"I rarely book 3-star hotels, so I was quite taken aback when, upon arriving at 11 AM, I was asked to pay a fee to store my luggage. It felt like they were pushing me to pay more for an early check-in instead. Then, on top of the room rate, I had to pay an additional 22 Euros for city tax. We were given a room on the 3rd floor, which we accessed with a code. It faced almost directly onto the entrance/exit of an underground parking garage of the building opposite, and the noise was incredibly loud. I confirmed that there was no room orientation option when booking, and when I asked the front desk, I was told all other rooms were booked! The next morning, the breakfast restaurant was bustling โ€“ everyone really seemed to enjoy it. I guess it must be because of the convenient transportation? You can take the 'fishbone bridge' train and the water bus from there."

"Becarefull ! Price is not tally as per advertised! They advertised in trip.com writing we just pay 3 Euro at property, but when we arrived the hotel , they want collect with us 4 Euro per person for tourist tax which is same price with what they advertised.we was trying raise this issue to them and say them the trip.com app as proof , they are just donโ€™t care , ignoring and they say you can just raise refund or discuss with trip.com. They are trying to push away responsibility to platform."

"This hotel is great! I saw a lot of Chinese guests staying here. The room was clean and tidy, and the restaurant staff were very friendly during the two breakfasts I had. The hotel is located right by the highway, with a bus stop outside that goes directly to Venice's main island and the airport/train station. It's perfect for travelers who need to catch a flight the next day or are just arriving in Venice and want to rest for a night. The only downside is that the cleaning staff were very loud in the mornings while cleaning the rooms and in the hallway. I was woken up at the same time both days, which was a bit annoying."

"The location is quite convenient, about a 10-15 minute walk to the train station, and there are bus stops nearby. There's no kettle, and all drinks in the mini-fridge, including a 500ml bottle of mineral water, cost 1.5 euros. The tray only has two glass cups, with no free coffee or tea for brewing. Even though I never use them, their absence makes the hotel seem cheap. The only saving grace was that the restaurant staff downstairs were very nice and willing to fill my thermos with hot water. There was only toilet paper, no facial tissues. This is the stingiest four-star hotel I've ever stayed in. I had already paid the full room rate, but upon check-in, they insisted on scanning my passport and credit card together for their records. Luckily, I had covered my security code beforehand. I don't understand why this rundown place needed to keep a credit card on file, probably for those overpriced drinks in the fridge? I'd been traveling for ten days, and all other hotels only required an additional city tax payment. This old-fashioned place was the only one that insisted on a credit card deposit."

"The room was a bit small. It's located on the new island, about a 10-20 minute walk to get to the main part of Venice and other major attractions, which includes going up and down bridges. Luckily, the paths on the new island are very smooth with no steps, making it easy to pull luggage. The hotel is popular and clean. Overall, I think it's probably more convenient than staying on the main island and lugging your bags around, and it's much closer than staying in the city center."

"It's a good location to go to Venice. I stayed here while looking for a place with free parking. The best thing about this place is the rich breakfast. The room condition is recommended for short stays or when you have little luggage. The location is good because it's a 10-15 minute walk from the train station to the main island of Venice. There's a large mart nearby, so it's convenient. The staff and staff are friendly."

"The room was quite spacious and conveniently located right by the roundabout. The parking lot seemed to be free, probably because it's off-season. It's a great spot for those traveling by car. We took a bus directly to the island, and on the way back, a train to the mainland, where there were plenty of Chinese restaurants. After dinner, it was a pleasant 30-minute stroll back to the hotel. It was a perfect trip, Venice is beautiful and wasn't smelly at all. Fantastic. We skipped breakfast as we had an early start the next day to return the car and catch our flight. A perfect end to our ten-day journey."

"This hotel is super convenient, right next to the train station, and the soundproofing is great. It's small but has everything you need, and both the bathroom and room are very clean. It's really handy for getting around Venice; if you want to visit the main island, you can just hop on a train nearby and get there quickly. Breakfast was good too."

Aapp1234The location, the size, the cleanliness, the friendliness of the reception, everything was perfect. It's easy to access the bus and train stations. There are many reasonably priced and delicious restaurants nearby. We stayed here for my family's birthday. They prepared a surprise gift for us in the room. We will definitely come back here when we come to Venice.

GGuest UserStaffs are friendly and welcome, great hostel with full of sharing spaces. Hostel has planned various activities for each of everyday, where Friday was DJ party night. Monday is karaoke ๐ŸŽค the rest of the day canโ€™t remember. At check in area there is a big information board this is absolutely amazing for travelers. Well equipped sharing kitchen as well.

