"It was a nice experience — the location is quite convenient, just a short walk from the main street. It’s easy to grab a GrabBike to go anywhere, and there’s a supermarket and a Miniso right outside the hotel. The rooftop restaurant has a great view, and the breakfast tasted even better than I expected. Most of the staff were very friendly, except for Isama — I’m not sure if she was being racist or something, but while she smiled warmly at white guests, she kept rolling her eyes at me and my friends.

"The hotel was quite good and thoughtfully arranged a quiet room for us, even though it is located very near the mosque. The location is super strategic, making it easy to access nearby attractions. Unfortunately, the weather at the end of December was not great, so we were unable to enjoy the beautiful sunset.
The service was good, and the staff were able to resolve our requests within an acceptable timeframe. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, which we really enjoyed.
The complimentary 15-minute leg spa was a lovely touch and made me feel very comfortable after a long day trip."

"Beautiful hotel with good breakfast. The sunset view was stunning. We got two standard rooms with no windows for one night. Good and comfy enough. One negative point was loud noise early in the morning from other guests or workers. It's location was also not very convenient to get to the main street."

"This hotel made me remember the name Sudamala! Excellent in every way!
1: I absolutely loved the food at this hotel. Every dish was delicious, and I especially loved their chili sauce! My mouth is watering just thinking about it... The fish on the menu, local Indonesian specialties, skewers, seafood soup, salads, desserts – everything was so good! And the best part is, it's not expensive! Two people can eat very well, including drinks and dessert, for just 100-200 RMB!
2: The hotel's decor is thoughtfully designed, and I particularly love the color scheme! It has the vibe of a five-star Maldives hotel. The environment is beautiful, like a garden, and I enjoyed strolling through it every day. The air is fresh and relaxing! Although it's smaller than many large resorts, it has everything you need – small but perfectly formed!
3: The hotel is great for snorkeling, and they even offer free kayaks. The beach right in front of the hotel is full of extensive coral gardens. With such great snorkeling right there, you don't even need to pay for an ocean excursion. (Of course, you still need to go see the Komodo dragons!)
4: The value for money here is unbeatable. Standard rooms are only a few hundred yuan, and I chose a Villa suite for just over 1000 yuan. Honestly, it's comparable to a regular five-star hotel in the Maldives, but at a tenth of the price. Having just returned from the Maldives, staying at this hotel felt like such a bargain.
5: The only downside is that I'd recommend more staff training. The male receptionist at the front desk couldn't help with anything I asked, which was a bit of a damper."

"The interior decor is about on par with a youth hostel in China, featuring old, simple wooden furniture. The tables and shelves are very narrow, so my belongings kept falling off every day 😂.
Initially, I was given a ground-floor room, and the smell was truly something else. When I asked to change rooms, I was told they were fully booked. I finally got to move to an upstairs room on the second day.
Just as others have mentioned, the bedsheets and duvet covers had all sorts of stains. The housekeeping girl, however, was very sweet. She brought three bedsheets until we found one that looked a bit cleaner. She said they send them to a specialized company for washing, so I guess the cleanliness of bedsheets across the entire island is probably similar.
This 'hotel' and the Green Cherry restaurant upstairs are run by the same people. It was also the only restaurant on the island where I spent money and didn't feel full – it was genuinely expensive and unappetizing.
If it hadn't been a non-cancellable booking, I really would have wanted to switch to another place to stay... 😌"

"Excellent hotel with outstanding service. The room was spacious, aesthetically pleasing, and offered a stunning sea view. The view was truly spectacular and breathtaking, especially during sunset—when the sky transforms from orange to red and then purple. We really enjoyed every moment.
Breakfast was delicious—probably the best in Komodo. I particularly liked their serving concept: instead of a traditional buffet, it’s an à la carte menu combined with a small buffet. You simply choose from the menu and the dishes are cooked on demand, which makes the food noticeably fresher and tastier than standard buffet options.
There are also many complimentary activities such as snorkeling and yoga, making the hotel perfect for both couples and families. We will definitely come back again."

"The location is fantastic. Walking distance to shops, cafes and harbour. The owner, Guissepe or Pepe, is very friendly and welcoming. His restaurant Baccala Bajo is busy with tasty Italian cuisine fron Sicily. The rooms are very clean, spacious and bed was comfortable. There is a fridge and a frypan to prep brekky if need be. Highly recommend and would stay here again."

Environment: The Komodo 'ceiling' (meaning top-tier/best you can get), no need to compare; it's outstanding even in the off-season.
Service: Warm and friendly, always responsive, communication was smooth.
Although the food was mostly 'white people food' (Western cuisine), the quality was very good, and the flavors (both salty and mild) could still satisfy a Chinese palate.

The environment is quiet and comfortable, the beach is clean, the water is clear, the service is thoughtful and sincere, the room is spacious, comfortable and nice, the breakfast and dinner are delicious and rich, and the beautiful sunset and starry sky can be seen when you open the door. The hotel's pier allows boats to dock, and you can make an appointment in advance to pack breakfast boxes, which is very convenient for a day trip.

YYu～～The sunset sea view here is absolutely stunning. The pool is clean, and breakfast is delicious. The poolside restaurant is also reasonably priced with excellent food. While the pool is right by the sea, there's no sandy beach. Food deliveries can only be dropped off at the guardhouse, which is a bit of a walk. The room facilities are a bit dated. A minor inconvenience was that I couldn't replace the showerhead with my personal filtered one. The service was excellent, with all the staff being very friendly and welcoming. It's a 15-minute walk to the city center, and there's an airport shuttle service. Arranging your own taxi is also convenient.

The staff is quite friendly, only I was disappointed with the PIC receptionist, I ordered take away breakfast because I was picked up in the morning by the tour for a 1 day trip, it turned out it was not provided. So on the day, I had to wait again. For the shuttle to the airport, it was also combined with guests with a 13.30 flight, asked to wait past the time I reserved, even though my flight was at 12 noon. The variety & quality of breakfast is very lacking for a 5 star hotel.

While the distance might inconvenience some, that was exactly what we were looking for.
As mentioned in the other comments, the hotel isn’t the easiest to get to as you have to go down a little goat path if you come in from the top of the mountain.
Definitely recommend getting the shuttle offered by the hotel to pick you up from the airport as our taxi driver had a hard time finding it haha.
Super friendly staff, ready to help no matter the issue, even carried our (and in my case very heavy) suitcases down the path.
Food is average but prepared with care. Electricity and (hot) water is limited and internet is only available in the main area from 6-9pm but they extended that time for us as we were the only people there at that time.
Cute little beach in front of the hotel though there is a lot of trash (not the hotel’s fault- visible across all the islands)
Just 1 tip: BRING MOSQUITO SPRAY! 🤭

GGuest UserPlace looked like the pictures but was a bit more dirty in the corners of the room but otherwise no problem. Staff was friendly and helpful. The place is a bit far from the airport however only 10min walk to the harbour. There was also a prayer place right across the street so it got very loud at 2am

张张The hotel is opposite the Sylvia Hotel. The rooms are in general sanitary condition. The room is on a hillside. The hotel is on a very steep slope. The roads and beaches are average. The breakfast is very simple. The conditions for a rowboat to play nearby are much worse than Sylvia, but the price is also cheaper. Generally, it is very good for people who travel in an adventure spirit.
