"Too bad... Certainly not what we had expected. The owner wasn't always very friendly, barely saying a good morning, and had no knowledge of the area or effort to give tips. Which is surely necessary in such a beautiful setting. While we give a 10 for the breakfast staff. Nice room, but cleanliness could be better as we found a lot of dust under the bed and a bill from 2023. When opening the windows, there was a lot of dirt all around. The bed didn't have a real mattress, just a topper on top. Very hard and unpleasant. It is a pricey site, so you expect a more extensive breakfast with more variety (the same every day)! Local artisanal products, which the Ardennes certainly has to offer, and not Meli honey in a plastic tube, for example. There are plenty of beekeepers in the area. Upon checking out, we were not asked if everything was to our liking, only an extra service charge of €20 on top of the bill for tourist tax and consumption (which is normal), for which we received only a weak explanation as to what the purpose of that was. Never had to pay that before. No, we are definitely not coming back to this hotel, but we will certainly return to this beautiful area!! The surroundings offer so much beauty!"

"The reception wasn't really warm, but it was correct. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill, serving as a good base for walks. We were there on the weekend of December 7th. There was absolutely no atmosphere in the hotel or restaurant, and it certainly wasn't pleasantly warm during a cold spell. No Christmas decorations whatsoever. The room wasn't really clean. We booked a package with a 6-course dinner. The food was tasty, but we didn't consider it refined cuisine. We wonder if 4 or 3 very small pieces of cheese (we can't remember) can be considered a course. We have eaten much better many times before for a total of 140 euros per person (aperitif included). No snack with the aperitif, not even a nut. It would be best to remove the Michelin stickers from the door from a long time ago. Breakfast was standard and okay. Upon checking out, we received the bill and that’s it… No questions like, for example, “How was your stay… Were you satisfied… Have a good trip back…” Just nothing. A shame, but the price-quality ratio isn't really okay!"
