"My room on the 22nd floor offered fantastic views; I was even lucky enough to witness a blood moon. In the evenings, I found dining options to be scarce if heading towards the TV Tower. However, if you turn left upon exiting the hotel, you'll discover many fantastic eateries, especially Nemuro Hanamaru Sushi, which is absolutely worth queuing for. Peking University is approximately 2 km away, and a Didi International ride cost 65 RMB. There's also a small convenience store to the left of the hotel that sells packaged bananas."

"Great value for money. The breakfast restaurant is located in the hotel's airy atrium, and the breakfast spread is quite generous, featuring a lot of local ingredients. It's right next to Odori Park, which was perfect for viewing the autumn leaves. Getting around is very convenient, with both the Namboku and Tozai subway lines not far away. The facilities aren't the newest, but what surprised me was that many of the front desk staff couldn't speak English."

"Location of the hotel is quite alright. Walking distance from Sapporo JR station less than a km. If you have heavy luggage then it would be an adventure rolling the bags along the sidewalk. - if convenient is your ultimate goal, booked hotels near or opposite of the station. - and if you want to book the hotel, it is quite a walking distance to the nearest station (non-JR). - (bonus tip) have a go at their Japanese breakfast (22nd floor), it’s worth it. + view of Sapporo. - it is an old hotel, the toilet can be a little on the smelly side. But if your preference is to stay longer, the price was not too bad for a 4 stars. - since it’s autumn nearing to winter, better to use Go taxi to get to all the attractions areas, if you are not used to the windy chill."

"The hotel and room just perfect for one. with the in house public bath you got to relax your body after and before a long day. am very enjoy staying here with a nice room view and all the facilities available . information on the tv is also useful showimg the status on congestion for public bath and breakfast. all in all am very happy to have stay for five nights here. location is very near to the bus station at north exit for sapporo station which is a plus for those who taking day tour that need to gather at the point, only about 7 minutes walk away. there is also a convenient store 711 right downstairs and starbucks as well."

"Hotel location was super close to food and shopping. Room was also clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful in providing info on how to take shuttle bus to airport, which was nearby, and allowed us to stored our luggage after check out. One of the best rooms I stayed at on my trip"

"The location is great, not far from the shopping street and Otaru Station. The hotel's private parking is ¥1500 per day, while the convenience store next door charges ¥1100, though figuring out their payment machine can be a bit tricky. The service was excellent; the staff were very polite. The exclusive large public bath for guests is a highlight. The men's and women's bath locations switch daily, so pay attention to that. There are clear illustrated instructions in the hotel room for the other steps, so you can't go wrong. The TV also conveniently displays the current number of people in the baths, which is very helpful. My only minor complaint is about the light above the mirror; it took me a while to find the switch (it was on the countertop). However, I must praise the fact that I could contact the front desk using Ctrip's free call service, which was very useful and helped resolve this issue."

"Our stay at Cross Hotel Sapporo was nothing short of amazing! We are a group of 5 & were traveling around Hokkaido, starting & ending off in Sapporo. We emailed the hotel to request if they could store some luggage for us till we return, as well as help us with restaurant reservations, and the staff were super prompt & extremely nice to accede to our requests. We even got upgraded to bigger rooms when we returned! We always felt so welcomed by the staff who were very attentive & so willing to help us. Needless to say rooms were very comfortable & onsen was great too (equipped with Dyson hairdryers). Location is also good, accessible via an underground passage all the way from the Sapporo station to Marumi Coffee Stand (so convenient cos it was raining when we arrived). Thank you so much for the great experience, I will gladly return to Cross Hotel!"

"Located near Nakajima Koen Station (Exit 3). Overall, it’s decent. There’s an escalator from the subway exit, which is convenient. The hotel is right next to Nakajima Park, great for taking walks, and there’s a Family Mart across the street. However, there’s no coin laundry, and no amenities such as facial cleanser provided. The air conditioning system is centralized, so the room temperature cannot be adjusted individually. The only way to make it cooler is to call the staff to open the window — but even when opened slightly, it makes the room too cold.  As for service, staff attitude and hospitality were below average for Japan, both at the front desk and the staff who came to open the window. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a foreigner, but their facial expressions and manner felt less welcoming than usual. I’d rate it 3/5. If you can find another hotel near the station for a similar price, choose somewhere else."

"*5/5 stars* I'm thoroughly impressed with our recent stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch - I mean, no dust on the windows? That's dedication! The staff's attention to detail was also impressive, with fresh towels delivered to our room every single day. We appreciated the ample supply of bath towels and face towels, too! The hotel's amenities were great, including the free coffee and tea in the pantry, which was a lovely touch. Ice is also free. We also appreciated being able to use the pantry to enjoy our takeout. The elevator was speedy, and the Sapporo TV tower view from our room was a highlight for the kids! The location was perfect, with Odori Station just steps away and an amazing miso ramen shop right beside the hotel. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the heated toilet seat was a nice touch. The air conditioner was quiet, which was a bonus. However, there were a few areas for improvement. The room wasn't cleaned daily, and the lighting could be brighter. The laundry soap in the washing machine didn't leave a pleasant scent on our clothes - it actually made them smell a bit off. We appreciated being able to check the washing machine timer on the TV, though. Despite these minor issues, we'd still recommend this hotel to others. The positives far outweigh the negatives, and we'd definitely consider staying here again. The bottled water was a nice touch, but we would've appreciated a few more bottles. *Pros:* - Impeccable cleanliness - Friendly and attentive staff - Great location - Free ice, coffee and tea - Heated toilet seat - Quiet air conditioner - Sapporo TV tower view *Cons:* - Room not cleaned daily - Lighting could be brighter - Laundry soap left clothes smelling unpleasant Overall, a great stay in Sapporo!"

"Very close to JR Sapporo Station , just 200meter from the north exit (about 5 minute walk) , near subway exit gate no.9 The property is clean and new , surround with restaurant and convenience store , full facility like onsen , free locker reom , free drink , fitness , ice dispenser in every floor The room size is not big but comfortable , well equipped The price is little high but worth it Overall is great , I will come back for next trip , recommended"
