Anonymous UserThe room was incredibly tiny, and the ladder to the bunk bed was so narrow that even as a petite 43kg woman, I had to turn sideways to climb it. At check-in, the front desk wouldn't let me take my suitcase into the room, claiming it was too small and wouldn't fit. They suggested I pack and unpack in the common area! I was completely speechless. I've stayed in hostels in various countries, and this is the first time I've ever heard of not being allowed to bring luggage into the room. Wouldn't that be a massive hassle? Plus, the common area isn't even that big; at most, only two or three suitcases could be opened simultaneously near the front desk. Later, I noticed everyone else had their suitcases in their rooms, but when packing, everyone had to constantly make allowances for each other. Even a carry-on suitcase open on the floor completely blocked the aisle.
Despite being advertised as opening in 2024, the bathroom facilities looked a bit old. The shower often flooded, and the toilet seemed a bit dated and grubby. The shower and toilet were in the same cubicle, so when it was busy in the evenings, you even had to queue to use the toilet.
However, the location is indeed convenient, with plenty of food options nearby. There was also space next to the bed for small items, which was a plus.

I stayed here recently and overall the room was really good—clean, comfortable bed, and I slept very well. The atmosphere at night was quiet, perfect for relaxing.
However, I felt a bit frustrated with the staff communication. I asked for the Wi-Fi name, but the staff only told me to use the username and password provided without actually telling me the Wi-Fi name. I had to ask several times and still didn’t get a clear answer, which was quite confusing and a bit annoying.
Overall, it’s a decent place to stay, but it would be much better if the communication with guests was clearer.

Lawrence13The hotel is nice and has a basement common area equipped with a projector, dining table, sofa, and many amenities for travelers to relax. It’s a great space for solo travelers who want to rest or meet other travelers. There are kitchen utensils available for simple cooking, and a water filter is also provided.
The room is suitable for couples who mainly stay at the hotel at night while spending the daytime exploring Taipei. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Underground Street and the Taoyuan Airport MRT.

neillangitThe location is superb just beside M8 exit of the Taipei Main Station and nearby a busy city center. The room is clean. I was billeted in a single room which was okay in size for its size. I was at first anxious if there would be airconditioning because it is summer now in Taipei. And amazingly, the room was airconditioned! The shower area was clean, the toilet was clean as well. Located at the 10th floor, I do not have any complaint.

Guest UserThe hotel is perfectly located near the MTR station. There is no reception. It is a remote reception. There is no luggage storage area, so plan your visit accordingly. If you need luggage storage, there are lockers available at the MTR station. The rooms are small, but enough for resting. Soundproofing is very bad. You can hear everything, so don't moan too loudly when having fun, unless you like being heard. There is a 711 next door. Very convenient.

Anonymous UserOnly stayed for one night. Booked it I think the night before or the same day. It’s cheap, for a private room with TV and bathroom. It’s quiet. The front desk, was very considerate at the time. The regular check-in is at 3pm, but she let me leave my stuff and go back at 12pm. That was only about an hour of waiting or even less. Just enough to have my breakfast. They have a pet cat, it’s the cutest thing ever. Basic necessities are there. Not really a downside for me, but it’s still good to know that you gotta take a 22-step stairs, to get into the elevator. It’s just how it is. It’s in a GREAT location though. Like before entering the elevator, it’s Mala Hotpot. Before taking the stairs, it’s Family Mart. And it’s located inside the Ximending night market area. I’d actually stay here again when I come back. If I’d need a private room versus dorm type.
The only thing that needs improvement is cleaning the entire room: they haven’t cleaned the under bed really well. Like I was trying to look for my slippers, so I bent down and saw the previous disposable slippers are there too. False eyelashes. Dust. Hair. Used bottles. But if you think of it, why would you need the under bed cleaned anyway? Well at least for me. It’s not a super big deal. But I remember some people have allergies and this might trigger them. So yeah. It still needs to be improved on. And it might become source of insects, bed bags maybe? or whatsoever. Oh, and the electric pot wasn’t that clean as well. I think we shouldn’t normalize that regardless if it’s not being used often by every guest. I to use the water dispenser outside(which defeats the purpose of having your pwn kettle in your room right).
Overall, I’d still stay here for the sake of cheap price, quiet environment and its location.

1. It's about a 10-minute walk from Ximen Station, but whether that's considered far or near is subjective.
2. The front desk is staffed until 7 PM. If you arrive after that, you'll need a password to enter, which will be sent to you via email on the day of arrival and also provided again by staff during check-in.
3. Luggage storage is available.
4. There's a water dispenser on the first floor, but it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while.
5. The room is quite small, but you can still manage to open a 28-inch suitcase near the entrance.
6. The sink area is small.
7. The shower doesn't have a separate door, so the floor outside gets wet after showering.
8. Shampoo, shower gel, disposable slippers, a hairdryer, towels, and hangers are provided. You'll need to bring anything else yourself.
