Tt_hurleyI recently stayed at this hotel, and overall it was a very clean and quiet place, which I appreciated. The amenities in the room were impressive — there was a coffee machine, body wash, shampoo, soap, hand soap, a steam clothing care machine, washer and dryer, and even a mini kitchen. Those features made the stay very comfortable and convenient.
However, there were also several downsides. First, they don’t provide toothpaste, which was surprising. While it’s normal to bring your own toothbrush in Korea these days, especially as hotels try to reduce plastic use, most places still offer toothpaste — but this one doesn’t. So, make sure to bring your own.
There are no phones in the rooms, so if you need to contact the front desk, you have to call the hotel directly. Unfortunately, they rarely pick up the phone. I found it was easier just to go downstairs. Additionally, the front desk is closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., so if you need help late at night, you’re on your own. They also don’t lend items like phone chargers, slippers, or toiletries — instead, they direct you to purchase them. If you want to use Netflix and Disney+ you must use your own ID and password. Even cheap hotels in Korea offer complementary Netflix and Disney+.
Housekeeping is only provided for stays of three nights or more, which I didn’t like. For a two-night stay, they don’t come to clean or refresh your room. Personally, I expect fresh towels and a made bed when I return to the room, especially at this price point.
Check-in and check-out were easy, and luggage storage is available. If you order food or packages through apps , be aware that deliveries are only made to the first floor, not your room, which is different from many other Korean hotels. There’s also a small fitness center and a clean, relaxing lounge area.
The front desk staff speak English, but I didn’t encounter anyone who spoke Chinese, even though there were quite a few Chinese tourists. There is, however, a multilingual kiosk available for check-in and check-out.
Overall, while the hotel is clean and quiet, and the in-room facilities are great, I felt the price was a bit high for the level of service provided. Once you check in, you’re basically on your own — don’t expect much support from the hotel staff. If you’re looking for independence and a spotless room, this could be a good option, but if you expect full service, this may not meet your expectations.
