"This was my third stay, and I chose this hotel again because my previous two experiences were so good. However, this time was truly unacceptable. We arrived at the hotel around 11 AM. My daughter had injured her leg while skiing, so we asked the middle-aged woman at check-in if we could check in early. She said yes, but we'd have to pay for an additional day – what a rip-off! The funny thing is, they told us we could wait in the lobby until 3 PM without paying. The lobby was nice, so we decided to wait there instead of wasting about 1700 RMB. But then, to our surprise, we saw the staff taking our luggage and other belongings to our room much earlier, while we weren't allowed to enter. Crazy! On top of that, the Wi-Fi signal this time was incredibly poor, almost unusable. Reporting it to the hotel didn't help either; we had to use our own data. So, this stay was truly, truly, truly disappointing! Attached is a photo of my daughter in a wheelchair, and they still wouldn't let us check in early. That middle-aged woman was so inhumane!"

"The hotel has a back entrance that's much more convenient than the main entrance shown on Google Maps, especially when it's snowing, as it cuts down on outdoor walking. You just walk straight from Lithium Road 7-chome and cross a small street. We stayed in the new annex building this time, and the room was new and surprisingly spacious! It was also very clean. The hot springs are on the 9th floor of the main building and are very relaxing. All the front desk staff were very friendly. The hotel's location is great, with Aeon and 7-Eleven right downstairs. It's also within walking distance of Odori and Susukino. There's even an airport shuttle stop within a 10-minute walk.
The only minor downside was that the Wi-Fi in the annex sometimes wasn't very smooth, and videos would buffer a bit."

"The room was spacious enough for four suitcases. We also enjoyed the hot spring bath upstairs. My travel companions loved it! There's a convenience store right downstairs, which was very handy. I especially loved the pillows in the room; I slept so well every night that I wish I could buy one to take home. It's only a 10-minute walk to Daimaru, Susukino, and Tanukikoji. The airport limousine bus from New Chitose Airport stops right in front of the hotel's South Wing, and for the return trip to the airport, you just need to cross the street to catch the bus. Super convenient! I'll definitely book this place again on my next visit."

"We stayed at Hotel Mystays Sapporo as a family traveling with a baby. The location of the hotel is excellent, very convenient for getting around Sapporo, with many attractions, shops, and restaurants nearby. This made our stay much easier and more enjoyable, especially when traveling with a baby.
When we first entered our room, we unfortunately faced a few issues. The phone was not working, and part of a wall fixture was coming off, which raised safety concerns for us as parents. It was disappointing to receive a room in this condition, especially when traveling with a baby where safety is a priority.
However, we would like to highlight the very professional reaction of the hotel staff. Once we reported the problem, they responded quickly and seriously. They upgraded us to their biggest room and fixed the issue, making sure we felt comfortable and reassured. Their attitude and willingness to solve the problem made a big difference and turned a negative first impression into a positive experience.
Another strong point of the hotel is the restaurant inside the hotel, which was excellent. The food quality was very good, and the convenience of having such a good restaurant on-site was invaluable for us as a family. We ended up eating there almost every night.
Overall, while we were initially disappointed with the condition of the first room, we were very satisfied with how the staff handled the situation, the great location, and the quality of the restaurant. Thanks to their responsiveness and professionalism, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future."

"stayed at JR Inn Sapporo Kita 2 Jo from 13–17 February 2026, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located about an 8-minute walk from Sapporo Station, which made getting around very easy. Even though the city was beautifully blanketed in snow, the roads were well maintained and accessible, so walking to and from the station was not an issue.
The room was cosy, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I was truly impressed by the overall cleanliness and thoughtful amenities provided.
One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is the public bath. It was my first time experiencing a Japanese-style public bath, and it added a special touch to my trip. It was relaxing and well-maintained — definitely a memorable experience.

"The room was decent, no bathtub but the hotel has a public bath, which is standard for a business hotel. It's near Nakajima-Koen subway station, just across the street. A heads-up for everyone, it's in Nakajima Park, so if you're not near Susukino or Odori, it's a bit of a walk. It's not out of the way, but you do have to walk. Sapporo's subway isn't as frequent as Tokyo's, so sometimes walking might get you there just as fast. It's quite a hassle to drag luggage and parents through the snow when you can't use the underground walkway."

