"The hotel is very strategic for taking the bus in Macau. You only need to prepare small change of 6 Mop per ride. From the hotel, you can go to the ruins of St. Paul, it's also close, it takes about 15 minutes to walk. If you want to go to the HKG Macau border, you can take bus no. 101 (from the hotel, exit n, turn right, then see the traffic lights, cross the road and see bus stop 101). If you want to go to venetian exit the hotel, turn left and take the bus."

"This hotel is located in a residential area, about a 10-minute walk to St. Paul's Ruins and around 3 minutes to Rua de Cinco de Outubro. There are many bus routes nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel is surrounded by small local eateries, so you can easily have all three meals there. We had breakfast at Nam Ping Cafe on Rua de Cinco de Outubro, and it was delicious, especially the 'Sha Weng' bread. I'd definitely consider staying there again on my next trip to experience local life."

"The room was clean and the location was great, very convenient for transportation with plenty of food options nearby. The service from two of the male staff members was excellent, but one of the female staff members was quite mediocre and always seemed impatient, which really detracted from the overall service experience. There's a restaurant nearby, Jun Sheng Cafe & Food, where I had the shredded pork with pickled cabbage and rice noodles for breakfast. It was delicious and came with a complimentary drink, which was fantastic value."

The PENSÃO CARMEN is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The PENSÃO CARMEN is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Macau. From the hotel, Macau International Airport is just 9km away. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Barra Metro Station within walking distance. There's plenty to do nearby, with Travessa da Paixao, Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 and Municipal Affairs Bureau all within a short distance. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"If you consider booking Pensao Carmen, you should know that on the signage of the hotel it’s NOT Pensao Carmen! Remember that, otherwise you’re gonna have a hard time looking for this place)) I’ll add photos of the actual signage. Pros: conveniently located in Macau’s old town, it takes around 10 minutes to get to The Ruins of St.Paul on foot, and all other historical sites are just around. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even if they didn’t speak English at all. I met the three of them and all were old ladies, super nice and cute. I left my luggage after check-out for the whole day before moving to Coloane village hotel. The bed sheets were of good quality and very clean, I enjoyed my sleep after a tiring flight. The bed, though, was kinda hard, not for everyone, but my back was grateful)) pillows were also comfortable, better than at some much more expensive hotels. You can get as much water as you want from the water station at the corridor. There’s a bus station 5 minutes walking from the hotel, the name is Ponte 16, it’s right in front of the famous Sofitel. CONS: The hotel is located on the second floor, there’s no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up there. My room was tiny, it’s really just for one person. The bed is kinda short, for me it was enough but I think a taller person might not feel comfortable enough there (my height is 162 cm) The bathroom is tiny, too, and given its dark green design, it looks rather dirty. I’m not sure if it was, but I found someone’s tooth brush in the shower and some hair in the drainage. Yuck!! Only one big towel was clean though. All in all, I didn’t expect much from it so neither should you 🤩"

The Perfect Family Inn provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Perfect Family Inn is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Macau. The hotel offers easy access to Macau International Airport, just 9km away. Famous local attractions Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16, Travessa da Paixao and Monte Fort, can all be reached with a short walk. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"We stayed for two nights. We did know that they only provide disposal towels so we brought our own. What we did not expect was disposable bed sheets (pic). It was very uncomfortable feeling on the skin, made me sweat like crazy probably because of the plastic like fabric. It also ripped during the first night, I expected it to get exchanged when they bring new water (it’s very common to get two water bottles per night) but it didn’t. So we were left with the ripped disposable sheets and the actual blanket came through. That made me think how often that must have happened before: the people start to sweat (macau is warm and kinda humid) into the actual blanket which is probably never cleaned because of the disposable sheets. Next guests the same thing happens, so basically everyone is sleeping under the same blanket. Doesn’t seem very hygienic to me. Also the bed was very hard (even for Asian standards). My partner and I are both under 25 and had back pain the next morning. The whole hotel and also the room was very humid, smelled like cigarettes/cigar and you can’t open any windows, not even partially. Otherwise it does look like the pictures and the rest of the room/bath was clean except for the smell and probably the bed. Also the location is very convenient. If I wanted to visit macau again I would probably get a hotel in Zhuhai (mainland china) which is less expensive and locals told us there is a 24h border control and the whole process only takes about 10min."

