"Having stayed at a "Ziguang" hotel in Zhaotong before, I chose to continue trusting them… There are two "Ziguang" hotels in Shuifu City; this one is the closest to the Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station, offering views of the dam from the rooms. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with convenient facilities. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I especially appreciate the attentive and warm service from the young woman on the second floor who took our order! Parking is convenient! The breakfast was good!"

"1. When initially booking the hotel, we thought the overall management would be better than that of a guesthouse, so we booked this hotel. However, upon check-in, we were actually checked into a guesthouse. The room was labeled as a hotel, but it was actually just a few rented houses renovated to serve as hotel rooms. It took about ten minutes to walk from the actual hotel lobby to the room. The building to our left was another guesthouse, and the building to our right was a residential building, making the security very poor. When we inquired with the hotel, the front desk said that's how they operate, and gave us a few free pool tickets. 2. Our group of four children played in the pool for a while, and all of them injured their feet, with broken skin and a little bleeding. We suspect it was due to broken tiles on the pool floor. There were no staff members present, and no one provided any treatment. The front desk did not provide any medicine; we had to buy iodine and bandages ourselves. The injuries prevented the children from enjoying the hot springs and hiking, directly impacting our travel experience. 3. When we communicated with the front desk, besides an apology, they said they could take us to the clinic for treatment, but offered no other solutions. 4. The room had a huge number of mosquitoes; we killed seven or eight in one night."

"Choosing Mancheng Forest for this short trip exceeded all my expectations! The room was really spacious, and the four-piece bedding set provided by the hotel was super comfortable! It was the best night's sleep I had on the trip! The forest was also very photogenic! Most importantly, everyone at the hotel provided excellent service! There's a small shop inside the hotel with very reasonable prices 👍 When we got hungry at night, the receptionist even brought instant noodles to our room, and to make sure we didn't run out of water, she gave us four extra bottles of spring water 😭😭 Anyway, for around 500 RMB including three meals, it was totally worth it!!! The food was fresh and plentiful; they prepared three dishes and a soup for the two of us for every meal! There was so much to experience; one day wasn't enough 😭 In short, Mancheng! I'll definitely come back next time!"

Near the pillow there is a switch to turn on the electric mattress, very convenient to get warm in the night. To switch on heating using aircon remote, press all buttons until you set required temperature and fan speed and press the yellow button. No breakfast. No lift. Someone came knocking on the door at 1 am. Twice."
