Hotels with Parking in Venice

"I rarely book 3-star hotels, so I was quite taken aback when, upon arriving at 11 AM, I was asked to pay a fee to store my luggage. It felt like they were pushing me to pay more for an early check-in instead. Then, on top of the room rate, I had to pay an additional 22 Euros for city tax. We were given a room on the 3rd floor, which we accessed with a code. It faced almost directly onto the entrance/exit of an underground parking garage of the building opposite, and the noise was incredibly loud. I confirmed that there was no room orientation option when booking, and when I asked the front desk, I was told all other rooms were booked! The next morning, the breakfast restaurant was bustling – everyone really seemed to enjoy it. I guess it must be because of the convenient transportation? You can take the 'fishbone bridge' train and the water bus from there."

"It's right in front of Santa Lucia Station, so you don't have to take a water bus or walk long with your suitcase. The room was in good condition overall, friendly staff, breakfast and beds were good. If you visit Venice again, you will make a reservation here without hesitation."

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff and overall clean well kept environment. Very close to an Aldi and a lovely little coffee shop if you walk further up the winding round, in the residential area. Hotel offers shuttle service to and from Venice at a visit of €10 per way and for the airport too at a cost of €8 per way. I think there is a train station nearby, which I did not use. Venice is about a 25 minute drive away from the hotel and for the dates that I was there, a €10 fee per day was applied to visit the city. The breakfast options were varied and tasted good, unsure about vegetarian options for sausages etc. The room I had booked faced the front of the hotel and had a fan/thermostat system however the windows did not open. The shower flooded the bathroom floor somewhat as there wasn't a stopper, the first night I was there. So I was extra cautious the next time I showered. All in all, I would recommend staying at this hotel. It was a positive experience for me."

"It was very quiet at night, and the bed in the room was comfortable. I had a backache after coming from Vienna, but it was cured after one night's sleep. The room had a large bed when I checked in, but I asked to change it to a twin bed. Because the room change delayed dinner time, the manager personally served us to the restaurant and let us dine while we waited. He also provided free drinks and salad. The room was cleaned promptly during our stay, and the bed was turned down at night. The breakfast was rich, and the dinner was delicious. It was very pleasant to have a glass of wine and feel the sea breeze in the evening. The swimming pool is kept constant temperature, and the sea water is not cold enough to swim in the sea. There is also a children's playground. The hotel has a free boat to the main island every half hour, which ends at 11 pm. It is very convenient. I had a great 3-day stay and I will stay here again next time."

"The hotel is very close to the train station, within walking distance. However, be careful when exiting the station after getting off the train, as there are two directions. Don't go towards the elevator; instead, take the exit at the back. After a short flight of stairs, go straight until you see a roundabout, and the hotel is right behind it. It's very easy to find. The owner is Chinese and very friendly. The breakfast is also plentiful. The service is excellent, and the hygiene is top-notch."

"The hotel is on the island of Lido, quiet and open, much more comfortable than living in the main island of Venice, and the price is super high. Lido is about ten minutes from San Marco Square by waterbus. The room is very quiet, and it also has a Bluetooth speaker. The phone can play its own music when connected to the whole room. This time I ordered breakfast, the dining environment was very small and fresh. The downside was that the breakfast category was not very rich. Hot drinks and hot foods (scrambled eggs or something) had to tell the waiter that she would deliver it later, instead of having an area to pick it up."

"We love the hotel room, it’s so spacious, clean and beautiful 😍 However, the location is not the best, it’s 18 minutes walk from the train station and still have to take another train ( 2 stops) to Venice. Initially we thought the hotel will provide free shuttle service, but we were only told that our package is not included with the shuttle service and need to pay 20 euro per person for one way in order to use the shuttle service. This is a very small villa and I think they are short of staff to work? There’s only one receptionist when we first arrived, and when he directed us to the wrong room, he tapped the door and someone was inside??? He later then told us it’s a wrong room. When we came back at night, there are no receptionist at the counter ( we waited for 5-10 mins and rang the counter bell). We were so surprised that the cleaner that cleaned our room did not top up water for us, and didn’t even replace new glasses/ wash our glasses? The used glasses were remained on the same spots. Overall I think we mainly enjoyed the room, but mainly not there for service or if you need to travel out to Venice."

"The hotel is clean. There is a common spacious living room with a kettle and a refrigerator. We were there at the end of October. The room was cool. We didn't immediately figure out how to get to the hotel. Since the reception is open from 9:30 to 13:00. We didn't receive any instructions in advance. We had to look for a number and call ourselves. Overall, we liked it. Close to the train station and the bus to Venice. From the train station you can go to neighboring cities or to the airport."

"Overall, I'm very satisfied! The only minor issue is that the bus from the city's train station to the hotel stops running at 9 PM, which is quite early. A taxi wasn't too expensive, costing 15 Euros. However, there's a convenient direct bus service between the main island and the train station. You can buy bus tickets at the hotel front desk; I recommend buying a couple extra. Otherwise, it can be a hassle if the ticket machines in the city are broken or there are long queues. Breakfast was quite good, but the windows couldn't be opened, so I kept seeing dust and lint floating around in the room. This seems to be a common problem with hotels where you can't open the windows."

"The bus driver who picked us up in the evening was incredibly rude; I wouldn't even give him one star for service. We'd pre-booked the shuttle service and had already been charged online, with the order showing as confirmed. However, for some reason, we couldn't access the bus ticket page – it kept showing an error. Perhaps it was because we were using a German SIM card, or maybe there was an issue with the hotel's website (we tried again after leaving the hotel the next day, and it worked fine). But at the time, the bus driver was really difficult, you know? We tried repeatedly to explain and show him the order confirmation page, but he just said it wasn't his fault, that he didn't care about our reasons, and he only looked at the ticket page. His impatient tone and glare would have made anyone lose their cool. So, my husband got into an argument with him. I tried to de-escalate, telling him I understood it was his job and not his fault, but before I could finish, he pointed his finger at my nose, stared me down, and loudly declared, 'Yes, madam, it's all your fault!' Then he got back into the driver's seat and started muttering to himself in Italian, but in a way that sounded insulting. At that point, I lost it too. We flew all the way to Milan and took a train to Venice specifically not to deal with such attitudes. Can't there be special treatment for special circumstances? I believe such people are rare, but this one incident definitely ruined our vacation to some extent. The bus driver who dropped us off in the morning was excellent. Faced with the same issue, he let us on the bus and even said that these things sometimes happen, proving how different people can be. Now, about the hotel: it's about a 20-minute walk from the train station, so it would be more suitable if you're driving. The internal facilities are decent; the well-equipped kitchen was my favorite part. However, one toilet wouldn't flush, the shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, and the soundproofing was poor, likely due to it being a wooden building. The hotel has a pool, an internal shop, and a restaurant. The surroundings are quite isolated, with nothing to do nearby besides farmland and residential areas. The front desk staff provided excellent service."
