The Perfect Family Inn provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Macau will find that the Perfect Family Inn is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is just 9km away from Macau International Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Mandarin's House, Travessa da Paixao and Monte Fort all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

"The hotel's bedding and toiletries were all disposable, which felt very hygienic, and the disposable bath towels were surprisingly thick – you can tell they put thought into their procurement. The room floors were sparkling clean. The front desk staff were also very warm and patient in their communication. For this price, the hotel offers incredible value for money. I highly recommend everyone stay here; it's close to the Ruins of St. Paul's and other attractions. Oh, and to the right when you exit the hotel, there's a breakfast spot run by an old lady. You have to walk a bit, but her dim sum is really authentic. I saw many elderly gentlemen eating there. The portions are generous, and the prices are very affordable. This morning, two of us ate 4 dishes for only 68 RMB."

When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling alone.

"Room is tiny, some rooms are next to reception which can be noisy. Somebody used the microwave in the middle of the night 😔. Price was good. Aunties are friendly. Make sure you have 100 HKD / mop/ RMB for depot which you'll get back. Also they need to see the little slip which you get at Macao immigration so don't lose it. Would stay again only if a room is available on the upper floor away from the reception. Location is amazing down a little lane with traditional shops and close to all the tourist sites."

"Cleanliness: For a hotel in this price range, the hygiene is excellent, and disposable toiletries are provided. Environment: The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't great; I was woken up by guests checking in downstairs in the morning, but it was very quiet at night. Service: The front desk staff were all very friendly and communication was seamless. They offer luggage storage, which is very convenient for tourists. Convenience: It's close to Senado Square (Da San Ba) and Grand Lisboa, so you can walk there for shopping. There's a 7-Eleven and a convenience store nearby that accept Alipay and WeChat Pay."

The Holiday Hotel is located within easy reach of the Ruins of St. Paul's, listed as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Historic Center of Macau in 2005. Downtown Macau is just an 8-minute drive away. Also easily accessible are the popular attraction Monte Forte as well as dining areas where many staple Portuguese, Chinese and Western dishes are served, a perfect opportunity to try the local specialties.

"This hotel IS ACTUALLY VERY GOOD! Spotless with very strategic locations. But if you’re non smokers and allergic to cigarettes smoke, DON’T EVER THINK ABOUT staying here. It’s a small hotel and the rooms are quite small with narrow hallways. That’s not an issue but most guests are SMOKING IN THEIR ROOM and the smell is SOO STRONG. I never had a sleep for two nights straight. That’s really UNFAIR. I paid just like any other guests but I couldn’t enjoy my rights for a peaceful comfortable sleep. Not even an hour! Mind you, this is a non-smoking hotel. Signs are everywhere with fines of MOP 1500 for violations. But people are still smoking cuz the policy isn’t really enforced. It’s just formality. I really wanted to check out after one night but unfortunately the booking couldn’t be modified or refunded. So, I had no choice but to suffocate from the smell of cigarettes. However, I have to appreciate the staff hospitality especially the guy whom I reported the issue. He tried to find me a better room but unfortunately none was available. Well at least he tried and he apologized for what happened. This is really commendable. But as a hotel, it could do better by strictly enforcing the policy of non smoking. It shouldn’t be hard to identify the guests who smoke."

"The hotel's location is great, very close to St. Paul's Ruins. The room was small but clean. However, the worst part was that the bed sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases were disposable, made from the same material as disposable towels. How can something like that be comfortable against your skin? Would the hotel staff themselves sleep on such plastic-like synthetic material? I don't understand why any hotel would use disposable bedding. Is the hotel cutting costs and labor by completely disregarding the guest experience?"

"My stay in Macau was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel’s impeccable service, elegant ambiance, and attention to detail. Every member of the staff demonstrated genuine hospitality, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and memorable. The room was beautifully designed, exceptionally spacious, and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. "The room was very clean. Hygiene: The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, which is great. Environment: Clean and tidy. Toiletries were all placed in a separate basket. Location: It's in an alley, but easy to find. There are many food options nearby, highly recommended. It's also not noisy at night. "The location is decent, close to the road, but you have to go up a dark, narrow staircase to the second floor. However, to my surprise, the room had large windows and great natural light. It was pretty standard overall. The bathroom was tiny with no separate shower and toilet, and the building is quite old, so everything felt a bit run down. There was a notice in the drawer stating a 1500 fine for smoking in the room, yet there was an ashtray on the desk (?!). The curtains even had a few cigarette burn holes. I booked this place for over 400 in advance, only to find out it was around 300 if booked on the same day. What a rip-off! But it's conveniently located for getting around, so I'll forgive it."