"The environment is clean and the location is convenient, close to Rua de Cinco de Outubro. The staff are very welcoming. The bathroom is spacious, though the bed is small. However, there's ample room and a fridge, which is very handy. The main benefit is the excellent transportation; there's a bus stop right downstairs."

"This was a nice, clean, large room. The staff is also nice. The only problem is noise, the upstairs neighbor is a ******, pushing furniture on the floor all the day and night. I don't know if the hotel can solve this problem or not, but that was terrible."

HhclingIn Macau, Green Old Hostel offers excellent value for money. It's about a 15-minute walk straight from the Gongbei Port. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable and spotless. The front desk staff – both the ladies and gentlemen – and the housekeeping team are all very welcoming. They even provided breakfast coupons. Right outside the hotel, there's a bus stop, making it convenient to get anywhere. Every time I visit Macau, Green Old Hostel is my go-to place to stay.

GGuest UserThe room was a bit small, but the two beds were just enough for three of us. It was a very quiet room, located at the corner of the hallway, room 518. There's a 24-hour supermarket downstairs, which was super convenient for grabbing things. A short walk away, you'll find a tea restaurant and a bus stop. Before coming, I had specifically looked into reviews for hotels in Macau, as many guests reported getting bitten by bed bugs or fleas, but this place was exceptionally clean. I was very satisfied with my stay.

CCinyiNikkiThe hotel's location is a bit tucked away. It was my first time visiting Macau with my child, and for this price, it was very affordable, so I didn't have high expectations. Macau has a lot of small streets, and even with navigation, I got lost. The road was so narrow that I initially thought I was going the wrong way. I was a bit surprised when I finally found it after circling back. Check-in is at 3 PM, and they were quite strict about not allowing early check-in. We left our luggage and went out to explore. We checked in around 4 PM. The room size was just right, and honestly, I found nothing wrong with it. It even had windows that could open, which isn't usually the case in Hong Kong. The facilities are on the smaller side, but everything you need is there, and it's quite good. We even managed to fit a large suitcase. They charged a 100 deposit, which was returned on check-out day.

QQutaiBaiThe actual room environment is largely consistent with the promotional pictures. The WiFi quality is decent. There are cups and a kettle, but no drinking water is provided. GGuest UserMy stay at the Yi Fu Hotel in Macau far exceeded my expectations; it's definitely my top choice for this price range! The hotel's location is fantastic – within walking distance of popular attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's and Senado Square. There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and souvenir shops nearby, making it incredibly convenient. Check-in was very efficient, and the front desk staff were warm and polite. They patiently explained sightseeing routes, transportation options, and local dining recommendations, and even offered luggage storage, which was very friendly to tourists. The room had excellent natural light and ventilation, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless, with a well-designed wet/dry separation. Although the room wasn't exceptionally large, the layout was practical, making good use of the space. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, with attentive service, a prime location, and a clean, quiet environment. It’s perfect for both leisure and short trips. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose Yi Fu Hotel again on my next visit to Macau. I truly recommend it to every traveler coming to Macau!

JJamesnzThis is my second stay here. It's in a good location next to a coffee shop and circle K and near the Sé cathedral. Unfortunately since I stayed last time they've switched to using disposable towels and disposable bedsheets which are not very good. Please change back to proper towels and sheets, makes it so much nicer. It's also quite noisy in my room, I stayed on the ground floor next to the lifts and there were people shouting in the reception at night which woke me up several times.

GGuest UserStayed for one night on the first day of Chinese New Year. This was the cheapest room I could find on Trip.com. For a family of three, the price and experience were pretty good. The auntie and uncle at the front desk were very helpful and communicative. We were able to store our luggage for free, which was great as we could check out in the morning and then go shopping nearby. They were also proactive in offering assistance whenever needed.

Wwalker smithI found the hotel to be clean and easy to get to the older parts of Macau as well as the gambling casinos. No breakfast, but there are numerous cafes very close. Coffee provided to guests - and not instant, either. Good shower with lots of water pressure, and the size of the room, while not huge, was bigger than those in Hong Kong. Some very nice Portuguese restaurants close by as well. All in all a very nice stay and I would definitely stay there again.
