Make sure to double-check your room, as they initially gave us a different room from the one we booked, though they changed it quickly after we contacted them. One tip — visit Kirkjufellsfoss early in the morning. There is almost nobody there, and you can enjoy the whole mountain completely to yourself."

"I stayed here for two nights, booked through two different platforms. They upgraded me to a cabin with a kitchen, which was very convenient since I had my own car. The owners were welcoming and provided simple yet attentive service. It's very close to Seal Beach, and they put the key in the designated key box when I left. It felt like a vacation here—peaceful, relaxing, with ocean views at any time. I could easily cook my own meals, and the weather wasn't too cold, thanks to the electric heater. A comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended and thumbs up! 👍"

"Cottage is very basic and rustic. Some cottages have parking in front, others do not. The bed was fine but the pillows were paper thin with one per person. Bathroom was clean but needed some tending to. Pictures look great online vs in person. If you’re looking for a decent location that is a bit budget friendly, the cottages are fine. Just expect a rustic look experience."

"It was a very comfortable two days. The previous hostel I stayed at was terrible and left me feeling anxious about future travels. The room was clean, the shower was fine, the living room was comfortable, and best of all, the staff member, Angelina (sorry if I'm wrong), was incredibly kind. If I ever come to Iceland again, I'll definitely come and see Angelina. And it was great value for money."
