Guest UserUpon arrival, we were welcomed with mango tea. Our luggage was promptly taken care of, and before we even entered our room, we received a detailed explanation of the hotel facilities.
There's a lounge next to the entrance with complimentary snacks and drinks. In the evening, light meals like instant congee are also available, making it a very satisfying lounge. The rooms aren't overly luxurious, but they have a simple yet stylish ambiance, making you wish your own home felt as warm and well-designed. The view from the room overlooks a valley and a river, with a hot spring bath right by the window. The hot spring bath itself is chic, and despite being an in-room bath, it's spacious and clean. However, the water was so incredibly hot, and there was so much of it, that I couldn't even dilute it with cold water, so I ended up using the hot spring on the first floor instead.
In the evening, there was an event, and we visited a shrine in Jozankei. We received free tickets for August 7, 2026. It was beautiful and highly recommended, just a short walk away.
Dinner was delicious, but not particularly impressive. Perhaps that's because I've stayed at so many different hotels.
Overall, it's a hotel I'd like to visit again.

Guest UserFacilities are pretty new and in pristine conditions. The staff is professional and quite helpful. We also used the hotel parking with our rental car.
The best part of the stay (and we would highly recommend trying) is the hotel breakfast buffet- great value for price! High quality food, great service and delightful variety.

Guest UserStayed in a room with a Ferris wheel view [laughing emoji]. Everyone visiting Sapporo should stay at this hotel directly above Susukino Station! The only minor inconvenience is that the lobby is on the 7th floor of the shopping mall, but otherwise, it's perfect [grinning emoji]. There are two Don Quijote stores nearby, and all major shopping malls are within a 15-minute walk. Tanukikoji shopping street is a guaranteed 5-minute walk (even with waiting for traffic lights). Plus, there are plenty of 24-hour restaurants around the hotel.

XunzhaolongzhudejiqimaoThis was my third stay, and it seems the room has been renovated, which is great. The price is reasonable, offering excellent value for money. The breakfast, as always, was outstanding. The lobby even has a duty-free morning market selling huge scallops! The staff are all very friendly and speak fluent English. It's super close to JR Sapporo and Hokkaido University, and an easy walk to Tanukikoji. Highly recommend!

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel.
We had some of the best sleep during our stay. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and soft, high-quality linens. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and very well soundproofed, with lots of space to store luggage and personal items, plus many useful amenities.
The entire hotel has a modern, clean design and is kept in excellent condition. The staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English, which made everything easy. They even provided umbrellas free of charge when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch.
The hotel bar also deserves a mention. The service was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the parfaits were delicious. Since parfaits are very popular locally in Sapporo, I definitely recommend trying one here.
The location is convenient too: just a short walk from Susukino and the Sapporo city center, close to the station by a few metro stops, and easy to reach by taxi.
Overall, this Marriott was a real gem. Because of such a pleasant experience here, I’ll definitely consider staying at other Marriott Courtyard hotels in the future.

This onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.

Anonymous UserI had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and nice, and they were even kind enough to offer me a late check-out at 1:00 PM, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, the public bath was a great feature, and the self-service luggage storage was very convenient.
the hotel is a bit of a walk from the metro, it is near a bus stop for the airport limousine. The breakfast variety was a bit more limited compared to other hotels I have visited. Overall, the hospitality made for a wonderful experience.

Guest UserFantastic hotel! Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, and there was a slight variation in the breakfast options over the two days. The room was incredibly spacious, with plenty of space to open multiple suitcases. The view was great, you could even see the Ferris wheel. Plus, it's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is easy to find, and having its own parking lot makes parking very convenient. The hot spring experience was excellent; after soaking, I felt completely relaxed and refreshed. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. The service was warm and attentive, and the overall environment was quiet and pleasant. It offers good value for money and is perfect for a relaxing getaway. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

Anonymous UserThere's a free shuttle bus service from JR Station, I took the 13:00 bus and arrived at the hotel at 13:45. The staff kindly allowed me to check in early, which was really nice. They have a water park and large onsen facilities. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious; even though the variety wasn't huge, the food quality was consistently good. The Chateraise desserts and ice cream bars were especially tasty! On the day I checked in, there were Japanese, Hong Kong, *********, Korean tour groups, and even a Japanese school group. Although there were a lot of people, the hotel grounds are extensive, and the buffet items were refilled very quickly both morning and evening.
The hotel has a classic feel, but everything is very well-maintained. The most traditional thing was that the air conditioning in the room was pre-set to 25 degrees Celsius, and the windows couldn't be opened. Given the current weather, it was a bit stuffy...
