I love this hotel provides washing machine and dryer, intend to wash all my clothings on my last day so I don’t have to bring home dirty clothes.
There’s 2 walk in wardrobe, one located in the bedroom and the other located just near the entrance - which is kinda like a secret passage 😅
Utensil are provided!!! As well as disposable dish washer sponge~

"Had an okay stay at this hotel. Room was a bit small, especially if you have two large suitcases. We could still hear street noise at night even from the 17th floor, which made sleeping a little tough.
The location is close to Yeongdeungpo subway station but it’s still a distance from most popular spots (45 mins to Gangnam/ Seongsu, 30 mins to Myeongdong) convenient only if you’re working or staying nearby for a specific reason.
On the positive side, we received excellent service from Heather, who helped us a lot and truly made a difference during our stay.
Wouldn’t really recommend this hotel unless you need to be in the immediate area."

"The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from Hongdae subway station, making it super convenient for shopping and getting around. The room was very clean, and the floor-to-ceiling windows created a lovely atmosphere. They provided coupons for duty-free shops and Olive Young, and there's free luggage storage. The front desk service was excellent, and the lounge area was also very nice. There's even a pool on the 22nd floor. Overall, it was a great experience."

"I chose the L'Escape Hotel in Myeongdong for my trip to Korea with my child, mainly for a K-pop idol event. I looked at countless reviews before deciding on their Deluxe Triple Suite. The hotel is new, and the room was large, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom had a great dry/wet separation, and the toiletries were high-quality. There were two separate, clean, and bright toilets, and the bedding was very comfortable. Downstairs, there's a simple cafe, and the location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to Gongdeok subway station – you don't even need to cross the road from Exit 1. The airport limousine bus stop is right downstairs (the one for arrivals is at the Garden Hotel across the street, but the one for departures to the airport is just about 50 meters down the road from L'Escape). Taking the bus from Incheon Airport was incredibly convenient. There's also an Olive Young downstairs. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but all in all, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Korea!👍"

"Old facilities, not enough staff. No room service. If you want/need in room dining, you need to order delivery food and pick it up at reception. No bath tub, old rooms, old soft mattress. Old dusty floor rug and curtains. Only 3 elevators, instead of standard 6 for this tower size. Always waiting for crowded elevators. Breakfast coffee machines are always broken. Pastries one morning were chewy, clearly re-used from the previous day. Some breakfast items were random, a caprese salad which was tomato and mozzarella, one morning possibly they ran out of tomatoes and put syrup fruits with mozzarella instead (see photo). Overall, it is a very pricey low quality hotel, certainly not a 4 star hotel. Location is ok, but you can find better in Myeongdong, ibis, royal hotel are directly at the commercial street, this one still need to walk. Avoid this hotel."

"Room reasonable. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (12 years old). Just managed to get our 3 bags and 1 carry in it. I would describe the layout as a bit weird. As you enter the sink and the pantry (coffee making facilities) are together. While one brushes his teeth the other one is making coffee. The bathroom is only wc and shower. The beds were comfortable and were sufficient for 4 of us.
We did not have bfast but there is a CU in the hotel itself. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous.
Distance to Euljiro 4 station is just 100 meters away, moving around the city would be easy but walking to central areas like Myeongdong may be too far.
Hotel is good if you are paying a reasonable price for it like usd 120-140. Unfortunately we booked during peak time and paid like USD 220 for it.
Overall we were satisfied but be mindful of the pricing per night when you choose this hotel."

1. Very clean hotel, very well maintained.
2. Great location. There is a convenient store (CU Mart) right next to main entrance of the hotel. There are a number of restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby too.
3. Within walking distance to bus stop and train station.
4. Efficient check-in and check-out process.
5. Ironing facilities are provided.
6. Comfortable bed and pillows.
7. There is a self-service laundry area (need to pay) at the lobby.
8. There is also a luggage weighing machine at the lobby.
Need improvement:
1. Perhaps can provide more bottled water. There are 2 bottled waters provided but not enough for us. We tried to call front desk around 11pm but nobody picked up the call, we had to go down and buy mineral water. Just a small inconvenience.
Overall, it is a very good and clean hotel. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay here again for my next visit to Korea."

"We stayed at the hotel from July 8 to July 10. It was a pleasant surprise that we were accommodated in a spacious triple room instead of a double. We especially enjoyed the panoramic mountain view, which made us feel more connected to nature. That meant a lot to us.
A suggestion: it would be nice to have a set of cookware available in the room for preparing meals, rather than having to rent it for an additional fee.

CCHW0101Hotel is very new a with modern decoration and close to the trendy Hyundai Shopping Mall. I especially like the perfumes in the lift lobby. Room is normal and clean. The gym is huge and with very good equipment, almost similar scale versus Conrad hotel next door. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

YyucongseuThis hotel is right in Myeongdong, making shopping incredibly convenient – just step downstairs and you're there. Getting around is also easy, with taxis readily available and Myeongdong subway station very close by. It's also next to the Chinese Embassy, and the room I booked happened to be an 'embassy view' room, which made me feel extra secure. All the facilities and amenities are pretty complete, the cleanliness is quite good, and the service is also okay. It's a great place to stay if you're in Myeongdong for shopping. As for the downsides: breakfast on the top floor offers nice views, but the food selection is limited. Also, disposable items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and combs in the room come with a charge (which I believe is a standard regulation in Korea).

