Since I saw some reviews mentioning not receiving the password beforehand, I contacted the hotel via Ctrip's online phone service and asked them to send me the password via email. I received the password promptly and checked in easily. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. The living room was quite spacious, and there was a balcony with sea and mountain views. The room had basic kitchenware and tableware, so we could buy groceries nearby and cook at home. The location was in the city center, very convenient for shopping and transportation. There was a Nordis restaurant downstairs, and a Chinese restaurant a short walk away. On the day of departure, I called the manager, and they gave us an extra hour for check-out. Their Wi-Fi password was posted behind the main door."

"Absolutely loved this hotel! The surroundings are incredibly photogenic, and the aurora often appears right on the mountain top across from the hotel. I even asked the front desk for aurora viewing recommendations, and they suggested a small church hill and by the pier. But honestly, you can just watch it from right outside the hotel. Otherwise, you'd have to head towards the city outskirts, and the two places they recommended weren't great, especially the small church – it was too cluttered with trees and rooftops. Plus, the hotel's lobby offers free 24-hour hot water, tea, and coffee, which is a huge bonus! I'm not sure if my room got an upgrade, but it felt much larger than I expected. The hotel has two floors, and the only downside is no elevator. So, it's best to pack your luggage strategically. If you're on the second floor, just take a few essentials up, and you can store your suitcase at the front desk. Of course, when checking in, if you're on the second floor, a staff member will help you with your bags, but you'll have to carry them down yourself when checking out. The hotel is about 600 meters from the pier and several large supermarkets, making shopping and getting around convenient. The parking lot is also spacious. All in all, fantastic value for money! "I extended my stay by one night. **Room:** For the first night, I was in a duplex room where the upstairs and downstairs shared a living room and kitchen. On the second night, I moved to a one-bedroom suite complete with a living room and kitchen. **Cleanliness:** Good. **Breakfast:** Plentiful. **Facilities:** The room for my first night was on the ground floor, which was convenient. However, my room for the second night was on the third floor with no elevator, making it quite a struggle with large luggage. The upside was a balcony with a fantastic view!"

"Die Unterkunft liegt etwas vom Hotel entfernt. Anmeldung und Frühstück erfolgt im Hotel (nicht in der Unterkunft) ist aber fußläufig schnell und einfach erreichbar. Das Zimmer ist einfach ausgestattet, die Betten sind schmal. Der Gemeinschaftsraum ist toll, bietet viel Platz, falls man zu mehreren dort ist und es gibt einen tollen Ausblick Das Hotel bietet ein gutes Restaurant mit leicht gehobenen Preisen und guter Qualität Wir konnten umsonst parken, es sind aber nicht all zu viele kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden"

"The most favorite and satisfied hotel in the Lofoten Islands. The hall is full of floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides. When you turn off the lights and lie on the sofa at night, you can see the aurora. At night, all the curtains in the bedroom are opened with the stars to sleep, and you don’t want to leave. In addition, the small beauty at the front desk will speak very fluent Chinese, which is a big surprise! In short, super satisfied."

"I stayed at Svinøya Rorbuer recently, and honestly, it was such a beautiful experience. Our cabin had the perfect view for catching the northern lights — we literally just looked out of the window and there they were, dancing above us. Pure magic. The cabin itself was spotless and felt really cosy. One of the heaters wasn’t working at first, but the team came over and sorted it immediately, which I really appreciated. Fast, friendly service makes all the difference, especially in the cold! Overall, a lovely stay. I’d happily go back in a heartbeat."

"I live in a small apartment with all the amenities. The receptionist was very helpful and took the initiative to help me carry my luggage. Location on the other side of henninsaver, some distance from the main street, heavy snow walking would be a bit strenuous. Outside the living room window is the sea and snow-capped mountains. Stayed for three days and was very comfortable"
