The breakfast was spot on, lovey fresh produce cooked really well. I don’t think I’d stay again as there was limited food and drink options in the area but that’s only is no reflection on the hotel."

"This is possibly the most picturesque YHA in the UK. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, for all the walkers out there, there is an abundance of path, walks, hills and mountains with some exceptional views. There are two inns on pretty much opposite ends that are well worn a visit. The hostel is pretty much all original features. For those who want to relax there are several bookshelves of excellent books. Good choice of alcoholic beverages, could do with a decent selection of non-alcoholic beers as well. But that's s minor quibble. Will definitely visit again."

So nice to see the pub making ago of it with different food events and themed evenings something gosforth needs to bring life back to the village. The hosts are brilliant nothing is to much trouble such a warm welcome"

"This property is in serious need of an update. Wallpaper hanging off the wall. Cups left for drinks were unusable. The outside of the shower was very mouldy. The wiring was very unsafe. The view from the window was the nicest part of our stay. I would not recommend this property to anyone."
