"Whenever I visit Seoul, I always stay here. The hotel has a direct indoor walkway to Yongsan Station, so you don't have to worry about getting wet on rainy days. It's also incredibly convenient for getting to Myeongdong, Yeouido, and Itaewon. I stayed in a high-floor room with views of Namsan Tower and the Han River. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a huge plus. The front desk staff communicated smoothly, were polite and efficient. If you arrive early, they can hold your room for you, and you can store your luggage and head out to explore!"

"My daughter and her dog stayed here this time. She was very happy with how spacious and clean the room was! It seems like we even got an upgrade, thank you so much. Next time I visit Korea, I'll definitely be staying here with my dog too. (When booking through Trip.com, you can't reserve for a dog, so I contacted the hotel in advance to confirm, and then called them again after booking to secure a pet-friendly room. There's an extra charge for the dog.)"

"Not a bad hotel. The most convenient thing about it is the 24-hour CU (convenience store), whose staff are always friendly and polite. Now I have to mention the downsides, which, to be honest, I wasn’t prepared for at all. The first and main drawback is that I was supposed to get an Executive class room. However, instead, I stayed in a Deluxe class room. Let me clarify right away: I had previously stayed at the Swiss Grand Hotel under the Play&Stay package, which means I didn’t know what room category I would be given until the very end. To make things easier for me and avoid having to check out and check back in, they gave me one standard room for the entire stay. You can imagine my surprise when I found out that my new friend, who also checked in under Play&Stay for the same dates as me, was given an Executive class room – even though she checked in later. So basically, I could have been staying in better conditions. When I received my voucher from Trip.com and saw that it listed a room like my friend’s – nothing like what I actually got – I went to the front desk. The administrator just smiled and shrugged. All he said was, 'You agreed to stay in that room.' Yes, I agreed, but no one told me about any alternatives at check-in… And the situation was NOT resolved at all. That said, I can’t say the conditions in the Deluxe Room were bad (otherwise I wouldn’t have let it slide). It was quite cozy, spacious, and overall pleasant to stay in. That said, one day, the person in charge of housekeeping apparently decided I didn’t need to take a shower, so they removed the shower gel container for a whole day (luckily, I had brought travel-sized ones with me, even though I had hoped I wouldn’t need them). Other than that, everything was fine, and even that somewhat questionable attitude from the staff didn’t ruin my vacation."

"Comfortable and clean, but most importantly, it's incredibly close to Myeongdong shopping street, just a 3-minute walk away. I highly recommend the executive floor rooms. While the breakfast and dinner at the club lounge aren't as varied as a typical buffet, they are more than sufficient and delicious. We left full every morning, and after a long day of shopping, we didn't have to worry about finding food. If I come back to Korea, I will definitely stay at Le Méridien Seoul Myeongdong again! 😁"

"Beautiful hotel with a warm swimming pool, 3 restaurants (a delicious Chinese restaurant at 32th floor and a Hello Kitty café and restaurant), a small nail salon, various other amenities, a direct acces to a mall and various restaurants, and most important direct access door to Lotte World amusement park :) But the park close at 9pm and we tried to come back at 9.02 pm. The door was closed and the woman refused to let us back inside the hotel therefore we had to walk all around for about 30 more minutes. And when you are exhausted after a long day of walking in the park, it's very difficult. We were very disappointed and angry to spend so much money to stay in this hotel and not be able to enjoy the advantages. There was 2 other families (one with a baby) after us who also wanted to go back to the hotel so we were 10 people not able to go back because the time was 2 minutes past 9 pm. What a shame! Also the room was clean and had a very nice view on the Lotte tower but it was pretty small. The breakfast buffet has a huge lot of choices but the restaurant is very crowded and noisy and it feels a bit like being in a school canteen. There is a little kid buffet and that's lovely. Except the park that is like a small Disneyland, there's nothing much to do for tourists in that area."

"It is quiet and pleasant. Inside the hotel, there is an astonishingly well-maintained walking trail and the landscaping is incredibly beautiful. All the staff I encounter are kind. The condition of the room is also very clean. It was very close to Gimpo Airport, so the location was good, and there is an aviation museum nearby that children will love."

"I absolutely love this hotel! The lobby's atmosphere is fantastic the moment you walk in. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the environment was so nice and quiet, I slept perfectly soundly every night. The staff were also super attentive and thoughtful, making the experience absolutely top-notch! But the biggest highlight has to be the buffet restaurant downstairs – it was truly perfect! Every single dish was exquisitely prepared and delicious, each one a masterpiece. The taste was out of this world! This hotel completely won me over on my trip to Korea. I'd honestly be willing to come back to Korea just for this hotel. I'm already missing it since I got back home and can't wait to stay here again next time!"

"This hotel is perfectly located! It's just south of Seoul City Hall Square and west of Myeongdong. The subway station is only a few dozen meters from the lobby entrance, and Sejong-daero is right to the west. It's also not far from the major palaces and Namsan, so the location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While the facilities might feel a bit more compact compared to newly built five-star hotels in China, they are well-maintained and perfectly adequate. Overall, it offers great value for money."

"The staff are well dressed and the buffet staff at the front door looks like Korea oppa and most of the receptionists are polite and understand English. They are helpful and friendly. If from the scale 1 to 10, I will definitely give 10 and will introduce friends who want to travel to seoul to book novotel."
