"Here's a breakdown of my stay, highlighting the pros and cons: **The Good:** * There's a lounge on each floor (or so it seemed) offering complimentary coffee and instant ramen. Laundry facilities, including a washing machine, detergent, and fabric softener, are also available for free use. I didn't personally use them, nor did I see anyone else using them. * The place was incredibly clean. Oddly enough, there were chairs in the hallway. * The location is fantastic! There are tons of restaurants nearby, so you'll never be short of dining options. It's also very close to the train station. * I had a late check-in planned, but the staff communicated with me beforehand via message, which put my mind at ease. After 9 PM, check-in is done via a kiosk. * I was able to request an extra room key. * The refrigerator is a good, family-sized one, and the freezer has plenty of space. * They even provide toothbrushes, which is a rare find these days! Bath towels are also included. You can freely replenish toilet paper and hand towels, and fresh bath towels can be obtained from the front desk. **The Not-So-Good:** * I could faintly hear karaoke sounds seeping through the walls, but it didn't bother me personally. * Because there's a PC center (or similar) and a karaoke establishment in the building, I sometimes had to wait for an elevator, as they were often full. * The shower drain had a slight odor. * While the shower and toilet are somewhat separated, they're very close together and the space is extremely cramped. Toilet paper, shampoo, and other items are placed directly above the toilet, so you have to be careful when showering to avoid soaking the toilet paper. There seem to be frequent complaints about the karaoke noise, and they appear to be taking measures to address it (I've included a photo at the end). Overall, it offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again if the opportunity arises."

"I chose this hotel primarily for its location and value for money. The room was small, and the shower was tiny, but that didn't bother me at all. I really appreciated the two Type-C and one Lightning charging ports, especially since my Type-C converter didn't work. Two bottles of water were provided in the room, but thanks to the free tea, water, and coffee, I hardly needed to buy any other drinks. Best of all, I was really looking forward to the free ramen, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! As a smoker, it was fantastic to be able to eat ramen and smoke on the rooftop. The staff even helped me with my heavy suitcase, which I was very grateful for. Compared to a standard hotel, you do have to be more mindful of keeping quiet, but I was extremely satisfied and would love to stay here again! Just one thing though! The toilet and shower are behind a sliding door right inside the room, so you can definitely hear everything from the toilet. Haha. If you're with someone you're shy around, you might need to come up with a strategy!"

"This was my third time staying here, and the location is still super convenient. Food deliveries come right to your room, and there are plenty of restaurants downstairs, plus coffee shops and convenience stores. The guesthouse is right on the main road, so no navigating alleyways. The area feels safe too, with lots of young people and university students around. There's a washing machine and dryer in the hallway, which is really handy. I switched rooms midway through my stay. The underfloor heating in the smaller room wasn't very warm, but the larger room was excessively hot – as someone from the south, I couldn't handle it and had to use the AC to adjust the temperature. I added the owner on WeChat, and they were always responsive and very helpful. All in all, it's perfect for a solo traveler. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!"

"Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Seodaemun Subway Station, nestled in an alley near an intersection. It's only three stops to Gongdeok Station, making it super convenient for transferring to other lines. Right outside the subway, there's a Lotteria fast food, a GS25 convenience store, Gong Cha, Paris Baguette, Mega Coffee, and several restaurants – truly a prime location. Self check-in and check-out were a breeze; you just type in the booker's name on the machine. The environment is pleasant, and the room was very clean, though it might be a bit tight to open two large suitcases simultaneously. A great tip: if you wash clothes, hang them in the shower room with the heater on, and they'll be dry by the next day, no need to use the dryer on the first floor. Both the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and they provided a well-stocked set of disposable toiletries. No need to separate trash; just leave it outside your door before 11 AM daily. They even collected our trash on the third day. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Seoul!"

"Environment: The room environment was pretty good, but it got very cold at night. The window was drafty, and since the bed was right under it, it was quite chilly. Facilities: It wasn't very soundproof, which might have something to do with my room's location. Cleanliness: It was quite clean. There was a slight odor, but the bedding was acceptable. For the price, I'm satisfied with a room like this. Environment: The location is excellent. Taxis and navigation are very accurate. Overall, it's pretty good, and there's even a small courtyard and common areas for guests to relax, which I think is great. The convenient location makes it easy to get anywhere.🫰🏿🫰🏿🫰🏿🫰🏿"

"I realized once I got near the area that I had stayed here 2 years ago! Everyone was so nice t seems the bathrooms are cleaner this time but the girls bathroom slides were really old/moldy looking. I do wish the bed had curtains and that there was a bit more common space but the full kitchen and all of the beauty products and even ladies personal items more than made up for it. It’s a little off the beaten path but ultimately walking distance from all of the shops at Gangnam station and Coex mall too! The restaurants around are delicious too. They let you store your luggage before and after which was nice."

"This was my daughter's first trip to Korea, right after she graduated from high school. The hotel was quick and polite in responding to my email inquiries. We were able to leave our luggage secured in the stairwell (though I was a bit worried leaving it unattended for a while) and head out for sightseeing. The location was super convenient, on the 3rd or 4th floor, roughly across from the Starbucks at the post office. There was a new building under construction right in front of us. When we checked in, a staff member was there to help us with our luggage. On the way out, I had a lot of bags and had to make two trips, which was tough, but it's great that there's a 7-Eleven a few doors down and plenty of other convenience stores, plus it's right off the main street, so no complaints there. I felt safe even coming back late at night. The double-glazed windows kept the outside noise out, but since our room was near the stairwell entrance on the 3rd floor, we could hear other guests locking and unlocking their doors in the hallway, which was a bit bothersome. The shower worked fine without any issues, though the water tended to pool a bit at our feet. It was nice to have shared towels and water available, and the amenities were well-stocked, the hairdryer had good power, and the tea and kettle were appreciated. The refrigerator, however, didn't work; it wouldn't cool anything. I managed by putting ice from 7-Eleven in a cooler bag for yogurt and drinks. We pushed the twin beds together and had a comfortable 'girls' night,' feeling right at home. The price was reasonable, the location was convenient, and there wasn't a large lobby like in bigger hotels, so we could get to our room quickly. The compact layout, with the restroom right nearby, was actually a relief for our tired feet after a lot of walking. There was no room cleaning service. We learned to hang towels in the bathroom to keep the floor from getting wet and uncomfortable. It's also a good idea to put trash bins and slippers outside the room. The self-service check-in/check-out machine was great, allowing us to do it at our own pace. I'd definitely want to stay here again."

"I’ve met 2 employees there, both very well managed, good command of English and considerate. I felt welcome the moment I step into the hostel. The bed is soft and comfy. Secure, as they use passcode instead keycard. Nice supply of juice and coffee 24/7 at the pantry. Location is near to hongink station and the happening red-walk. Recommended!"

"When I arrived in the early hours, I couldn't open the door with the code. I ended up WhatsApping the owner, and three minutes later, they realized I had mistakenly booked another hotel. Luckily, I eventually got to the right place, and I'm very grateful for the owner's understanding and help. The hotel itself is clean, and the TV has YouTube and Netflix, which is great! I stayed on the 4th floor, and on the 5th floor, there's a washing machine with detergent pods, a microwave, and a stove. Plus, the hotel is close to the subway. I'm very satisfied with this hotel, and I would choose to stay here again if I visit Korea in the future."

"For budget wise, consider good. The place also is clean and quiet. But a few comment, The place a bit mess with the hostel stock which is less impressive. So not a cozy and spacious hostel. For my bedsheet, it was a bit smelly. Hopefully it’s had been changed. The location is a bit tricky as well."
