"Love this cute and simple set up. Self Check in process was simple from the machine. Love that there are washer and dryer which was really helpful. Had my daily doses of Americano as well at the kitchen area. The amenities were very well thought of, from cleanser to combs and hair dryer. Small space just enough for one person as you can’t really walk around with bags opened. Otherwise really clean and quiet. Location is not too bad, less than 5 minutes walk to Seodaemun subway. However might not be ideal if one would prefer certain itinerary in Seoul as I find myself spending a lot of time travelling between Hongdae, Myeondong, Seongsu, and Gangnam. Would recommend otherwise"

"I didn't have my reservation number for check-in, so I contacted them via KakaoTalk and got a quick response, allowing me to check in smoothly. (There were also QR codes for other chat apps like LINE). The room itself was sufficiently clean, as it was new. Besides a refrigerator, there was also a washing machine. Amenities included shampoo, and slippers were provided. The bathroom, with the toilet and shower in the same space, meant the toilet got wet when showering, but this is common in Korea, so it didn't bother me. The quietness was also not an issue at all. There aren't any chairs, so you have to sit on the side of the bed, but the room isn't very spacious, so that's understandable. Due to the building's structure, the elevator only goes up to the 6th floor, so you have to take the stairs for one flight. (The 6th floor seemed to be another hostel). The location is also very convenient, being close to the Myeongdong bustling area. I was a bit worried when I booked because there were no reviews, but ultimately, it was a room I'd like to use again if I have the chance."

The price was incredibly cheap, only 160 per night. It's newly renovated, so the environment feels very fresh! The bed wasn't small; even at 1.93m tall, I was comfortable. Everyone staying there was considerate at night, so it was quiet and I slept really well. It's perfectly fine for solo female travelers as male and female guests are separated. The location is actually excellent, near Myeongdong subway station. I truly recommend staying in Myeongdong. Even though it's a tourist hub, its central location means nowhere is too far. And a high concentration of tourists isn't necessarily a bad thing; it also means a full range of tourist services and convenient transportation. The only downside! Although it's next to Myeongdong subway station, it's located up a hill nearby. It takes about a 7-minute walk uphill. It's not far, but the incline is significant, so it'll test your physical stamina. I definitely recommend staying here."

The hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste, soap, disposable toothbrushes, towels, and slippers. There's also a TV. A common kitchen area offers free coffee and ramen, a water dispenser, and a washing machine. We booked an upgraded room with a view and were happy with it, though the view wasn't strictly necessary."

"The place looks exactly like the pictures! While it's small and lacks a view, considering that, the location and service are excellent. It was a bit tricky to find at first, especially with the sudden rain, as there's no clear sign on the ground floor. If it hadn't been raining, I probably would have looked up and found it more easily. I was on a trip to Seoul with my two kids, and they were thrilled with the late-night ramen! Being right in the heart of Myeongdong, we just dropped off our bags and headed straight out to explore. It was great that they even provided chargers, and the outlets by the bunk bed were really convenient. Despite the small size, everything from the hangers to the amenities felt thoughtfully provided, and nothing was lacking. Plus, there were plenty of towels! We had a wonderful stay!"

"Perhaps because it's a new hotel, there's a strong odor. The soundproofing is poor; I could clearly hear conversations from the next room, cars from the street outside the window, and the subway underground, making it impossible to sleep even in the middle of the night. The hotel provides self-service noise-canceling earplugs and water, but you have to change your own towels. Around 10 AM every day, an auntie comes to clean the check-out rooms. We stayed for 2 days, and there seemed to be no service during our stay; the room's trash was never emptied. The location is good, not far from the subway station and the Myeongdong commercial area. Self-check-in was very convenient."

"The location is excellent, within walking distance to the center of Hongdae, surrounded by many shops, convenience stores, and restaurants. However, it's about a 900-meter walk to the subway station and around 400 meters to the bus stop, situated on a small hill. It's very suitable for solo travelers. The third floor is for female guests, with capsule-like beds where you can store your luggage underneath. Water, towels, slippers, and earplugs are provided, along with three power outlets. Breakfast is served on the second floor, offering boiled eggs and bread, and there's a microwave. You're not allowed to eat in the rooms; food must be taken to the common areas. There are about 7-8 showers and 4 toilets, equipped with hairdryers and toiletries. The soundproofing is quite good (even though shops downstairs are open late, the accommodation area is very quiet), and guests generally keep noise to a minimum. The only downside is that the toilets are really small, making it inconvenient to open and close the door."

"Don’t let the old building intimidate you! When you arrive in the actual hostel which is multiple floors 14-16, it is not outdated at all. Location is top notch, I have no words for this. When you go out of the bldg, you are already in Myeongdong night market. For budget travelers, the breakfast is also significant/enough which helped a lot in this trip. I also got upgraded from 6 to 4 ppl room which was a bonus. One thing to note though is that the bathroom is shared for the whole floor and centralized near the elevator. it’s clean and have ample showers. the only concern is when you need to pee at the wee hours of the morning, your room might be a bit far from it. Will definitely stay again!"

"Excellent location! It's just a short walk from Jongno 3-ga subway station. There are tons of convenience stores nearby (GS25, CU, 7-Eleven, you name it!) and plenty of restaurants, including some great options for solo diners. You'll also find a lot of bars and cafes. The location is a little tucked away, which makes it surprisingly quiet. I arrived quite late, so I emailed them beforehand and received a very detailed and patient reply. If it weren't for all the K-pop fans lately making it hard to book consecutive nights, I would definitely have stayed longer. The transportation is super convenient, and there's Tapgol Park nearby for a stroll. It's also close to many other attractions. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. Facilities: The common areas are well-equipped. The room has a mini-fridge, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, with slippers thoughtfully placed right at the entrance, and a floor mat. Service: They have local travel guides available for reference (I've included a picture of the guide). When I checked out, I met a very warm and polite Korean lady. I just love the vibe here! There's a restaurant on the street outside that serves amazing beef bone soup noodles, and a set meal with grilled meat. I forgot to take a picture of the name, but the auntie there speaks good English and provides fantastic service!"

