"Throughout my stay, I felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed. From the moment I arrived, there was a natural, easygoing atmosphere that quickly put me at ease and helped me settle in.
The location is also ideal – basically everything is within walking distance, and the old town is right nearby, making it super convenient to pop out and explore whenever I wanted.
What's more, the guesthouse's cleanliness was truly impressive: it was exceptionally clean and well-organized, with attention to detail evident everywhere. This made me feel particularly secure and comfortable during my stay.
Overall, there's absolutely nothing to fault; everything was just perfect. I would gladly recommend this place to others."

"We had a great stay here. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable, new and beautifully designed. The location is central and close to city attractions, restaurants, and stores. And the staff were professional and courteous.
The mattress is quite firm. I slept well but my partner disliked it. We would also have preferred normal bath towels instead of the disposable packaged kind provided.
Otherwise we were perfectly satisfied, and would still certainly stay again!"

"Enjoyed my stay at Caravel Hotel. Direct bus from Airport. 3min walk from bus stop to hotel. Staff was very friendly, allowed early check-in. 500MOP deposit was collected at check-in, which was promptly refunded a day after check-out. 5min walk to shopping streets which are connected to Ruins of St Paul. Very accessible and convenient, plenty of food options. Room size is sufficient for solo guest. Cleanliness and ammenities were satisfactory. Would stay again."

"This hotel IS ACTUALLY VERY GOOD! Spotless with very strategic locations. But if you’re non smokers and allergic to cigarettes smoke, DON’T EVER THINK ABOUT staying here. It’s a small hotel and the rooms are quite small with narrow hallways. That’s not an issue but most guests are SMOKING IN THEIR ROOM and the smell is SOO STRONG. I never had a sleep for two nights straight. That’s really UNFAIR. I paid just like any other guests but I couldn’t enjoy my rights for a peaceful comfortable sleep. Not even an hour!
Mind you, this is a non-smoking hotel. Signs are everywhere with fines of MOP 1500 for violations. But people are still smoking cuz the policy isn’t really enforced. It’s just formality.
I really wanted to check out after one night but unfortunately the booking couldn’t be modified or refunded. So, I had no choice but to suffocate from the smell of cigarettes.
However, I have to appreciate the staff hospitality especially the guy whom I reported the issue. He tried to find me a better room but unfortunately none was available. Well at least he tried and he apologized for what happened. This is really commendable.
But as a hotel, it could do better by strictly enforcing the policy of non smoking. It shouldn’t be hard to identify the guests who smoke."

"This is my second time staying at this hotel. It's right next to the Lower Market and very close to the bus stop, making it convenient to get anywhere. "The room looks exactly like the photos, so at first I thought everything would be fine. HOWEVER, the curtains stink - the smell is so musty it instantly made the room feel dirty and uncomfortable.
The bed and pillows were covered only with DISPOSABLE SHEETS. Honestly, it felt unsettling. I couldn’t tell if the pillows had ever been properly washed, and they even had a smell of their own. The texture of those sheets was disturbing, and the bed itself was rock hard. I woke up with a backache, feeling worse than before I went to sleep.
The towels were likewise DISPOSABLE. We had them changed every day.
The floor mat in the restroom did not do its job soaking the wet floor.
The aircon worked fine, and the location is great. But overall, the stay was unpleasant.
This place really needs serious improvement in cleanliness and comfort."

"Stayed at Vila Universal for a quick solo trip and honestly, it overdelivered. The room was surprisingly huge for one person, which made it feel more like a small apartment than a budget stay. They set me up in a smoking room as requested, and it was clean, well kept, and didn’t have that stale smell most smoking rooms suffer from.
The shower had proper heating, consistent flow, and zero drama. Location is the real flex here. You’re basically a short walk from Senado Square, so going out for food, photos, or a late night wander is effortless.
Staff was straightforward, efficient, and didn’t make check in complicated. Overall, it’s practical, comfortable, and extremely convenient for anyone who wants to stay near the historic center without paying a premium.
Would stay again."

"This hotel made our Macau trip absolutely fantastic! It's super close to the Gongbei Border, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was huge and spotless, and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. They even included breakfast for the next day, and the front desk offered free luggage storage. Lynn, Lewis, and Lisa at the front desk were all wonderful. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next stay!"

"Choosing to stay at Macau Oh Be Cheerful Inn was absolutely the right decision! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the access control system made us feel very secure. The location is excellent, making it convenient and quick to get to all the major attractions. What touched us most was on our last day when we were leaving, the owner was incredibly warm and helpful. Not only did they help us carry our large luggage downstairs, but they also personally called a taxi for us and saw us off into the car. This kind of personal touch is really rare in Macau, and I highly recommend it!"

