The room was beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming.

Getting around with Uber was incredibly easy.
The MRT takes a little walk, but honestly, it’s an enjoyable one. You get to wander through the neighborhood instead of rushing from station to station.

The hotel is conveniently located just 500m from Wanhua Station and 8km from Taipei Songshan Airport. Just a short walk from Longshan Temple Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. Seeing Taipei's sights from this hotel is easy with Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Taipei Main Station Square and R.O.C Armed Forces Museum all close by. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling alone.
"The environment is okay, but I wouldn't recommend it for female travelers (reason at the end). They have two buildings. One has separate male and female showers, while the other has shared ones. The downside is that the separate showers are on the -1 floor, which is a bit inconvenient. The curtain for my bunk bed was split, so it couldn't block drafts, and privacy was quite poor.
Besides that, a fellow traveler told me that when she booked a female-only bed, there was no gender requirement during booking or check-in. And a male guest appeared in the female-only room for two consecutive nights (there were men's shoes and male snoring)."

"This place is super convenient, with Beimen Station, Dihua Street, and Ningxia Night Market all within 500 meters. You have to switch to indoor slippers, which keeps the whole place really clean and prevents any shoe odors in the rooms. There are more than 5 toilets and shower stalls, so no waiting in line! All the communal facilities are fully equipped, and they even thoughtfully provide small items like hair ties and cotton swabs for free. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the rooms aren't very spacious... but that's a minor point, it's still a fantastic hostel and definitely recommended!"

ag777This was my first time staying at a hostel.
I had a late-night flight and was scheduled to arrive at the hotel around 3 AM, so I searched for a place with 24-hour check-in and shower facilities, and found this one. It turned out to be a great choice!
However, since I chose a dormitory, I felt bad about making noise late at night. I think I'll opt for a private room next time. The bed was plush, clean, and incredibly comfortable, so I fell asleep instantly. But I learned that I'll need to prepare for my roommates' breathing and snoring on future stays! I understand it's a shared experience when staying in a dormitory, but I thought I'd share this for others' reference.
The hotel itself felt safe as it was women-only, the interior design was lovely, and the staff were incredibly kind. I spoke with different staff members during check-in, check-out, and when collecting my luggage. All of them spoke fluent English and understood some Japanese, providing excellent service. The place was also cleaned regularly. The common areas had a warm atmosphere, and it was helpful to be able to refill drinks and water.
The toilet and shower are in the same space, separated by a glass partition, which some people might find a bit uncomfortable. However, it was kept clean, and with a bit of personal adjustment, I think it offers great value for money! You'll be using slippers that others have worn, so if that bothers you, bring your own waterproof pair. There are no toiletries like cosmetics or toothbrushes, but shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided. A hairdryer is also available. The shower pressure is a bit weak.
When walking from Taipei Main Station after my late-night flight, I passed through the west side of Taipei Station and felt very tense seeing homeless people gathered and sleeping there. I'm not sure if there's an alternative route, but those arriving at night or late at night should be aware.

Guest UserI arrived in Taiwan on my first night at around 11:00 PM and checked in to ColorMix Hotel & Hostel. I had booked a single room with a shared bathroom.
One thing I really appreciated was the 24-hour reception. Since I arrived late at night, it gave me great peace of mind knowing I didn’t have to worry about how to check in.
When I opened the room door, I was pleasantly surprised that the air conditioning was already on, making the room cool and comfortable after coming in from the hot weather outside.
The room was simple and cozy, with a small staircase leading up to the bed. The shared bathrooms were clean, and the hotel provided towels and a hairdryer, which was very convenient.
I only stayed for one night, and overall I was satisfied with my stay. The only downside was that the mattress was quite thin, so it wasn’t the most comfortable sleep. On the other hand, the blanket was thick and comfortable.
Overall, it’s a good option for a short stay, especially if you’re arriving late at night and looking for a clean, convenient place with friendly amenities.