Lemme tell you first, the entrance to the hotel is at the side (I am bad with directions)… if you come late and the mall is close, face left and entrance is just at the side lol.
In front of the hotel, there are lots of restaurants and you can always eat as solo traveler. Lots of choices and good foods. Lots of street market vendors if you just walk 1-2minutes and love this.
I initially dont like the room (because of the view) (I only book places for their views tbh) as I have initially asked for a good view room on my request and all ;; and as what was advertised but it is my mistake for not booking city view room but I saw on some reviews they got nice city view room; and had to ask for a change because I stayed for 6nights. They advised as it was late, they have got no rooms available and informed me they will change on the next day. They promptly changed it on the morning itself saving me the time in to initially checking out and wait for availability. They were really quick in addressing the concerns I have and was very helpful. Really appreciate it as a first timer visitor in the city. Will definitely come back to this hotel and will book city view room next because so worth it!!!!

ZZhaohuihuiSeoul Front Hotel boasts an excellent location. The subway station is within easy walking distance, and a popular, Instagram-worthy BBQ spot is just around the corner. While the rooms are compact, they are clean and modern. The front desk staff speaks fluent English and is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar offers fantastic night views. Overall, it's excellent value for money!

GGuest UserThis is a solid choice for a modern stay. The rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean, and well-designed. I was impressed by the range of amenities provided. Although I didn't use it, the gym is a great feature. The breakfast was adequate (had scrambled eggs, some bread and soup), but the comfort and quality of the accommodation are the real highlights. Would happily return.

FFajrinaRohmatI booked this trip last minute and didn’t have many expectations for the hotel, but I ended up having such a pleasant stay. They have a mini kitchen with kitchen utensils available apon request which was a big plus because I could reheat and cook simple meals. There’s also a washing machine for quick laundry and a toilet with a bidet — super plus point!
The location is great — very close to Chungmuro Station, near Myeongdong but much quieter and peaceful. There are buses that go almost everywhere, and a CU right in front of the hotel. The bed was comfy, the room size felt just right, and housekeeping was consistent. Rubbish was cleared every day and fresh towels were provided daily too.

BblueberrycheesecakeSince my first stay at Shilla Stay Mapo in late 2023, I've probably stayed here over a dozen times. Let me summarize my experience.
First, you need to consider its location: check on a map if Shilla Stay Mapo is convenient for the places you plan to visit. It's just one subway stop from Hongdae, making access to Hongdae very convenient. For other destinations, you should check your route on Naver Maps beforehand. The hotel is served by Subway Line 5, Line 6, and the Airport Railroad. If you're traveling with luggage, remember to use Exit 2, which has a direct elevator. From Subway Exit 2, cross the street, walk past a post office, and you'll reach the hotel. The 'Gongdeok Station' and 'Mapo Station' exits near the hotel also offer numerous bus connections.
The elevators require key card access to select a floor, ensuring good security. The front desk staff speak excellent English, so if you know a little English, the check-in process will be very smooth. I'm not sure if they speak Chinese, but they do speak Japanese. You can request a bathtub or a shower when you check in; simply tell the front desk if you prefer a 'bathtub' or a 'shower,' and they can usually accommodate your preference. The bathroom is very large and spacious, and the vanity counter is big enough to hold all the toiletries for a family. The hotel provides shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, and conditioner. Other items are not complimentary. They do offer disposable toothbrushes, but there's a charge of 1,000 KRW for them. Regarding bedding, pillows, and cleanliness, I personally have never encountered any issues. For soundproofing, it's generally quiet most of the time, though there's little you can do when occasional guests are particularly noisy.
Rooms are also quite spacious. Double rooms tend to be a bit more spacious than twin rooms, so I recommend opting for a double room. The desks and sofas vary across different rooms and room types; some have long desks, others have small round tables, and some have square tables.
Personally, I find this hotel offers excellent value for money in this area. As long as its location is convenient for the places you plan to visit, I highly recommend choosing it.

FFuniaTGreat location but at a reasonable price. I liked the spacious room with 1S and 1 double bed and simple/homely yet delicious breakfast that was prepared with a heart. Many shops and eateries within a 2-minute walk from hotel and take exit 1 of Sungshin Women Uni station with 180m walk. Toiletries (shampoo/body wash etc) including toothbrush were prepared in a black box in the room. The only downside is the water heater on 2nd level can go off on 2 days that we need to call reception to reset the boiler.

DDale ChloeI recently stayed at a hotel right next to Jongno 3-ga Station in Seoul, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the city.
One of the standout features right from the start was the range of convenient amenities available to guests. The hotel lobby had a currency exchange machine, which saved me the hassle of finding a bank or exchange booth — a huge plus when traveling. There was also a 24-hour snack bar, where I could grab drinks or snacks at any time, which came in especially handy during late nights.
