"Trip organized through an agency, professional and friendly welcome from all the staff. Half-board: room not spacious, with stains on the carpet and in the hallways; it could use a complete overhaul; I have no doubts about the cleaning staff's goodwill, but... there's a lot to be improved. Bathroom reasonably comfortable, closet doors chipped in the room. The only positive thing was the daily change of bath linens. Dinner: no alternatives to the proposed menu (this could also depend on the agreements with the agency), but asking for a salad—I mean, a salad!—instead of an undesirable main course and being told that the kitchen is closed at 8:30 PM seems excessive! Not to mention the wine, which, in such a famous area, was mediocre. Breakfast wasn't exceptional, except for a few good cakes; the low point was the offer of plastic picnic-style spoons for dessert at dinner and breakfast!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Charleston! Our room was a superior room that was very attractive and had a very comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was great! The location of the hotel was very convenient, about a 3 minute uphill walk to the main shopping street in Spoleto and in walking distance to all of the sights and restaurants. Even the train station was only a 20 minute easy walk. The staff spoke English and were very accommodating. Highly recommend!!"

"The location is convenient, the rooms large (for Italy) and very comfortable, and the service excellent. We stayed for 6 days and were very happy. There is both paid parking in an underground garage and free parking in a fenced area (we used both). You can walk to the Piazza del Mercato, the various cultural sites, and the restaurants in minutes. You are near a main road, so you can easily visit the area by car. The pool is smallish but very pleasant."

"We recently visited Spoleto and stayed at the Clitunno hotel ,it was not a great experience I am afraid we did not find staff particularly welcoming j the room was small ,tired in spite of some renovations not a dressing table to put toiletries , breakfast was poor emphasis on cakes no hot buffet ,a small choice of cold meat (2) had to plug in the toaster plug on the floor and only one selection of bread indifferent staff very disappointed"

"The hotel is at the edge of Spoleto. Since Spoleto is not big, even then you can be in the city easily by walk only in 10 minutes. The view is great and the place is quite quiet. The rooms are spacious, comfortable even for 2 people. It must be a great hotel some decades ago, now already a bit obsolete. It seemed clean, but the time has already passed… There is an aircon, obsolete, but works well. I tried to ask help, but the safe didnt work properly. There is a “gym” at the 5th floor. It is a rooftop with windows around. You can imagine on a sunny day…There is something, which blows air inside but that only means not to have 39 degress there but 33. Almost impossible to exercise there after the sun comes up or at night. The pool is ok, although a bit small to be able to swim. The breakfast is fair, you can find better food than the tipical sweet calorie-bombs such as croissants, cakes, and other sugary food. It is a big pity, that in the heart of Italy vegetables are not available at the breakfast! Not even a tomato, or cucumber, etc. Thats why if u want to eat ham and bread, you have to eat as dry it is, no veggies. The staff was kind."

"Absolutely delightful one night stay. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are so comfortable. The airconditioning was the best I had in my two week stay in Italy (and 100% needed because of course I was there when it was unseasonably sweltering). There was a wonderful couple in the room next to me whose names are even on the door plate. They told me they are there often and would never stay anywhere else. Breakfast was very good. Parking was on site. Location is very close to one of the parking structures that connects to the Spoleto moving walkways."

"In July 2024 our family of two adults and two teenagers stayed for two nights at Valle Rosa. We enjoyed every moment staying at this picturesque place. The hotel is situated in such a nice place with stunning views of hills and valleys and Spoleto's old castle.