The room was clean and well-maintained. The cleaning staff, especially the 'Auntie' (a respectful term for a female cleaner), provided excellent service. It's close to the border crossing, and I had a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff (both male and female 'Xiaojie/Xiaoge', polite terms for young ladies/gentlemen) were very thoughtful and even gave us complimentary breakfast. The price was great, there's a supermarket downstairs, and a bus stop nearby. I'll definitely recommend it to friends next time!

Although the room was small, it was well-arranged and efficiently utilized, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The shower room also felt spacious enough. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The surrounding area is also quite nice, but the main selling point is the superb location – it's just a 5-minute walk to the Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal and Senado Square, which is incredibly convenient. The staff were also absolutely top-notch. The value for money is excellent, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macau.

This hotel is pretty good. The price is very fair for Macau standards. The room is small, but I guess that's also normal for Macau. The toilet and shower were literally in a closet 😅 Pros: The staff is very friendly, and their English is excellent. The hotel is clean. It has everything you need for a stay – a hairdryer, toothbrushes, tea. There were even cookies, which were actually delicious! Cons: The bed is VERY small. I'm so glad we only stayed one night because we slept terribly. It's impossible for two adults to comfortably fit on it. You're practically sleeping on top of each other. We kept waking up all night because of it.

It was clean and tidy with no strange odors. **Environment:** The environment was great. There's a park right downstairs. **Service:** The service was top-notch, and I was very pleased. The environment was good, for 200 patacas for a one-night stay in Macau, a big bed, and a private bathroom – it was more than enough. If you're out late in Macau, it's definitely more comfortable to stay overnight. The front desk staff was very gentle and patient. You can dry clothes on the rooftop. The only thing is this room was on the first floor, next to a masseuse, and an older masseuse was a bit... overly friendly.

Great location, around 15 min flat walk from Barra station, possibly the best budget accommodation with easy access from public transportation. Room was basic but clean, provided all I needed for a 1 night layover in Macau. There is a universal power outlet so no need to use a converter. Also within walking distance to most areas of interest in Macau center. Highly recommend

Towns Well Motel

My cousin and her husband stayed at Towns Well Motel during their trip to Macau, and overall, they had a good experience. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It’s very close to major attractions like Senado Square and other tourist spots, all within walking distance, which made exploring the city very convenient. Their room was surprisingly spacious and clean, which they really appreciated after long days of घूमing around Macau. The value for money is also good, especially considering how central the hotel is. However, they did mention that the hotel is a bit old and can be hard to find at first since it’s located along narrow streets and uphill paths. Transportation can also be slightly inconvenient, especially if you have luggage. The staff were generally okay, though communication can sometimes be a challenge due to limited English. Overall, it’s a practical and budget-friendly option for travelers who prioritize location and space over luxury. My cousin and her husband were satisfied with their stay and would still recommend it for short visits in Macau.

This hotel is so underrated!! This is a 100/10!!! We really loved this hotel, it is too bad we just stayed here for 2 nights as I really loved the place here. It is just 3mins walk away from Ruins of St. Pauls, and there are a lot of stores there — like stores where you can buy pasalubongs such as the famous peanut cookies, egg tarts and such… There are also luxury stores, uni qlo, pop mart, cosmetics stores, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants and many more… Basically everything you need is just reachable… We were actually from HongKong prior to staying at Macau for 2 nights and we rode a bus going here to I Fu Hotel and it was so convenient since the hotel is just like 30 steps away from that bus stop! The rooms were veryyyy niceeee too, the room space were really maximize and designed very well! It is very clean too! The receptionist is very accommodating, helpful, knows how to communicate with us! There is free wi-fi, mini bar and complimentary water — where you can ask for one everyday! Our only problem here was that we were shocked of the deposit fee that was asked to us, it was 2000MOP around 16,000 pesos (500MOP per room), and it we were not prepared since we only withdrew 2000MOP for our transpo and such since we’ll use card… But it’s understandable since they really make sure that you don’t violate the rules like no smoking… Also as a family of 10, all our 4 rooms were just nearby which made it more efficient. Overall I would really comeback here!!

This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting the old district. The bus takes you directly there, and there are plenty of restaurants downstairs, as well as a supermarket for convenient shopping. It's close to the Ruins of St. Paul's and just a few hundred meters from the Municipal Affairs Bureau, making it super convenient for shopping. Highly recommended!