I will come back again ( ´▽｀) It is useful to check out their youtube videos on how to get to the hostel. Go to Itaewon station exit 2 instead and take the lift if u have heavy suitcases like me. Exit 3 is closer but there are only staircases. They are only one crosswalk away from each other."

The hotel is located right in the heart of Myeongdong, very close to Euljiro subway station. With many restaurants nearby, the location is incredibly convenient. I arrived at the hotel around 11 PM on my check-in day, so I went up to the 3rd floor via the elevator and found a card key with my name on it at the counter. I believe if I had gone to the counter the next day, they would have told me my room number, but I was short on time and just continued using the card key, which wasn't inconvenient at all. The room didn't have enough space to fully open a large suitcase without blocking the aisle, but since I was traveling alone, it wasn't a major issue. The mirror and light were very handy for doing makeup. The sink, shower, and toilet were all in one area, but it was clean and easy to use. The water pressure in the shower was also good. I could catch a glimpse of the Myeongdong cityscape from the window. There were plenty of outlets, so as long as you have a plug adapter and a voltage converter, you should be fine. Towels were provided in the room, and extra ones were available in the hallway, which I found to be a thoughtful touch. Although it was a non-smoking room, there was a smoking area very close to the hotel, which made it tolerable. I would definitely consider staying here again for a solo trip! Thank you.

Perhaps because it was self-check-in, I didn't receive the amenity bag mentioned in other reviews. Maybe you get one if you check in at the counter? Near the entrance, there's coffee and a microwave, which is a great amenity for coffee drinkers or those who get takeout. Pros: * Self-check-in is available. You can select Japanese, so it's easy to use. * Water is in the fridge, but also near the entrance, and you can grab more yourself if you run out. * Body towels are provided in the room. * Multiple charging outlets are located by the bed. * Lots of restaurants nearby. * There's a bathtub. * Instructions for using the air conditioning are posted in the elevator. Things that bothered me or were disappointing: * When I got off the elevator, the door to my room was open. Since anyone can ride the elevator (it works without a key card, meaning anyone can enter and ride it), for security reasons, I'd really like the doors to be kept closed. Just in case, I checked under the bed and behind the curtains. That's when I found a bag under the bed, possibly left by the previous guest. * I was hoping to watch Netflix, but the remote didn't respond after dozens of presses, so I gave up on Netflix and YouTube and watched on my own phone instead.

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. The hotel itself is a bit run down and the room had quite a few flaws, but the wonderful staff and spacious rooms really made up for it. I can't imagine how people live in 14 square meter windowless rooms in the city center; here, at least, two people can comfortably coexist and enjoy the view from the windows! It's a leisurely 10-minute walk to the metro, and then 15-20 minutes by metro to the city center, depending on where you're going. There are plenty of places around to grab breakfast and even have a nice dinner after 10 PM. In short, if you're not overly picky and your goal isn't to stay cooped up in your room all day, then the value for money is decent! The photo shows the view from the room.

The location is very convenient, about a 5-minute walk from the subway and bus stations. The room isn't huge but is well-laid out, clean, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and check-in was quick. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would consider staying here again next time I visit [city].

I had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the dedicated female area requires a secure code to enter, which made me feel very safe as a solo woman.However, the room comfort was quite poor. I was assigned a top bunk bed, and the room was incredibly hot because the air conditioning had been turned off.The bathroom facilities are located outside of the room and consist of a universal toilet. While the shower itself was okay, the towel provided was tiny and looked like it had already been used.While the security for women is great, the hot room and poor linen quality mean I would likely look elsewhere next time.

It was nice that they let us take one drink per person, and the room was spacious and clean, which was nice😍 The staff were all very friendly! It was such a great experience that my Japanese friend said he wanted to stay here again when he comes to Korea❤️ I'm glad you made good memories.

The location is the best selling point, located right in front of Seoul Station Exit 10 (there's a short flight of stairs to exit the station). Hotel is equipped with an elevator. Room size is perfect for solo travellers that will be out all day and only need a place to sleep and shower. However, room space might be an issue if you have big luggages (I only had carry on luggage with me). The walls are a bit thin so I can hear the guests from the next room talking and switching off their lights, however I can't really fault it at the price that it is. Will definitely consider rebooking if im solo travelling in Seoul again.

I stayed for the whole week at this hotel. It is a nice small hotel that just 1 station away from Gangnam. Room is cleaned well everyday in the morning, they provide extra water and amenities at the 1st floor so it is nice. Internet speed is very fast and you have smart TV inside your room.

Stayed here again. It's close to Gangnam, and this time, this place was the cheapest. **Facilities:** They provide a free water dispenser with both hot and cold water, and a kitchen where you can cook. The hot water and air conditioning both work great. However, the bed rails felt a bit flimsy and wobbly. **Cleanliness:** Clean. **Environment:** It's comfortable when there aren't many people, but it gets very crowded when full... the space is just too small. **Service:** Average.

Great location, with several good restaurants nearby. The room was good value for the price. Myeongdong isn't much cleaner, and this place was a really good deal. They even provided disposable toiletries. Overall, I think it's a good place, especially considering how cheap it was.