JJiaoxilaoshiThis is by far the best onsen hotel I've ever stayed in! It's located around Jozankei town, with a shuttle bus service from Sapporo, making it very private and quiet. The room is spacious enough, and the private onsen is excellent – my skin felt so smooth after a soak. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows were quite high-tech. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a healing view of the snowy landscape, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a raccoon! The service was top-notch, patient and enthusiastic. I have to rave about the food at this hotel; the Italian dinner was incredible, every dish was superb, using seasonal local ingredients and beautifully presented. After dinner, you can even take some rice balls, desserts, and drinks back to your room. The hotel has a smoking room and vending machines, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. I'd love to come back again in the summer if I get the chance.

That allows a tranquil and relaxing environment which you can truly enjoy the stay and immerse yourself into the nature. The resort is beautiful and room is super spacious. The buffet is wonderful. All the food are very fresh which make you feel very healthy. The onsen are nice. However, I found the temperature of outdoor bath too high. I feel recharged after the stay, both physically and mentally.

GGuest UserFirst off, the environment was great, and the facilities felt like a proper hotel. The deluxe single capsule space was also very comfortable. However, my room key, which was in its holder, went missing from my bed! When I went to check out after freshening up, I found the key holder empty. I retraced my steps for dozens of meters, but couldn't find it anywhere. I strongly suspect someone stole it when I went to freshen up and didn't close my curtain... Even though I've stayed in many hostels, I've never had anything stolen before... This card seems to be for accessing floors and the main door, not specific bed numbers, so everyone, please be careful with your personal belongings. Then, it was already checkout time, and I was charged 2000 yen for the lost card. The most frustrating part was when I came back to pick up my luggage. I was sitting at the counter next to the front desk for a few minutes waiting for someone, and then a middle-aged lady from the front desk specifically came over to tell me that after checking out, I wasn't allowed to sit in any of the public areas... I was practically kicked out, and my impression of the place instantly soured.

AAnonymous UserLocation: If you couldn't book the hotel's free shuttle or the Kappa Liner bus, you can take rapid bus #7 or #8 from Sapporo city center to Daiichi Hotel Mae, and the hotel is right there. There's also a bus to Sapporo Ski Resort that stops at the same platform.
Room Amenities: The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious, and it even had its own private hot spring bath.
I booked a package that included breakfast and dinner. The food was just okay, but there was a self-service bar and some snacks.

There’s also a restaurant inside that offers an affordable meal, but it is only open from the afternoon to midnight. You can stay at the hostel the whole day if you want. And one of the things I like about this hostel is the view from the outside, where you can see streetcars passing by. Amenities are on point. Overall, the location, amenities, and cost are advantages of this hotel.

If you're looking to shop, staying in Sapporo is more convenient. However, this hotel is a good option if you have an early flight the next day. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell; I suggest the hotel improves its ventilation.

GGuest UserAlthough it's 700 meters from Susukino Station, dragging luggage through several intersections and streets was tough, especially with the snowy, slippery roads – it was easy to fall.
The disposable slippers in the room were very thin and only replaced every three days during cleaning. There was no bottled water or tea bags in the room, though there was a water dispenser on the floor. On the first day, we got free coffee packets, but after that, you had to buy them at the downstairs cafe.
Even though the room had air conditioning, the bathroom had no heating, and the room's heating didn't reach the bathroom. This made showering really cold, which was the most unbearable part.
On the plus side, there was a washing machine with a drying function, and we got one laundry pod per day. A fridge, microwave, and induction hob were also provided.

Booking the bus from Sapporo to Jozankei was convenient, and we saw many Japanese seniors staying there. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a good variety of fruits and vegetables, and everything was pretty tasty. It was also very convenient for my trip to Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort. Recommended!

GGuest UserIncredible value for money stay in the heart of Sapporo. I have never stayed in a capsule hotel before which made me hesitant to book this hotel, however I am so glad that I chose it. The location is unbeatable, in the very heart of Sapporo, in Susukino district. There is an endless amount of izakaya and restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. The onsen and sauna was the best I have visited in Japan so far. I have heard the sauna is famous across Japan, and I can see why. It is kept impeccably clean and the entire facility is well maintained. The amenities such as unlimited towels, toothbrushes, razors and hair products are a great touch too. The capsule hotel itself was great, like the rest of the property, spotless clean and well kept. Despite being a capsule hotel, I heard no snoring for disturbance during the night. The breakfast was delicious and excellent value. Upon checkout, I requested to book again due to my great experience.

If you're afraid of heights, the elevator might be scary... I'll post a photo, even though it's not very photogenic.