GGuest UserThe room was a bit small, but the two beds were just enough for three of us. It was a very quiet room, located at the corner of the hallway, room 518. There's a 24-hour supermarket downstairs, which was super convenient for grabbing things. A short walk away, you'll find a tea restaurant and a bus stop. Before coming, I had specifically looked into reviews for hotels in Macau, as many guests reported getting bitten by bed bugs or fleas, but this place was exceptionally clean. I was very satisfied with my stay.
BbishwaeyoBelive &More is a solid choice for your Macau getaway. The hotel is super clean and conveniently located - I mean, we were strolling to restaurants and shops in 2-5 mins, no joke! And even at 10 pm, we were grabbing dinner no problem. Transportation's a breeze too, with plenty of options nearby.
The staff were friendly, and the rooms did the trick. If you're looking for a comfy, hassle-free stay in Macau with easy access to food and fun, Belive&More ticks those boxes.
Would definitely consider it again for a chill trip to Macau!
GGuest UserThe room was excellent, I was very satisfied. It had great cross-ventilation, plenty of natural light, and good soundproofing. It was also clean and hygienic. I will definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Macau.

**Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent. It was clean and tidy with no strange odors.
**Environment:** The environment was great. There's a park right downstairs.

GGuest UserI always stay at the Sintra Hotel whenever I'm in Macau, simply because of its excellent location. It's right on Senado Square, just a six or seven-minute walk to Grand Lisboa, and very close to the Ruins of St. Paul's as well.
JJamesnzThis is my second stay here. It's in a good location next to a coffee shop and circle K and near the Sé cathedral. Unfortunately since I stayed last time they've switched to using disposable towels and disposable bedsheets which are not very good. Please change back to proper towels and sheets, makes it so much nicer. It's also quite noisy in my room, I stayed on the ground floor next to the lifts and there were people shouting in the reception at night which woke me up several times.
CChenchendemeihaoshenghuoI chose the Hou Kong Hotel this time and was very satisfied. You can take bus 25 from The Venetian to Shui Kang Mei, and the hotel is right across the road. The soundproofing is excellent; with the windows closed, you barely hear a thing. A special thanks to the two front desk staff, Picky and Edie, who were very kind, enthusiastic, and had a great attitude! There are also plenty of dining options around the hotel!
AAnonymous UserThis hotel is so underrated!! This is a 100/10!!! We really loved this hotel, it is too bad we just stayed here for 2 nights as I really loved the place here. It is just 3mins walk away from Ruins of St. Pauls, and there are a lot of stores there — like stores where you can buy pasalubongs such as the famous peanut cookies, egg tarts and such… There are also luxury stores, uni qlo, pop mart, cosmetics stores, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants and many more… Basically everything you need is just reachable…
We were actually from HongKong prior to staying at Macau for 2 nights and we rode a bus going here to I Fu Hotel and it was so convenient since the hotel is just like 30 steps away from that bus stop!
The rooms were veryyyy niceeee too, the room space were really maximize and designed very well! It is very clean too! The receptionist is very accommodating, helpful, knows how to communicate with us! There is free wi-fi, mini bar and complimentary water — where you can ask for one everyday! Our only problem here was that we were shocked of the deposit fee that was asked to us, it was 2000MOP around 16,000 pesos (500MOP per room), and it we were not prepared since we only withdrew 2000MOP for our transpo and such since we’ll use card… But it’s understandable since they really make sure that you don’t violate the rules like no smoking…
Also as a family of 10, all our 4 rooms were just nearby which made it more efficient.
Overall I would really comeback here!!
GGuest UserThe room was excellent, I was very satisfied. The ventilation was good, the soundproofing was effective, and it was clean and tidy. The bathroom had no odors or standing water and was well-lit. The service was top-notch, I was very pleased. There were staff available 24/7 to answer any questions, and they cleaned the room punctually every day. Facilities were comprehensive; it was very convenient to charge my phone without needing to bring my own charger. Hygiene was great; the room was clean and tidy with no strange smells. The environment was good; there's a bus stop just a few minutes' walk away. Service was superb, I was very satisfied with the staff who were always ready to answer questions.
CClaire ArranguezThis was our second time checking in at this hotel. First was in 2018 and it's way cleaner than it is now. However, location's right in Senado Square, close to main attractions in Taipa. The room was also spacious, as well as the beds. Another big con is the floors reeking of cigarette smoke despite the signs of NO SMOKING. They should impose it stricter to avoid affecting non-smoking individuals. The carpets need a good replacement. If this hotel cleans their room better, the standard will so much better as well! A small fridge will also be very helpful. Every hotel room should have them now, I believe. Nonetheless, it's enough for a place to rest.
GGuest UserSatisfied! Although the room was small, it was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a wet/dry separation. The location is convenient, with easy access to transportation. It's just one bus ride to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, no transfers needed. Major attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's and Monte Fort are within walking distance. The price is reasonable, making it a good value-for-money option in Macau. The front desk staff were very friendly and even welcomed us back when we checked out, which was a nice touch.
