"The views are absolutely stunning! Our room faced Mount Kailash directly, and when the weather was good, we could capture the golden sunrise on the peak right from our window. They also have a 'Sky Post Office' certificate and photo op spot right at the entrance, which is a nice touch. The front desk staff, especially the young ladies, were all very enthusiastic and helpful. My only regret is that the price is a bit on the higher side."

"The hotel was pleasant and the rooms reasonably size. Like a number of hotels I've stayed in China, the smell of sewer permeates the room at Yi Hao Hotel. It's caused by basic plumbing error where the wash basin outlet, floor water outlet and shower floor outlet were not installed with the standard U-bend to retain run-off water to create a reservoir that prevents sewer smell to returning back into the room. Not only is the sewer smell unpleasant, it's unhygienic. See the attached photo (from a different hotel in Tibet). China's national plumbing standards either needs upgrading or needs stricter enforcement. Prevention of sewer smell backflow is a very basic plumbing standard. Overseas guests from the tour group were complaining about the sewer smell. That's no good for China's international reputation. I was in a ground floor (Level 1) room close to the reception. The noise from the reception was loud clearly audible inside my room. Perhaps the hotel should install a door at the start of the corridor to the rooms to reduce noise pollution. Another point - the availability and the abundance of coffee is an essential breakfast element for foreign guests. Yi Hao did not provide coffee during breakfast."

The room has a humidifier and 24-hour oxygen supply, perfect. The only two drawbacks are the hot water: it's inconsistent in temperature and flow, making it impossible to take a hot shower after the trek. Also, the laundry room is in a construction site because the hotel is newly renovated; it's covered in dust, and the drum walls are filthy—I didn't dare use it."

"The most delightful surprise of this Mount Kailash pilgrimage was staying at the Mount Kailash View Hotel (Base Camp Branch)! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were deeply touched by the staff's warm and attentive service. The receptionist not only patiently answered all our questions but also proactively upgraded our room—when we opened the door, we could hardly believe our eyes: the room had two double beds, spacious and comfortable. Even more amazing was the view of the mountains from both the front and back of the room! Mount Kailash was directly in front, and Mount Namnani was behind us, both sacred mountains spread out before us. Waking up in the morning, drawing back the curtains, we were greeted by the magnificent sight of the golden sunrise illuminating the mountains—sacred and breathtaking. The bathroom in the room was clean and tidy, and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel's facilities were also reassuring; the underfloor heating and electric heated beds made the nights at high altitude exceptionally warm and comfortable, so we didn't have to worry about being cold. Most reassuring of all was the ample supply of oxygen provided by the hotel, which greatly alleviated our altitude sickness. At an altitude of 4,700 meters, such a warm, comfortable, and thoughtful accommodation experience is truly precious. I highly recommend it to every visitor to Mount Kailash; it's definitely the warmest rest stop on the pilgrimage route!"

"This time I came to fulfill my wish three years ago, to circumambulate Mount Kailash. This is the hotel I live in Saga, Lhaze and Tachin! ! (The pictures I took randomly are all from one of these three places) I really strongly recommend it. It is really rare to be able to stay in such a clean hotel with good service in such a high altitude area! There is an oxygen concentrator and a humidifier in the room! ! These two directly saved half the lives of the people in the plains! The massage couch was very very comfortable! It’s great to have a massage after circumambulating the mountain! ! By the way, I was given two bottles of water when I left. Anyway, thank you all three stores, I wish you good health and everything goes well🥰 I will definitely recommend it to my friends in the future."

"Location: Very easy to find, right at the foot of the mountain. If you're assigned a room in the front row, you can see Mount Kailash. If you're in the side row, you can catch the sunset!