SSuzyyyWe love the hotel room, itโ€™s so spacious, clean and beautiful ๐Ÿ˜ However, the location is not the best, itโ€™s 18 minutes walk from the train station and still have to take another train ( 2 stops) to Venice. Initially we thought the hotel will provide free shuttle service, but we were only told that our package is not included with the shuttle service and need to pay 20 euro per person for one way in order to use the shuttle service. This is a very small villa and I think they are short of staff to work? Thereโ€™s only one receptionist when we first arrived, and when he directed us to the wrong room, he tapped the door and someone was inside??? He later then told us itโ€™s a wrong room. When we came back at night, there are no receptionist at the counter ( we waited for 5-10 mins and rang the counter bell). We were so surprised that the cleaner that cleaned our room did not top up water for us, and didnโ€™t even replace new glasses/ wash our glasses? The used glasses were remained on the same spots. Overall I think we mainly enjoyed the room, but mainly not there for service or if you need to travel out to Venice.

SSekani 27The hotel is very well located, with a bus stop just a 3 minute walk away and the train station about 8 minutes walk. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is clean, and the reception staff are friendly and helpful. The room itself was decent; however, the shower stall was extremely small and quite difficult to move around in. Iโ€™m not sure if this was specific to my room or typical across the hotel. Breakfast was simple but satisfactory. As the breakfast area is relatively small, guests are asked to choose a time slot, usually around 40 minutes which is generally enough time to eat comfortably.

The location is pretty well connected and i strongly recommend taking an independent bus, rather than their shuttle bus service - they drop you off by a busy road and the walk to Venice is not much shorter than the 20min one that you take from the Hotel to a bus stop (and itโ€™s cheaper). I found it very disappointing that my message I sent 2-3 days before my stay with questions, was never read or answered. The room has all needed amenities, and is overall comfortable, however the only table is outdoors. The on-site shop is convenient, with prices not too racked up, so very reliable. However the Hotel restaurant is disappointing. We ordered a pizza and a kids menu burger and fries - the pizza was very average, but the burger was actually just the meat patty and fries?? While it was clearly called a burger on the menu. Additionally, it was neither cheap, or fast service. Iโ€™d say this is a good place to stay for a short trip to Venice, especially on the budget, but would not recommend using their extra amenities such as the restaurant or bus.

IT CHARGED ME 3.95EUROS for 20 EUROS cash withdraw with Revolut... I was never charged in Europe or Asia wherever i withdrew by Revolut card only here...ย  For Bus, you can buy tickets from receoption!! nice.. but then you have to walk 15 minutes to number 24/24H bus to go to Venice, or ย you can go from hotel 10 mins to T1 tramway but ride is longer .. but for 1.5E per bus/tram ticket better walk instead of parking your car in Venice for approx. 25E, or cheaper but scammy car parks, unsafe..ย  Staff from reception and kitchen generous.. very very spacious rooms, safe and medium fridge in the room without freezer. Bathroom is equipped also, lights on the bed in heart shape is a nice idea for honeymooners.. AC is working good, breakfast was cheap and not bad. Overall I liked it here and I'd come again. Minus one star for atm surcharge

The bus stop right outside is really convenient for getting to the main island, and there are lots of Chinese restaurants nearby. My only minor complaint is that it's still quite cold, and the heated towel rail was turned off.

GGuest UserFriendly Staff and Great Tips for Visiting Venice We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Centrale. What really made the experience special was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They kindly explained to us the easiest way to visit Venice without driving into the city. Instead of driving and paying expensive parking fees in Venice (which can be at least โ‚ฌ25 or more), they suggested taking Bus 7 or 7E, which goes directly to Venice with the last stop near the main area. The journey only takes about 20 minutes, making it very convenient. They also recommended a nearby parking area costing around โ‚ฌ12, which saved us quite a bit. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical. The room was a good size with everything we needed, including a nice hot shower after a long day of travel. Breakfast was good, and the hotel seems quite popular. There is also a little shop just next door so you can just buy whatever that you need. The surrounding town is simple, but the hotelโ€™s location is very convenient for visiting Venice. We also appreciated that dogs are allowed, which made traveling with our pet much easier. Overall, the friendly service and helpful local advice made a big difference to our stay.

It's perfect for a day trip to the main island of Venice, and there's a large supermarket nearby. The only downside is that they don't offer luggage storage after check-out.
