Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The service was excellent (you can choose your pillow at the front desk), and there are water dispensers and ice machines in the hallways. It's only a 3-minute walk from Anguk subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. Gyeongbokgung Palace is also within walking distance. This place is perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul who want to hit the main attractions. However, if you're planning on shopping in Gangnam or Seongsu, it might be a bit far. If you're traveling with elderly guests, you can ask the front desk for a non-slip mat (as the rooms have bathtubs, not walk-in showers).

Guest UserThe room size was just right, not too big, not too small, and it had a balcony with a great view for watching the sunrise – absolutely stunning! I’ve uploaded pictures of the view at different times of the day for everyone’s reference. The transportation is incredibly convenient; there are several subway lines right downstairs to choose from, and as soon as you step out, there are all sorts of dining options. The mall is also right downstairs, making it super easy to buy anything you need! Most importantly, I love to run, and this hotel is very close to Cheonggyecheon Stream, which is a dream come true for running enthusiasts! It's a 5km one-way run, making it 10km round trip! Fantastic! The hotel breakfast was also a highlight; the fried chicken, noodles, and mixed salads were absolutely delicious! Plus, the front desk staff were very friendly. When we arrived, there was even a guide who spoke Chinese, which was very nice! I'll definitely choose this place again next time! Unforgettable Seoul, you brought me endless surprises!

AndyC9999Upon check in, we asked for a 2 twin beds room, without even checking by the staff, I already heard no. Then she asked me for my credit card, didn’t even mention how much limits she gonna hold. Anyway.
During the stay, there were zero turn down services. I called and asked why and I was told that we had to request for it. First time hearing this from a Fairmont. Totally disappointed. The bathroom lights were flashing (a bit scary at night), light bulbs had to be replaced I guess, called someone to come take a look. Didn’t expect they didn’t even offer a room change. So I guess they came in to fix the light while we were out.
On the day of checking out, I called to request for a late check out. Without checking, rejected me. I had to ask again and got an extra 30 mins. Standard check out time is 11am, which is already ridiculous, got extended to 11:30, what a joke. Will never stay here again and might even stay away from all Accor hotels.

Guest UserThis hotel is beautiful. It was very clean and quiet outside, but closest to everything without being chaotic. It was so so clean and the room was big. The washer in the room is so convenient. It’s a little much to drag your luggage from check in to building B, but it’s still worth it. I’d definitely stay here again.

BasGTiny little hotel room but it was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel pyjamas were an unexpected amenity and cute. Breakfast at the rooftop bar was especially tasty, with a supply of blankets, and beautiful views that made it one of our highlights. The lobby scales to weigh our luggage also helped alot with packing for our flights. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and looked after our bags while we explored after checkout.

MonkumaIt was very nice hotel. Room was big enough for 4 people and 2 beds were also
big enough to sleep. ( 2 queen )There were big fridge, freezer, washing machines and dryer. ( no soap)
Amenities were only shampoo, conditioner and body soap.
The hotel is located between Myeongdong exit 10 and Chungmuro.
The hotel has wow pass machine and convenience store.
Staffs were nice and room was clean. ( I just see some dust left on the corner of room but it is not big issue )
Over all we loved to stay here and if we have chance, we would like to stay again.

EddrenI had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people.
One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city.
Travel Tip:
From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.

Guest UserWe stayed at this hotel from August 10th to 17th.
Location-wise, it's a 50-minute commute to the city center. Check-in is done via a machine, so don't expect a smiling face or a warm welcome wishing you a pleasant stay. Not a huge deal, though.
The room isn't cleaned during your stay, as the owner (an elderly gentleman) informed us. However, towels were changed twice, and toiletries were replenished.
The bed was quite firm, which wasn't ideal after long walks until midnight, but it only bothered us for the first 15 minutes before we'd drift into a deep sleep. The air conditioning works well, and so does the extractor fan. The panoramic windows really add to the hotel's appeal.
Overall, I'd give it 2 stars, which is what it's rated.

ANNASHEThis hotel is located above the OLIVION building, with the subway exit and Myeongdong's main entrance right outside, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and getting around. The elevator can occasionally have a short wait, but the overall location advantage is unbeatable. The room space isn't overly generous, but it's actually slightly larger than the Ibis next door. The main difference is that the Ibis front desk is on the ground floor, while this hotel's front desk is on the 17th floor, making direct access a bit less convenient. Considering the location and price, it offers great value for money, and the overall stay experience was very good. A very convenient hotel.
