📍 16 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet

"I stayed at Sea Horse in August 2024. This time is generally considered off-season and rainy season, and forecasts had predicted cloudy skies and rain. In reality, it was sunny the entire time, with temperatures ranging from +30 to +32 degrees Celsius. There was just one cloudy day with about 10 minutes of rain in the morning. We also saw a distant thunderstorm over the sea at night. Perhaps due to the off-season, the hotel was very quiet. There were probably only about 20 guests in total. Breakfast was deserted, the beach was empty, and there were maybe 10 people by the pool. Regarding the hotel: The grounds are extensive and lush with greenery. There's a small pond with red fish swimming in it. The accommodation consists of two main buildings (one of which directly borders the adjacent hotel, so some rooms face a wall) and bungalows scattered throughout the property. We stayed in a sea-view bungalow. It was about 20 steps from our door to the pool and a 100-meter walk to the beach. Our room was cleaned daily, and towels were changed every day. Check-in was fast; they held onto our passports and returned them upon check-out. Water bottles were replenished daily; two were complimentary, and additional ones cost extra. The room amenities included an air conditioning unit, a ceiling fan, a mini-fridge with a small freezer compartment, a safe, hairdryer, slippers, and bathrobes. The bathroom was spacious. The only downside was that the lighting throughout the room felt a bit dim. The TV only offered local channels. On a positive note, no critters found their way into our room, though we did see small lizards scurrying around nearby. There's one small pool, which features a shallow kiddie section and a jacuzzi area. A beach bar is conveniently located next to it, although we did occasionally spot some trash around. The sea was clean. While there might be waves in the evening, during the morning and daytime, it was very calm and still, almost like a lake. The hotel offers no entertainment. There's no mini-disco, no regular disco, no animators, etc. Perhaps this is due to it being the off-season? On the beach, tucked away in corners, you'll find jet skis and kayaks, and that's about it. Whether these are drawbacks or benefits depends entirely on your preferences. If you're looking for wild, non-stop fun, this isn't the place. But if you're after relaxation and enjoy listening to soft background music (which they do play by the pool), then you've come to the right address. Breakfasts were perfectly adequate. Some reviews mentioned they were meager, but I disagree. They offered omelets, eggs, salads, two kinds of porridge, and always a hot dish that varied daily (e.g., pork, beef, or chicken). Sausages, fruits, and three types of cereal were also available. While it might not be a lavish spread like a 5-star Turkish resort, it was more than sufficient, so manage your expectations accordingly. Across the road from the hotel, you'll find pharmacies, a couple of general stores, and various cafes. We frequently ate at Cafe Panda – it might look like a simple eatery, but the food is delicious, and the owner, who speaks Russian, is always there. Mojito Bar is also a good option. We decided to try the much-advertised Mr. Crabs, but we were frankly horrified and left immediately. If you're looking for a chaotic, noisy spot with long, dirty tables packed with five loud local families and their kids running around with food in their hands – then by all means, go there. We exchanged money directly at the hotel; it wasn't worth the effort to go elsewhere for a negligible difference in the exchange rate. The local tour operator, partners of Biblio Globus, were absolutely fantastic! They add you to a Telegram group and maintain constant communication, providing all the necessary information about excursions, cafes, spas, pharmacies, nightlife, and more. The guides were always available, which was incredibly convenient! Overall, it's a good, quiet hotel with lush green grounds and a sandy beach."

Muine Bay Resort

📍 Quarter 14, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet

"The breakfast wasn’t quite what I had expected. There wasn’t much variety, and most of the dishes weren’t the kind of food my family usually eats. However, the dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious, and we all really enjoyed them. The birthday cake was also wonderful and we loved it. Thank you for making the celebration special."

Aroma Beach Resort and Spa
9.8 (67 reviews)

Aroma Beach Resort and Spa ★★★★

📍 Quarter 5 - Phu Hai, Phu Thuy Ward, Phu Thuy, Phan Thiet

"We booked for 6 adults and one child. Overall, we were very satisfied with the Hotel and felt like we got great value for the price. On Check-In, 3 of our 4 rooms were upgraded for free due to availability, which was a positive surprise. Everything was clean, the breakfast was tasty with a mix of western and vietnamese food, the pool was very nice, amd you have immediate access to the beach. Small negatives: We ordered in-room dining once (pizza), which was not that good (as usual in asia). If you want to eat outside of the hotel, there aren't many options nearby, you have to drive a bit for that."

Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne ★★★★★
"Facilities: Very new, with a 1.2-meter deep swimming pool, very safe. Cleanliness: Extremely clean, rarely without geckos. Ambiance: The ambiance is highly recommended. The surroundings outside are quite poor, but once you enter the resort, you feel like you've arrived in a European town. Service: Everything was good, just that the shuttle bus required a long wait."

The Cliff Resort & Residences ★★★★
"First time we are staying at The Cliff, all the staff at The Cliff are so nice and well trained. We really enjoy our villa, they are so kind to arrange villa with wonderful view, we even can see the fireworks from Beach Club. But if you are a light sleeper, be aware buggies car will park there and staff will cleaning up (hard working) until midnight. So little bit noisy. One thing I would like to raise the question is : Why do you charge for the latte and espresso for breakfast? I do not see it at 4-5 stars hotel/resort."

Seahorse Resort & Spa ★★★★
"The hotel is old and the service is stingy. They make you pay 250,000 for a child's breakfast, even if the child doesn't eat in the mornings. The sea had big waves, so we never got to swim. We were there in July! Overall, I don't recommend it."

"Silent cozy place away from the town. There are no cafes shops and any activities nearby, so you have to go to the center. Can't avoid ladders moving inside the hotel, not the best option for baby strollers. There are two pools, one of them with a pool bar."
