"Hallways smelled heavily of **** smoking and then some animal urine the next day. The **** smell was atrocious— filled the entire hallway on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Room was fairly decent, but others in our group had issues with theirs. Outside of building was horrible- literally 3ft tall weeds around all grass areas. Front desk lady was exceptional!! Helpful, funny and just a pleasant person to work with!!"

"This is a lovely B&B on a quiet street but within walking distance to the town square. The living area, coffee bar area and outdoor covered patio (with hot tub) are available to guests and Melissa (owner) leaves a freshly baked treat on the kitchen table for guests. I stayed in the Mighty Oak room at the end of the hallway. It was very spacious with a king bed and an additional bunk bed (full bed on bottom, twin on top). Even though I was alone, it would have been spacious enough for a couple with a child or two, or for a girls' get-together. The bathroom was also spacious with a shower/tub combo (grab bars also). Breakfast was served buffet style in the kitchen and was outstanding. The hosts are very gracious and the home is super clean. However, I do have just a couple comments: the king mattress in the Mighty Oak room is very soft; if you are in need of a firm mattress, this may not be the best choice. Also, it would have been nice to have a box of Kleenex in the room. March is definitely allergy season in Texas and I ran out of my travel-size tissues. Other than that, I will definitely stay here again!"
