"This is a castle hotel surrounded by vineyards. It features an outdoor heated pool, spa, sauna, and a simple yet elegant restaurant. While a car (taxi) is necessary to get there from the nearest station, it's a hotel well worth the trip. Breakfast is simple but consistently good. The only downside was the minimal amenities in the guest rooms (there was no hair conditioner)."

"What a fantastic stay. The property is beautiful, clean and well-appointed. Our room was on the first floor and overlooked vineyards - it was very comfortable. Breakfast was the ideal start for the day. Edouard was an excellent host from start to finish - his tips, wisdom and flexibility are unparalleled. The location is off the main road and half way between the train station and St Emilion - a ten minute (pleasant) walk each way. We shall definitely be back!"