Chee Kieong LeongThe cleanliness was acceptable and consistent with the hotel’s facility rating. The location was excellent and suited our needs perfectly, as it is located right next to Taipei Main Station and can be reached in less than a 10-minute walk via the underground passage.
Breakfast is served on the 6th floor, but there is no lift access, which may be inconvenient for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. However, it should not be a problem for younger guests.
Overall, the hotel met our expectations and offered good value for its convenient location.

I stayed here recently and overall the room was really good—clean, comfortable bed, and I slept very well. The atmosphere at night was quiet, perfect for relaxing.
However, I felt a bit frustrated with the staff communication. I asked for the Wi-Fi name, but the staff only told me to use the username and password provided without actually telling me the Wi-Fi name. I had to ask several times and still didn’t get a clear answer, which was quite confusing and a bit annoying.
Overall, it’s a decent place to stay, but it would be much better if the communication with guests was clearer.

It's good for the price and only really good for its price. Maybe location if you really hate walking to Ximen station. You get what you paid for.
No windows means once you closed all lights you get complete darkness which screws with your circadian clock (on the first night I slept for 12 hours just because of that)
Laundry is available at 80ntd (washing machine 90mins) + 30ntd (1 laundry pod) + 120ntd (dryer for 60mins) = 250ntd which is a little bit on the expensive side.
There are however a lot of freebies in the hotel:
1. WiFi is free, but I can only connect to it with my phone and I have to use USB tethering to get my laptop to connect to the WiFi.
2. There is also free entertainment because I can actually hear the guests in other rooms opening and closing doors even when they are not slamming the door.
3. Free moldy smell in the AC, perfect duo for when you eat in-room.
4. If you are lucky as me you can also find strands of hair on the bed when you arrive (which is my case)
But ignore all this if all you do is go back to the room, take melatonin and then shower so that once you get out of shower the melatonin kicks in and you sleep because then you skipped all the negatives.

Guest UserThere's a lot of dust mites inside the room. I hope they will not change the sheets only but do a deep cleaning for your next guests. Location is very close to Ximen station and night market. This place has also a pantry, so you can bring food from outside. Staff (Karen) is very nice and can communicate well in English. Oooh before I forget, they have a water dispenser, no need to buy one. It will save you a lot of penny because water is quite expensive in convenience stores.

Guest UserThe Inn is just outside M8 exit of Taipei Main Station. Conveniently located with a 7-11 and many nearby eateries. Simple room but the area is clean with a rooftop balcony area to chit. Room comes with a table but meals can be taken at the common area and friends can chit chat there too. Sufficient number of toilets and bathrooms at levels 10 & 11. Staff are helpful too and helped to carry my heavy luggage without me asking. Recommended and value for money stay.

Anonymous UserOnly stayed for one night. Booked it I think the night before or the same day. It’s cheap, for a private room with TV and bathroom. It’s quiet. The front desk, was very considerate at the time. The regular check-in is at 3pm, but she let me leave my stuff and go back at 12pm. That was only about an hour of waiting or even less. Just enough to have my breakfast. They have a pet cat, it’s the cutest thing ever. Basic necessities are there. Not really a downside for me, but it’s still good to know that you gotta take a 22-step stairs, to get into the elevator. It’s just how it is. It’s in a GREAT location though. Like before entering the elevator, it’s Mala Hotpot. Before taking the stairs, it’s Family Mart. And it’s located inside the Ximending night market area. I’d actually stay here again when I come back. If I’d need a private room versus dorm type.
The only thing that needs improvement is cleaning the entire room: they haven’t cleaned the under bed really well. Like I was trying to look for my slippers, so I bent down and saw the previous disposable slippers are there too. False eyelashes. Dust. Hair. Used bottles. But if you think of it, why would you need the under bed cleaned anyway? Well at least for me. It’s not a super big deal. But I remember some people have allergies and this might trigger them. So yeah. It still needs to be improved on. And it might become source of insects, bed bags maybe? or whatsoever. Oh, and the electric pot wasn’t that clean as well. I think we shouldn’t normalize that regardless if it’s not being used often by every guest. I to use the water dispenser outside(which defeats the purpose of having your pwn kettle in your room right).
Overall, I’d still stay here for the sake of cheap price, quiet environment and its location.
