 5 AM without any issues). This is a huge money-saver for getting trains to Venice Santa Lucia or other cities.
Overall, the Hu Venezia Camping Hotel offers outstanding value for money. Get access to a fantastic resort-style pool and easy connections to Venice.

Our flight was scheduled very early in the morning when the breakfast could not be available but because we had paid for it, the staff prepared a packed lunch for us. Customer satisfaction 💯%

Careful with the ATM inside! IT CHARGED ME 3.95EUROS for 20 EUROS cash withdraw with Revolut... I was never charged in Europe or Asia wherever i withdrew by Revolut card only here...
For Bus, you can buy tickets from receoption!! nice.. but then you have to walk 15 minutes to number 24/24H bus to go to Venice, or you can go from hotel 10 mins to T1 tramway but ride is longer .. but for 1.5E per bus/tram ticket better walk instead of parking your car in Venice for approx. 25E, or cheaper but scammy car parks, unsafe..
Staff from reception and kitchen generous.. very very spacious rooms, safe and medium fridge in the room without freezer. Bathroom is equipped also, lights on the bed in heart shape is a nice idea for honeymooners.. AC is working good, breakfast was cheap and not bad. Overall I liked it here and I'd come again. Minus one star for atm surcharge

GGuest UserHotel is very good situated, near the waterbus-station, grocery store and a short walk from the Lido beach. Room was new, clean and on the first floor. It had a Hugo shower and good aircondition. The Reception was not the greatest peopleservers but we managed. Breakfast was ok for the price, do not expect anything fancy. I would choose this hotel again because of the location and the newly renovated room 👍
