"Though room is small but for one person is fine. Room is new and neat. Pillow should give another one extra. Breakfast is good. 5min Walking distance to the airport express bus stop (Ana Crowne Plaza Hotel) and 5 min walk to the Odori Train Station. But location is slightly away from the Eatery area except the Lawson convenient store, just a few steps away."

"The room was incredibly spacious with plenty of beds, perfect for families with children. My kids absolutely loved it! It was also very quiet; we stayed for two nights and didn't hear any noise at all. My favorite part was definitely the sauna in the room – it was so relaxing. There was also a large bathtub, which the kids really enjoyed and had a blast playing in. The hotel breakfast was great too, especially the delicious bread."

"Between the JR Nikko Hotel and this one, the room size was the deciding factor in the end 🤭. We chose the South Tower, which is also relatively new, and the room was incredibly spacious – enough to open a large suitcase. It was also very clean. They have self-service laundry and a bathtub. It's about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station. A taxi ride costs around 1000 JPY, so it's convenient to grab one if you're tired. The New Chitose Airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. For the return trip to the airport, the bus stop is just across the street at the Crown Plaza. Taking the airport bus is much more comfortable than dragging suitcases through the snow."

"room was decently sized even for a double room! it wasnt too tight - sufficient space to open a large suitcase and walk around it. room came with an air purifier and you can adjust the room's temperature (heater, ventilation, purification, fan mode, etc.). hotel came with basic amenities (toothbrush, towels, soap, hair dryer, bottled water x2 a day). room was clean and had an onsen downstairs at B1 with a lounge area (with free coffee and tea) + dryers and washers available at 500Yen per wash. loved the space. additional hours for late checkout was 1000yen per hour max till 12pm, not an issue for us. they allowed us to store our luggages at the hotel lobby after check out!"

"As a non japanese speaker, i tried using google translate to give my request to the lady at the front desk which was a unique one.
I pointed to my phone and as i was typing ”I have 2 bicycles and need to know if i can park them here or go somewhere else, can you help me?”
she said in an increasingly loud and frustrated tone, despite me asking her to wait as i typed: ”passport, Passoport.. PASSPORT PLEASE!”
I showed her the translation and she let out a ”HUH?! Bicycle?!?” in such a rude way that made me feel like wow am i making a very complex request? did i speak rudely? did i ask a very difficult thing that's so absurd that she never heard it before? Either way i wish her well. perhaps she had a bad day or bad encounter before me. Just wish i didnt have to be on the receiving end of that. Still, the place is clean and has a bath house in the basement which is great!"

"This place is more than expect! We enjoyed onsen everyday! Very privacy and chill, both indoor and outdoor onsen in -12'c was amazing and set you warm! Room is small as in the picture but not a problem when trade off with the location / onsen / breafast japanese traditional (buffet ikura / mentaiko / sweet shrimps) We definitely would be back again for sure! "We had a wonderful stay at Protom International Hokkaido, and it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip.
The hotel kindly surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to the Junior Twin Suite, and the room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were so happy when we entered the room — it felt bright, modern, and very relaxing, especially after a long day of travel.
What touched us the most was the kindness of the hotel staff. Everyone was polite, warm, and always ready to help. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcomed, not just as guests, but like friends.
We are very grateful for the upgrade and the wonderful service. This stay made our Hokkaido trip even more special. We will definitely choose Protom International Hokkaido again next time.

"Amazing hotel. Close to the TV tower and the park. The train station is also not far away. It's convenient for when you have to walk with your luggage in the snow. Relaxing hot bath. Lavish breakfast with a lot of options. Outstanding service.
The only complaint is that the laundry service was closed for the holidays and there is no self service laundry in the hotel. The closest one was 20 minutes away."

"When I first entered the hotel room, my initial impression wasn't great; some of the furniture looked a bit old. However, after staying for two weeks, I grew to love it more and more. Firstly, Japanese hotels excel in service; everyone, from the top management to the housekeepers, is Japanese. This is a stark contrast to my experiences in Osaka where many staff were Vietnamese, in Nagoya with many Indians, or in Tokyo where the front desk was often staffed by people from India. The hotel has a public bath on the second floor, which was incredibly comfortable for a soak after returning on a cold winter night. The central heating in the room was very effective and cozy! The shower pressure was also excellent, genuinely good! I'm planning to come back next year for a month to see the snow! This is my top choice for staying in Sapporo."

The room is even more magnificent and exquisitely beautiful. The feeling of soaking in the hot spring is really extremely comfortable and pleasant. However, the chair that is directly facing the window really makes people feel extremely uncomfortable. It is really stiff, and the back of the chair is pitifully short, and it simply cannot give the due support to the head and neck.

JJolinloverThe room was quite clean, and while the facilities were a bit old, I was prepared for that. Room service was very prompt, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and kind, granting us a late checkout until 12 PM. The complimentary water they sent was a generous touch. However, the humidifier was really ineffective; it didn't increase the humidity and only blew out hot air. I hope they can replace it. I can't comment on breakfast as it wasn't included. The hotel is very close to the JR station and conveniently located next to two department stores, making dining easy. Since the hotel is quite old, it's a good option for a transit stay. When we left, a young lady at the entrance helped us call a taxi, and her attitude was excellent. If they could renovate the hardware, this hotel would be perfect.

SSuiranshijingshenbingdanshimeiguanxiA truly pleasant stay! The hotel is conveniently located, just a ten-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and the surrounding area is quiet. Although the room wasn't spacious, it was well-designed, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, were very friendly and welcoming, and proactively offered advice on city transportation. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, with a good mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and I especially recommend the freshly prepared hot food. The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's a highly cost-effective choice for both business trips and city sightseeing. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Sapporo.

If you're looking to shop, staying in Sapporo is more convenient. However, this hotel is a good option if you have an early flight the next day. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell; I suggest the hotel improves its ventilation.

The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, making for a great check-in experience. My only minor complaint is that the large public bath area looked a bit old and the water had a strong disinfectant smell.

TTek KooiNicely renovated hotel. Unfortunately staff are new and surprising not many front desk staff can converse in English.
Breakfast was good with many choices. However, we couldnt eat most of the time as my family has to go for activities early like skiing and local tours. The cafe staff allows us to start breakfast before the opening time but an English speaking lady with a coat turned up one morning and stopped us from starting breakfast early before the opening time. She was so rude and told us wait till 630 before we can touch the food!
I dont see why we cannot start with cereals that was already on display.
I will return to stay as the hotel is new, rooms are large and the onsen is clean and comfortable. There was a gym and laundry facilities too

KKODAIIt was my first visit in 18 years, since my elementary school field trip.
The facilities are a little old, but the hospitality was evident in the rooms, restaurant, pool, and spa. I was also pleased with the welcome sweets. It's a hotel I'd like to visit again, and I was very satisfied.
