"This hotel is perfect for a layover near the airport. You can take the 205 bus directly from the airport to the hotel. It's made up of four buildings, and I stayed in building 3. The spa is in building 4. There's a park and the beach right in front, and plenty of restaurants behind the hotel. The front desk staff can speak Chinese. They don't provide toothbrushes, but everything else is very smart and modern."

"Exceeded all expectations! The hotel's location is superb, really close to all the attractions. There are plenty of shops downstairs, and I highly recommend OurBakery – their bread is delicious! You don't need to bother with the hotel breakfast. They also have a self-service laundry and a gym, which is perfect for travelers. The room size was just right, though it would be even better if the shower curtain could be replaced."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right at Yongsan Station Exit 3. Just follow the elevated walkway, enter the 'Food Exchange' and you'll find the elevator. This is the second floor; take the elevator down to the first floor for the Novotel lobby. The Mercure, Ibis, and Novotel are all connected. Continue through the Novotel lobby to the other end to reach the Ibis front desk. Check-in and luggage storage are very convenient. Given it's Seoul and the excellent transportation links (subway, ITX, KTX from Yongsan Station are all very accessible), the hotel's price is comparable to downtown Shanghai 🤣, but when you factor in potential taxi costs for getting around, it offers really good value for money. Plus, the room isn't small, the environment is quiet and comfortable, with complimentary mineral water and a kettle, and the toiletries are of good quality. Highly recommend!"

"Wish they could have an overall 5 star rating and I will have rated it 5!! Booked the deluxe queen room and the hotel kindly accommodated my requirements for a quiet room so they did give me as best the quietest room at a corner between the roads. It was very very spacious and well kept but what made it Above 5 stars was , the last night I stayed, there was noise coming from one of the neighboring rooms. The front desk helped to arrange an alternative room at 1am (of course thankfully it wasn’t the peak season) but also helped to speak to the guest because I went back to my original room and it became quieter. Finally on check out, as I collected my luggage, a front desk officer ran out to gift me a bag of drinks and coookies to apologize for the noise! Wow, I have just recently travelled to Tokyo and in contrast had a poor and rude experience from the front desk and that hotel was like a 4.5 stars and Japanese were suppsed to be a lot more service oriented? Anyway, to not digress, prior to this, the front desk was always helpful with directions and spoke perfect english. I will highly recommend staying here and coming back again."

"We stayed here for a business trip. It's very close to the Seoul outlets, which makes shopping super convenient. The only downside is that the dining options nearby aren't great. We arrived at the hotel around 9 PM, and the only place still open was the fried chicken restaurant run by the hotel on the first floor. Everyone there was Chinese, too."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Roynet Hotel Mapo — Great Location & Wonderful Upgrade! We had a fantastic stay at Roynet Hotel Mapo during our family trip to Seoul. The location near Mapo/Gongdeok station is absolutely perfect — easy access to the subway made exploring the city effortless, from Gyeongbokgung Palace to Hongdae and Myeongdong. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a Premium Room, which was spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable for our family of four. The room was spotlessly clean with modern amenities and a lovely view. The highlight was access to the Executive Lounge — a wonderful bonus that we truly appreciated. The lounge offered a relaxed atmosphere, great refreshments, and attentive service. It made our mornings and evenings so much more enjoyable, especially with two kids in tow! The staff throughout were warm, professional and incredibly helpful — nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast spread was impressive with a good variety of Korean and Western options. Mapo is a great neighbourhood — safe, vibrant and full of great dining options just steps from the hotel. Would highly recommend Roynet Hotel Mapo for families visiting Seoul. We will definitely be back! 🇰🇷"

"Couldn't be happier with my stay! I booked this during a week when two popular K-pop groups were holding concerts in Seoul, and most regular guesthouses in the city were going for over 1000 RMB a night. This hotel, however, was even cheaper than a guesthouse (it might be because I booked a room without a window, which is usually cheaper than standard rooms, but to my surprise, they upgraded me to a room with a window upon check-in – what a pleasant surprise!). It felt like I snagged an amazing deal! Plus, as a star-rated hotel, the Ramada's service, facilities, environment, and cleanliness were all excellent. Super satisfied! The location is also incredibly convenient, just a 10-15 minute walk from Sindorim Subway Station/D-cube Art Center. There's also an airport shuttle bus stop (schedule shown in the pictures) about a five-minute walk from the hotel, and it's the first stop, so you don't have to worry about not getting a seat. It took me about 1.5 to 1.75 hours to get to Incheon Airport from the hotel by bus. While the subway might be faster, the bus doesn't require transfers, and you don't have to lug your luggage around, making it a top choice for those with a lot of baggage! The only minor downside is that the Sindorim area is a bit of a transportation hub, with trains, subways, and elevated roads, so there's constant traffic, which might cause some noise. However, the sound shouldn't be too loud; I wasn't bothered by it at all during my stay. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider it carefully."

"The hotel was easy to find using navigation, located right by the road and quite noticeable. First, the pros: 1. The front desk staff spoke good English, making communication smooth. The room was cleaned daily when I pressed the cleaning service button, and they did a thorough job. Staff members were always friendly and greeted guests warmly. 2. It's a walkable distance from the subway, which is convenient. There's also a Hyundai Department Store and COEX nearby for shopping and entertainment. There's a CU convenience store right in the hotel's basement, perfect for picking up daily necessities and snacks. Plus, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around the hotel. 3. The area is quite pleasant, surrounded by office buildings. It's not as crowded or noisy with tourists as places like Myeongdong. Now for the cons: 1. The air conditioner only had two fan speed settings, and even the lowest setting felt too strong. 2. The soundproofing wasn't great. If you have a loud neighbor, it can be quite bothersome late at night. 3. I stayed in room 402 this time, and unfortunately, an adjacent building's rooftop was right outside my window. On the third night, it rained, and the raindrops hitting the metal sheeting on that rooftop made an incredibly loud dripping noise. I barely slept that night; it was truly miserable."
